Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia Pada Usaha Mikro Oleh-oleh Khas Balikpapan
This study describes human resource management in micro business of gifts and handicrafts. The sample of this study was 70 typical micro-businesses in Balikpapan. Management of human resources is one of the important aspects to be able to develop a business unit .This research is intended to get an idea of how to manage the human resources of a micro business unit. The results of the study found that management was still carried out informally.Training for employees is not done on an ongoing basis, there are still giving compensation and work safety programs are not conducted regularly, providing extrinsic motivation is good enough already
RANCANG BANGUN SERVER AAA UNTUK MENGAKSES SISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN PNJ
AAA server (Authentication, Authorization, Accounting) is one method for securing a WLAN network so that only certain users can access the network. Network administrators are able to limit the number of users, adjust the bandwidth capacity of each user, limit user access, and record user activity as long as the user is connected to a WLAN network. In this thesis research carried out AAA server design which contains user data for Lecturers, Students, and Staff on WLAN networks designed to access SIMPNJ (Jakarta State Polytechnic Management Information System). In addition, the AAA server also adds a web filtering function which functions to limit the user to access other web. AAA server uses Mikrotik Router that is also used as the main router, this main router will be connected to the Access Point and ISP so that users can access the internet via the WLAN network. Analysis is carried out from the data obtained when testing the system in the form of Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting server functions, the performance in the form of bandwidth and throughput, and the mechanism of database backup. Based on the results of testing the AAA server is able to increase security by encrypting passwords with MD5 when the user logs in with a WLAN network
PENDEKATAN BARU TEKNOLOGI MOOC SEBAGAI MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATAKULIAH PEMROGRAMAN
ABSTRACTMOOC (Massive Open Online Course) is part of an online learning system that is applied openly with the aim of connecting subjects with each other with an unlimited area and can be accessed through the website. In Indonesia, MOOC is currently being offered by various universities with various methods and platforms. MOOC technology is something that is widely discussed by the global community. MOOC is a new, learner-centered learning method and uses technology with unlimited reach, across the boundaries of classrooms, schools, campuses, and even countries, allowing learners to be able to acquire knowledge and / or skills and even be taught by professors from world renowned universities. MOOC itself is one student-centered learning, where as it has been studied that student-centered learning has various advantages. These advantages include learners can be more active in constructing their knowledge, can be more critical and analytical thinking, can develop problem solving skills and so on. A new approach in MOOC technology in this case will be more specialized in programming subjects, so that the subjects can be mastered by students well
STUDI EKSPERIMENTAL PENGARUH ASPEK RASIO TERHADAP UNJUK KERJA TURBIN ANGIN CROSSFLOW
Wind energy has been referred to as one of the primary renewable energy sources since 2000. Its axis-based concrete wind turbines are horizontal wind turbines (HAWT) and vertical wind turbines (VAWT). VAWT are generally in urban areas with an average speed that is relatively small and its direction is variable. VAWT is divided into several types, namely Savonius and Darrieus turbines. Cross-flow wind turbines derived from the concept of banki water turbines can be an alternative to extract potential wind energy into electrical energy. Cross-flow turbines have a simple design. Can be used and can produce high torque at relatively low speeds. Many designs of geometry design in cross-flow with the aim of improving the performance of the turbine. The aspect ratio (H / D) is one of the parameters that can affect the performance of a crossflow wind turbine. This ratio is used to measure the crossflow ratio aspect. Variation in aspect ratio (H / D) which is 1, 1.56 and 0.64 with number of blades 16. If the number of blades is carried out with 5 different wind speeds of 4.99 m/s, 5.94 m/s, 6.49 m/s, 6.99 m/s and 7.27 m/s. The experimental results show the highest speed in the wind turbine with an aspect ratio (H / D) of 1.56 at a wind speed of 7.27 m/s. The highest rotation speed is 313 rpm
Penerapan Metode Profile Matching pada Penilaian Kinerja Dosen Bidang Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (Studi Kasus STMIK Amik Riau)
Kinerja adalah gambaran mengenai tingkat pencapaian pelaksanaan suatu kegiatan dalam mewujudkan suatu visi, misi dan tujuan. Pengukuran kinerja merupakan suatu metode atau alat yang digunakan untuk menilai pencapaian pelaksanaan kegiatan berdasarkan rencana strategis atau tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Dari pengukuran kinerja dapat diketahui kemajuan dan peningkatan kualitas pengambilan keputusan. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat STMIK Amik Riau merupakan suatu lembaga yang memfasilitasi dosen dalam melaksanakan dua dari tiga dharma perguruan tinggi yaitu penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Metode Profile Matching merupakan metode yang membandingkan nilai dari variabel-variabel data tes atau data uji terhadap nilai-nilai minimal untuk setiap variabel yang telah ditentukan sebagai standar minimal yang harus dipenuhi. Perbandingan variabel ini, menghasilkan nilai selisih antara keduanya. Tingkat perbedaan antara nilai data uji dengan nilai minimal di sebut Gap. Gap yang ada diberi bobot, semakin kecil gap yang dihasilkan maka bobot nilainya semakin besar yang berarti memiliki kinerja yang lebih besar untuk kesesuaian antara kinerja dengan parameter dalam acuan penilaian. Metode profile matching memudahkan pekerjaan LPPM STMIK Amik Riau dalam melakukan penilaian kinerja dosen bidang penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat dan membantu pihak pimpinan dalam pengambilan sebuah keputusan
Agito (Agility Non-Thermal Wind Offensive) Sebagai Pendeteksi Cuaca Kota Balikpapan Menggunakan Gnss Wind Turbine
Balikpapan sebagai salah satu kota di Kalimantan Timur, merupakan kota dengan karakteristik wilayah cukup unik, kondisi topografi wilayah terdiri dari daerah pesisir dengan daratan yang berbukit, potensi angin yang dapat dimanfaatkan. Berdasarkan data Bappeda kota Balikpapan menjelaskan bahwa topografi Balikpapan yang hampir seluruhnya berbukit (85%), serta ketinggian wilayah kota Balikpapan dari permukaan air laut berkisar 0–80 meter. Karakteristik wilayah, ketinggian daerah dari permukaan laut merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh pada unsur curah hujan dan suhu yang ada, sehingga mempengaruhi cuaca kota Balikpapan yang tidak menentu. Berdasarkan fenomena cuaca tersebut, menjadi sebuah objek penelitian kami dalam mengetahui cuaca berdasarkan tingkat kecepatan angin dipesisir pantai MONPERA. Penelitian ini menggunakan media alat yang menunjang dalam pengambilan data penelitian yaitu AGITO sehingga akan didapatkan berupa hasil data berupa suhu, kelembaban, dan kecepatan angin daerah tersebut. Data yang ada akan diolah sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa dalam mendeteksi cuaca Kota Balikpapan dapat dikategorikan yaitu cuaca cerah, jika suhu ≥25˚C, kelembaban <88%, dan kecepatan angin cenderung naik, serta cuaca dideteksi hujan jika suhu ≤25 ˚C, kelembaban ≥88%, dan kecepatan angin cenderung turun

This research intends to improve laterite material as an alternative filler composite mortar bricks, began with analyzing substitution of mortar sand composite, to its concrete mortar composite according to characteristic and compressive strength, as comparison for common bricks building materials had done. This research was pointed, to maximize the bricks compressive strength with laterite addition by experiment method. Samples were made with two variations, which is normally and laterite bricks (as sand substitution is 50%) and the compressive strength gain normal mixture was at 25,09 kg/cm2. Meanwhile, by using 50% bricks substitution and 50% sand substitution, the results was 28,56 kg/cm2. It can be assumed that compressive strength material can increase the compressive strength
Perencanaan Rute Evakuasi pada Kasus Kebocoran Pipa Gas Alam dengan Simulasi Berbasis Computational Fluid Dynamic
Melting of metals generally used the energy source of natural gas which is flowed through a pipeline at high pressure. Production activities in companies that use these gases have high potential hazards because they can cause fires or explosions if not managed properly. This study aims to analyzed natural gas dispersion in the event of gas pipeline leak, determine assembly point and evacuation route map plan for workers in the event of emergency condition. Natural gas dispersion was simulated using Computational Fluid Dynamic Ansys Fluent. Results of simulation showed distribution concentration of natural gas indoors at leakage almost uniform with concentration between 5%-13,17%. At that concentration the mixture of air and natural gas has the potential to explode because it is in the range of natural gas flammability. The maximum natural gas concentration of 13.17% at a height of 12 m above the leak hole. Generated two points Assembly point based on the calculation of blast radius with total area of 58,500 cm2 and can accommodate as many as 65 workers.Keywords :CFD Simulation, Natural Gas Dispersion, Assembly point, Evacuation Rut

This study aims to determine the intrinsic value of PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero), Tbk shares with code shares BMRI, the shares condition, and decisions that can be taken under these conditions. Valuation method used in this study is Relative Valuation. The steps fundamental analysis are macroeconomic analysis, industry analysis and company analysis required to make investment decision on BMRI shares. From the results of study note even the BMRI shares price is overvalued than intrinsic value. Risk seeker investors who haven’t BMRI shares can buy it, and risk seeker investors who have PTPP shares can hold it in their portfolio. Risk averse investors who have the BMRI shares can sell it, and risk averse investors who haven’t BMRI shares can hold to buying
Penyelesaian Project dan Pemberian Scaffolding dalam Pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL) Di Perguruan Tinggi
Students are people who have been in adolescence/early adulthood who have the ability to think formally, and to regulate their needs and play an active role through social interaction. Learning in higher education needs to cover the development of thinking so that the standard of graduate competence can be achieved. The beginning of project based learning (PBL) was adopted more slowly in higher education and in its development. It was recommended to adopt PBL because PBL has the potential to improve learning and be able to develop optimally academic skills, occupational skills, employ ability. This study is intended to uncover the process of project completion and explain the level of scaffoding that can be given during project completion from students who have low abilities . The research approach used is qualitative researchThe results of the study indicate that the project can be completed even though it takes a long time from the project completion plan.Scaffolding levels include environmental provisions, explaining, reviewing, and restructuring and developing conceptual thinking
