    Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Himpunan Melalui Pembelajaran Matematika dengan Media Articulate Studio’13

    The purpose of this study was to produce media products based on articulate Studio'13 in mathematics subjects that were appropriate, interesting and effective in learning. This research is a type of research and development (R & D) by modifying 10 stages into 7 stages, namely; potential and problems, information collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, and product revisions. Assessment of media feasibility is carried out by material experts and media experts. Assessment and attractiveness of students. The effectiveness of the product is seen as a percentage > 75% of the number of students who passed the KKM. This research resulted in Articulate Studio '13 learning media proven to be valid and feasible to be used as learning media after getting a score of 88.3% from 3 material experts, and a value of 86.1% from 3 media experts. For attractiveness assessments get the criteria "very feasible" based on small-scale trials that get an assessment of 77%, and large-scale trials get a value of 80%. After the final assessment was made it was stated that 79.17% of students passed the KKM than  the media was declared effective. So that it can be concluded that the development of learning media has carried out is deemed feasible, interesting, and effective to use in learning

    Eggs are a source of protein for the people of Indonesia and are always the main choice in meeting daily food needs. This is because the processing is practical and the price tends to be relatively cheap when compared to other animal protein sources.Currently the need for national chicken eggs has reached 65%, dominated by broiler eggs. It is predicted that the need for eggs nationally will increase until 2021 by 4.87% with a consumption level of 4.18% per year. Even so, in the selection of quality eggs from producers, sellers and consumers it is still fairly conventional and not guaranteed whether the eggs are suitable for consumption or not, so a new method is needed that is more efficient and knows the characteristics of good egg quality.Based on this background, a practical tool that is easy to use for conventional traders is formed.This tool works by using BH1750 and MQ-2 sensors as parameters in determining rotten eggs which are then processed using Arduino-nano 328 microcontroller, then processing the data using fuzzy logic artificial intelligence based on parameters that have been compiled from the membership function of each parameter that has been obtained from sensor. This research was conducted by collecting information first, then conducting a survey to a location in the form of a traditional market to find eggs taken randomly by testing 3 egg samples.Based on the results of three tests on 3 egg samples taken randomly, it was found that egg 2 with a Ro value of 4.29 K.Ohm, 4.53 K.Ohm and 4.79 K.Ohm and had a value of light intensity of 10.00 lux and 5.00 lux are eggs that have the best quality compared to 2 other eggs. Keywords: Egg, Fuzzy Logic, Ligh

    Skenario Penataan Parkir Off Street Di Jalan Ahmad Yani Kota Balikpapan

    Jalan Ahmad Yani Kota Balikpapan merupakan salah satu jalan dengan fungsi arteri sekunder dan banyak kendaraan parkir di badan jalan yang mendominasi di jalan tersebut. Berdasarkan Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah, jalan Ahmad Yani berada di kawasan perdagangan jasa dan perkantoran swasta dan memiliki sistem parkir off street. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan skenario penataan parkir off street di koridor Jalan Ahmad Yani. Hasil dari analisis karakteristik parkir adalah volume parkir mobil terbesar berada di segmen 1 dengan 537 kendaraan dan volume parkir motor terbesar berada di segmen 4 sebanyak 372 kendaraan. Rata-rata durasi parkir kendaraan mencapai 1 jam. Tingkat pergantian parkir tertinggi memiliki nilai 0,50 kend/petak/jam. Indeks parkir tertinggi terdapat dengan nilai 0,81 kend/srp, angka ini mendekati 1 yang artinya fasilitas parkir tidak bermasalah namun perlu dilakukan penataan agar tidak terjadi permasalahan parkir. Kebutuhan parkir tertinggi terdapat di segmen 4 yaitu 68 SRP dan hasil ketersediaan parkir menunjukkan bahwa jenis kegiatan di masing-masing segmen masih bisa menampung kebutuhan parkir. Skenario 1 yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu memanfaatkan lahan kosong menjadi lahan parkir terpusat, skenario ini bisa diterapkan di segmen 1, 2 dan 3 sedangkan skenario 2 adalah memanfaatkan ruang parkir yang telah tersedia, bisa diterapkan disemua segmen jalan karena jumlah ketersediaan ruang parkir lebih besar. Skenario 3 merupakan gabungan dari skenario 1 dan 2 dan dapat diterapkan di segmen 1 dan 3. Dengan adanya skenario ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi kendaraan yang parkir di badan jalan dan meningkatkan tingkat pelayanan jalan

    Karakteristik Bio-Oil Hasil Pirolisis Limbah Brem Dengan Variasi Temperatur

    AbstrakPeningkatan teknologi otomotif dan jumlah kendaraan yang meningkat menyebabkan penggunaan bahan bakar fosil semakin meningkat. Maka  dibutuhkan bakan bakar alternatif sebagai pengganti atau campuran bahan bakar, untuk menjaga agar tidak terjadi krisis bahan bakar. Bio-oil merupakan salah satu produk hasil pirolisis yang dapat digunakan sebagai campuran bahan bakar solar. Bio-oil diperoleh dari limbah brem yang diproses dengan cara  pirolisis. Pirolisis merupakan proses pembakaran suatu bahan pada suhu tinggi tanpa oksigen. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan variasi temperatur 250oC, 350oC, 450oC dan 550oC dengan waktu 3 jam dan massa 500 gram. Bio-oil hasil pirolisis divariasikan dengan solar dan diuji untuk mengetahui karakteristiknya. Pengujian pertama dilakukan untuk mendapatkan volume hasil pirolisis dari tiap temperatur. Pengujian kedua menggunakan metode ASTM D 445-12 untuk mendapatkan viskositas pada suhu 40oC dan metode ASTM D 93-12 untuk mendapatkan titik nyala. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan volume tertinggi diperoleh dari temperatur 5500C menghasilkan bio-oil sebanyak 254 ml. Hasil pengujian variasi campuran 5% bio-oil dari tiap temperatur diperoleh hasil yang terbaik yaitu dari temperatur 4500C, sedangkan persentase campuran yang optimal bio-oil dengan solar diperoleh viskositas tertinggi pada campuran 15% bio-oil dengan 85% solar sebesar 4,779 mm2/s dan titik nyala tertinggi diperoleh dari campuran 5% bio-oil dengan 95% solar sebesar 61oC Kata Kunci: Bio-oil, Pirolisis, Titik nyala,  Viskosita

    This researh aims to provide empirical evidence that the accessibility of regional financial statement is a moderating variable that can strengthen the influence of the presentation of regional financial statements and the regional financial accounting system on transparency and accountability in regional financial management. This study uses quantitative methods with primary data. Distribution of questionnaires using sub-division of finance employees of Balikpapan City Regional Device Organization. The results of this study indicate that the accessibility variables of regional financial statements are not able to be a moderating variable. So hypothesis that the presentation of regional financial statements and the Regional Financial Accounting System on Transparency and Accountability of Regional Financial Management with the accessibility of regional financial statements as moderating variables is rejected

    Today on the highway, especially on crossing roads, motor vehicle users are increasing, both motorbike and car drivers. Not only that, it can be seen from the number that has increased greatly every day. This situation requires the existence of a time setting, whose purpose is nothing but to reduce congestion to the risk of accidents. Therefore, in this study, a traffic light simulation is controlled by OMRON CP1E-N30SDR-A PLC. Traffic light simulation at the three intersections based on PLC OMRON CP1E-N30SDR-A has been made a traffic light control prototype to set the timing of traffic lights at the three intersections based on OMRON CP1E-N30SDR-A PLC. The method used for this research is observation, looking for references about sending data at traffic lights and can be processed on PLC systems. Observations were carried out directly at the place of data collection, namely at Simpang 3 Balikpapan Permai. Programming used to instruct traffic light simulations is to use a ladder diagram programming language created using CX-Programmer software. The purpose of this study is to make a traffic light system in the form of a simulation or prototype that has timing from intersection 3 of Balikpapan Permai. In traffic light simulations, timers are needed to synchronize between available intersections, namely 3 intersections. This is so that the vehicle that passes from one intersection where the traffic light conditions at that time is a green light, then the vehicle no longer waits at the next intersection. The signal is sent from one intersection to another as an indicator so that the intersection can automatically adjust the timing of traffic lights

    Balikpapan City has groundwater quality characteristics that are still below the clean water standard, this is because groundwater contains iron metal which is very high so that the ground water produced is still yellow and smelly. Therefore, it is necessary to have adsorbents which are used to adsorb Fe metal, one of them is by using fly ash adsorbent. The research phases included preparation of fly ash, activation of fly ash with HCl, characterization of fly ash with SEM, determination of optimum pH conditions for adsorption of Fe metal ions by fly ash adsorbent. Determination of the effect of pH on Fe synthesis solution was carried out using adsorption of fly ash with optimum mass of 2.5 g, optimum contact time of 60 minutes and stirring speed of 100 rpm. Determination of the effect of pH was carried out with a variation of pH 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,and7. The results at pH 2 to pH 5 increased the percentage of adsorption, at pH 6 to pH 7 showed a decrease in the percentage of adsorption

    Analisis Penggunaan Similes dan Metaphors pada Novel Berjudul “Hard Time” sebagai Tulisan Deskriptif

    Figurative language is a way to engage readers and deliver them through writing in a more creative form. The two categories of figurative languages that are most widely known are similes and metaphors. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of similes and metaphors contained in a literary work in the form of a novel entitled "hard times". The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative by describing the results of the analysis in the form of data which has taken from one section or chapter found in the novel by Charles Dickens, which consists of 10 pages. The results of this study are the use of similes is more emphasized on the use of "as" than the use of "like". the use of similes "as" and "like" in the novel are used as a form of figurative speech which is made as a comparison between two objects of various types. Using similes in the novel can give a better sense and convey it to the reader. Whereas for metaphors there are only found five sentences because in this writing use more direct speech or direct quotations to emphasize the function of metaphor to live the story in Nove

    KORELASI NILAI KUAT GESER TANAH LEMPUNG KERAS DENGAN GEOTEKSTIL

    Laterite soil is used to support the development of transportation infrastructure such as roads. The use of geotextile as soil reinforcement material is one of the geotechnical engineering practices. The use of geotextile material and lateritic soil for pavement reinforcement requires parameters from lateritic soil and its interaction with geotextile. Planning and implementation work in the field normally use the ratio interface friction angle soil and geotextile friction angle (d/f), where d is value of interface friction angle between geotextile and laterite (°) and f is value of angle of internal friction laterite (°).The ratio (d/f) was obtained from direct shear test method ASTM D 3080-70. The laterite soil was compacted using a test proctor at a maximum density condition or with a value of optimum water content. The laterite soil came from two locations in Central Kalimantan province distinguished by the closer proximity to the City of Palangka Raya. The geotextile was is Geo-reinforcement HRX 250 and HRX 300.The result showed the value of the ratio d/f for Palangka Raya laterite soil based on two samples of different geotextile types. For the woven geotextile reinforcement HRX 250 (fine), the value d/f was 0.81 to 0.90, and for the woven geotextile reinforcement HRX 300 (rather coarse), the value d/f was 0.75 to 0.77. The ratio d/f is not significantly influenced by the geotextile mass, strength and elongation values. It is the soil types and characteristics that actually influence this ratio
