V.O.T.S. is an interactive application that visualizes real time disease outbreaks through an interactive heatmap, enabling users to track virus trends by county, severity, and timeframe. The system integrates public health data from trusted sources such as the CDC, empowering individuals and healthcare professionals to make informed decisions. No full text• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), a neurodevelopmental disorder that is determined by early challenges in social and communicative behaviors (Taddei et al., 2024), has been studied widely in all stages of life, from toddlers to the elderly (Heijnen-Kohl et al, 2017; Debodinance et al., 2017). • Every case of ASD is unique in that each can present different behaviors, however, there are three behaviors that are prevalent in many cases of ASD. The behaviors that are found and studied often include repetitive behavior (Martinez-Gonzalez, 2022), emotional meltdowns (Lewis & Stevens, 2023), and restricted interests (Jasim & Perry, 2023).
• Specifically, one study found that while autistic individuals had lesser opportunity to socialize and grow an intimate relationship due to their anxiety of meeting a potential partner, these individuals reported showing the same amount of interest in a romantic relationship compared to neurotypicals, depending on their identified gender (Hancock et al., 2020).

Examining the features of former research regarding substance abuse treatment
Get PDF“Drug misuse is one of the major social, legal, and publichealth challenges in the modern world” (Nutt et al., 2007). This study explored the characteristics of former research on substance abuse treatment approaches and treatment settings. Past literature showed short-term treatment can be beneficial depending on what works best for the individual and studies have shown short-term treatment has helped individuals with Substance Use Disorder (SUD). However, long-term treatment is the preferred method for individuals as it has a lower chance of relapse. A small systematic review was conducted from which data were coded of former published articles. A frequency analysis was conducted through SPSS, and three hypotheses were tested to determine the characteristics of treatment methodologies for substance use disorder (SUD) of various substances. The analysis conducted included male and female and younger and older participants. Results showed behavioral treatments, in-patient, and long-term therapies were most common. Does field research modify academic development?
Get PDFUndergraduate research experiences (URE) provide hands-on exposure to the research process but also aid in the development of self-efficacy and interest in research. In the study, students from distinct types of universities (two public and one private) were asked to take a survey before and after their URE. The results of the pre-and post were analyzed based on self-efficacy, interest in research, type of school, and gender. The results showed that there is no relationship between public and private school students and their research interests. The study\u27s findings underscore the nuanced interplay between students\u27 self-efficacy, gender, and engagement experiences, shedding light on the complex factors that influence students\u27 academic confidence and motivation.
