Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Intensif pada Siswa Kelas III SDN Ketegan melalui Cerita Bergambar pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia
Kemampuan membaca intensif merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu di kuasai oleh siswa sekolah dasar. Namun, pada kenyataannya siswa kelas III SDN Ketegan masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami isi bacaan secara teliti dan mendalam. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut melalui pemanfaatan media cerita bergambar. Subjek penelitihan terdiri dari 16 siswa, yaitu 11 siswa laki-laki dan 5 siswa perempuan Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus yang mencakup tehap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, refleksi Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca intensif dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata membaca intensif siswa tercatat sebesar 50, sementara KKM yang berlaku adalah 75, sehingga pencapaian pada siklus I masih belum memenuhi standar ketuntasan. Kondisi ini menjadi dasar dilakukannya tindakan perbaikan pada siklus II karena sebagian besar siswa belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Setelah pembelajaran diperbaiki dengan menerapkan media cerita bergambar pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata kemampuan membaca intensif meningkat menjadi 90, yang berarti telah melampaui KKM. Dengan demikian, penggunaan media cerita bergambar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca intensif siswa kelas III SDN Ketegan.
Intensive reading ability is an important skill that needs to be mastered by elementary school students. However, in reality, third-grade students of Ketegan Elementary School still have difficulty in understanding the contents of the reading carefully and deeply. This classroom action research aims to improve this ability through the use of picture story media. The research subjects consisted of 16 students, namely 11 male students and 5 female students. The research was conducted in two cycles covering the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in intensive reading ability from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average score of students\u27 intensive reading was recorded at 50, while the applicable Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM) was 75, so that the achievement in cycle I still did not meet the completeness standard. This condition became the basis for corrective action in cycle II because most students had not achieved learning completeness. After learning was improved by applying picture story media in cycle II, the average score of intensive reading ability increased to 90, which means it had exceeded the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). Thus, the use of picture story media has proven effective in improving the intensive reading ability of third-grade students of Ketegan Elementary School
The Effect of Job Insecurity and Perceived Organizational Inclusion on Outsourcing Employee Performance
This study aims to examine the influence of job insecurity and perceived organizational inclusion on the performance of outsourced employees at PT Karya Utama Nusindo (KUN). A quantitative approach was used with a survey method involving 83 respondents from five partners of PT KUN. Job insecurity was measured using 5 indicator items, while Perceived Organizational Inclusion used 6 indicator items. Employee performance uses 6 indicator items. The results showed that job insecurity has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, meaning that job uncertainty actually motivates employees to work better. Meanwhile, perceived organizational inclusion also has a significant positive effect, indicating that an inclusive work environment encourages optimal performance. This research provides insight for companies to leverage these factors in improving outsourced employee performance through a strategic approach that manages job insecurity productively and encourages organizational inclusiveness
Service Quality and Customer Loyalty: The Mediating Role of Customer Satisfaction in Cafe’s
This study examines the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty in the cafe industry in Surabaya, with a focus on the mediating role of customer satisfaction. In this increasingly competitive industry, cafe managers must pay attention to service quality to maintain loyal customers. Based on the Servqual conceptual model which includes the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, this study aims to influence service quality on customer loyalty as a mediating variable and identify the most significant Servqual dimensions. Using quantitative methods with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) analysis, data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 cafe visitors. The results showed that the dimensions of tangibles, reliability, assurance, and empathy had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, while responsiveness showed no significant effect. In addition, customer satisfaction is proven to have a strong influence on customer loyalty. The conclusion of this study is that cafe managers need to focus on improving service quality that can create customer satisfaction, so that it can influence customer loyalty and support the sustainability of the cafe business
The Influence of Characteristics of Islamic Human Resources on Employee Performance at Raudlatul Jannah Islamic School Sidoarjo City
The purpose of this research is to find out how human resource characteristics which include the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad namely Shiddiq, Amanah, Tabligh, and Fatanah on the performance of employees in Islamic School Raudlatul Jannah Sidoarjo. The data used is primary data obtained from the questionnaire and the sampling technique used purposive sampling with a set of 70 people. This research used a quantitative approach, with analysis techniques used as a validity and reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination test. The study\u27s findings clarify that employee performance is unaffected by Siddiq and Tabligh\u27s human resources characteristics. The influence of characteristics of the Prophets Muhammad are Amanah and Fatanah influence employee performance. There is a close relationship between the quality of human resources and performance that determines a company\u27s success. Educational institutions, especially those that produce the nation\u27s generation, are determined by the educators in them. Qualified educators are needed, and they must have Islamic characteristics so that they can provide high performance
Analisis Pengaruh Elemen Desain Grafis dan Atribut Kemasan terhadap Minat Beli Konsumen:Studi Kasus Kemasan Mie Instan
Graphic design on product packaging plays an important role in shaping consumer perceptions and influencing purchasing decisions, especially for daily necessities such as instant noodles. This study aims to analyze the influence of graphic design elements (color, typography, images, shapes) and packaging attributes (brand, MUI logo, label) on consumer purchasing interest. The method used is a quantitative approach with the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) model to design the research instrument and process. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 110 housewives in Batam City as the main respondents. The results of the regression analysis showed that graphic design elements and packaging attributes simultaneously had a significant effect on purchasing interest (F count = 30,871; sig. = 0,000). Partially, graphic design elements (sig. = 0,001) and packaging attributes (sig. = 0,004) also showed a significant influence. These findings emphasize the importance of visual strategies in product packaging to increase consumer appeal and trust. This study recommends that manufacturers optimally integrate visual elements and information in packaging to increase purchasing interest, especially from the housewife segment.Desain grafis pada kemasan produk memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk persepsi konsumen dan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian, terutama pada produk kebutuhan sehari-hari seperti mie instan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh elemen desain grafis (warna, tipografi, gambar, bentuk) dan atribut kemasan (brand, logo MUI, label) terhadap minat beli konsumen. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) untuk merancang instrumen dan proses penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 110 ibu rumah tangga di Kota Batam sebagai responden utama. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa elemen desain grafis dan atribut kemasan secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat beli (F hitung = 30,871; sig. = 0,000). Secara parsial, elemen desain grafis (sig. = 0,001) dan atribut kemasan (sig. = 0,004) juga menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya strategi visual dalam kemasan produk untuk meningkatkan daya tarik dan kepercayaan konsumen. Studi ini merekomendasikan produsen agar mengintegrasikan elemen visual dan informasi secara optimal dalam kemasan guna meningkatkan minat beli, khususnya dari segmen ibu rumah tangga
Penghijauan dan Implementasi 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) untuk Mewujudkan Desa Ramah Lingkungan
Candipari Village in Porong, Sidoarjo, is a village that is vulnerable to pollution and heat due to the impact of the Lapindo Mud and the lack of greenery. To improve environmental quality and public health, as well as encourage the village economy through tourism, a greening program was carried out and the implementation of 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) which involved planting 100 plants in several strategic village locations. This program uses an Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to utilize local assets in community empowerment. Apart from that, recycling of used goods is carried out to increase public awareness of good waste management. The results of this activity are expected to improve air quality, environmental beauty and the economic welfare of the community through the development of environmentally friendly tourist villages. This activity is also expected to increase active community participation in preserving the environment.Desa Candipari di Porong, Sidoarjo, merupakan desa yang rentan terhadap polusi dan panas akibat dampak dari lumpur lapindo dan minimnya penghijauan. Dalam upaya menjadikan kehidupan masyarakat dan lingkungan lebih sehat, serta mendorong perekonomian desa melalui pariwisata, dilakukan program penghijauan dan implementasi 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) yang melibatkan penanaman 100 tanaman di beberapa lokasi strategis desa. Strategi Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) digunakan dalam inisiatif ini untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dengan memanfaatkan aset lokal. Mendaur ulang barang-barang lama juga membantu menyebarkan informasi tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah yang tepat. Kualitas udara, keindahan lingkungan, dan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat diharapkan meningkat sebagai hasil dari inisiatif ini, yang bertujuan untuk membangun permukiman wisata yang ramah lingkungan. Lebih banyak orang di lingkungan tersebut kemungkinan akan terlibat dalam upaya perlindungan lingkungan sebagai hasil dari acara ini.

Peranan Mahasiswa dalam Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat untuk Pemberdayaan UMKM Berbasis Digital
Mahasiswa memiliki peran penting dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat, terutama dalam mengidentifikasi dan memberikan solusi atas berbagai tantangan yang dihadapi oleh warga. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kontribusi mahasiswa dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui berbagai kegiatan yang berfokus pada revitalisasi lingkungan, pengembangan usaha kecil dan menengah (UMKM), serta pendampingan edukatif bagi anak-anak dan warga setempat. Metode yang diterapkan berupa observasi langsung di lapangan, mencakup survei lokasi, interaksi dengan masyarakat, serta pelaksanaan program yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan setempat. Hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan sosial mampu meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan, memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat melalui digitalisasi pemasaran UMKM, dan mengembangkan keterampilan sosial serta kepemimpinan mahasiswa. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menegaskan bahwa kolaborasi antara mahasiswa, masyarakat, dan pemerintah setempat memiliki dampak positif dalam membangun lingkungan yang lebih berdaya dan mandiri.
Students play an important role in community service, especially in identifying and providing solutions to various challenges faced by residents. This community service aims to explore students\u27 contributions to community empowerment through various activities that focus on environmental revitalization, the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and educational assistance for children and residents. The methods applied are direct observation in the field, including location surveys, interaction with the community, and implementation of programs tailored to local needs. The results of community service show that student involvement in social activities can increase environmental awareness, strengthen the community\u27s economy through the digitalization of MSME marketing, and develop students\u27 social and leadership skills. This community service confirms that collaboration between students, the community, and the local government has a positive impact on building a more empowered and independent environment.
Aforestasi Alam Balonggarut Menuju Lingkungan yang Bebas Polusi
Program pengabdian masyarakat di Desa Balonggarut berfokus pada penghijauan lahan kosong guna meningkatkan kualitas lingkungan dan kesejahteraan warga. Kegiatan ini melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat setempat dalam proses identifikasi lahan, pemilihan tanaman, dan penanaman. Tujuan utama dari program ini adalah menciptakan ruang terbuka hijau yang dapat berfungsi sebagai area rekreasi dan edukasi, serta meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan warga desa. Hasil yang dicapai menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas lingkungan lokal serta antusiasme warga dalam menjaga dan merawat area hijau yang telah dibuat. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi inisiatif berkelanjutan yang memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang bagi Desa Balonggarut.
The community service program in Balonggarut Village focuses on reforesting vacant land to improve environmental quality and the well-being of residents. This activity involves the active participation of the local community in land identification, plant selection, and planting. The main goal of this program is to create green open spaces that can function as recreational and educational areas, as well as raise environmental awareness among villagers. The results demonstrate an improvement in the quality of the local environment and community enthusiasm for maintaining and caring for the created green areas. This program is expected to be a sustainable initiative that will have a long-term positive impact on Balonggarut Village
Pemanfaatan dan Penanaman Tanaman Obat Keluarga untuk Mendukung Kesehatan Warga di Lingkungan Rumah
Tanaman obat keluarga (TOGA) merupakan beberapa jenis tanaman hasil budidaya yang memiliki banyak manfaat, terutama untuk kesehatan yang dapat ditanam di sekitar pekarangan rumah. Sebelumnya, RT 16 dusun semaji desa Kemasan ini sudah melakukan penanaman beberapa TOGA, tetapi perawatan dan pemanfaatannya belum optimal. Padahal tanah didaerah RT 16 subur dan cocok ditanami TOGA. Kegiatan ini merupakan salah satu bentuk dari program pengabdian masyarakat yang ditujukan kepada warga RT 16. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk membantu warga RT 16 menghidupkan kembali tanaman Toga yang terbengkalai. Selain itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberi tahu semua warga RT 16 tentang pentingnya Toga bagi kesehatan dan memberi mereka pemahaman tentang cara menanam dan menjaga tanaman TOGA dengan baik.
Family medicinal plants (TOGA) are several types of cultivated plants that have many benefits, especially for health, that can be planted around the yard. Previously, RT 16 Dusun Semaji, Kemasan Village, had planted several TOGA, but their care and utilization were not optimal. Even though the land in the RT 16 area is fertile and suitable for planting TOGA. This activity is one form of community service program aimed at residents of RT 16. The purpose of this activity is to help residents of RT 16 revive abandoned TOGA plants. In addition, this activity aims to inform all residents of RT 16 about the importance of Toga for health and provide them with an understanding of how to plant and care for TOGA plants properly
Peran Pendampingan Pembuatan NIB dalam Mendukung Legalitas dan Keberlanjutan UMKM
Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) merupakan elemen krusial dalam legalitas usaha yang mempermudah akses UMKM terhadap perizinan, pendanaan, serta program pemerintah, namun masih banyak pelaku usaha yang belum memiliki pemahaman dan akses yang memadai terhadap proses pembuatannya. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi salah satu pelaku UMKM di Sidoarjo dalam memperoleh NIB guna meningkatkan legalitas serta daya saing usahanya. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi langsung, sosialisasi, serta pendampingan teknis dalam proses pendaftaran melalui sistem Online Single Submission (OSS). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa meskipun proses pendaftaran relatif sederhana, kendala teknis seperti gangguan sistem dan kurangnya pemahaman pelaku usaha masih menjadi tantangan utama. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendampingan sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas implementasi kebijakan NIB bagi UMKM. Dengan demikian, pengabdian masyarakat ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang pentingnya sosialisasi dan pendampingan dalam mendukung penguatan ekosistem usaha kecil di Indonesia.
Business Identification Number (NIB) is a crucial element in business legality that facilitates MSME access to permits, funding, and government programs, but many business actors still do not have adequate understanding and access to the process of making it. This community service aims to assist one of the MSME actors in Sidoarjo in obtaining a NIB to improve the legality and competitiveness of their business. The methods used are direct observation, socialization, and technical assistance in the registration process through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The results show that although the registration process is relatively simple, technical obstacles such as system disruptions and lack of understanding of business actors are still the main challenges. This finding confirms that assistance is very much needed to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the NIB policy for MSMEs. Thus, this community service contributes to further understanding of the importance of socialization and assistance in supporting the strengthening of the small business ecosystem in Indonesia.
