Get PDFStringent ventilation regulations make the humidity problem more serious. In modern society, people spend most of their time in built environments. More attention has been paid to indoor air quality and indoor thermal comfort. Fresh air centered HVAC systems are necessary for almost all buildings. In this chapter, a quantitative analysis is provided for the energy expenses and possible savings in fresh air ventilation. More specifically, hot and humid climates like Palembang are selected as the calculating sample. Under such climates, moisture recovery is more important than sensible recovery. Get PDFModified Plate Liners on Air Chamber Pulverizers With Wear Plate Resistance Materials Arbex 400 can extend lifetime, facilitate plate liner replacement in pulverizers (a tool for grinding and smoothing coal) due to abrasion by phyrite stones (coal follow material) which is blown by primary air scrape the liner plate cause a leak in the body air chamber pulverizer, speed up maintenance time. Modification by changing the sheet plate design into segments, adding hardness from 359 HBN (Hard Brinel Number) to 400.63 HBN and increasing plate thickness from 12 mm to 30 mm. From the evaluation after surgery for 6 months it was found that the plate liner was able to survive ± for 24 months, which previously had 8 months of abraded condition, especially the bottom to the main body.Keywords: Air Chamber, Pulverizer coal mill, Plate Liner

Get PDFThis study examines the Influence of Job Description, Work-LifeBalanceAnd Work Culture Against Job Satisfaction Employees Regional Library of South Sumatra Province. Implementation of research for 5 (five) months including in designing, executing and reporting result of research.This case study research aims to find out the influence of Job Description, Work-Life Balance And Working Culture either partially or collectively to Satisfaction of Employees of Regional Library of South Sumatera Province. In this study the population in question is the Employee In the Regional Library of South Sumatra Province, with the number of 70 people. From the result of this research there is influence of Job Description, Work-Life Balance And Work Culture with regression model ŷ = 14,741 + 0,283X1 + 0,756 X2 + 0,212 X3 + e. The three independent variables are mutually run along with the dependent variable means the higher Job Description, Work-Life Balance And Work Culture the higher the job satisfaction. Work-Life Balance variables are more influential on job satisfaction. From the results of computer calculations, showed the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained value of 0.681 or equal to 68.10%, while Adjusted (R2) of 0.644 or 64.40%. Variations in job satisfaction are explained by Job descriptions, work-life balance and Work culture. While the remaining amount (100% - 64.40% = 35.60%) is explained by other factors not examined. Implementation is an effort to improve job satisfaction of Regional Library Employees of South Sumatera Province can also be done through a clear understanding of job description, the role of each employee in the ability to balance between task and family (Work-life Balance) and improvement of work culture. Get PDFThis research aims to understand the influence of the quality of services offered by pt.Gojek indonesia towards customer satisfaction among student Majoring in Management Faculty of Economics University Tridinanti palembang with the number of respondents as many as 82 students (of the 100 respondets sampled) in described according to sex, course of study, the first half, and the days of.This research using two variables, namely variable the quality of service as variable independent ( freely with use of five indicators research, that is evidence of display ( tangibles ), the best thing of ( reability ), responsiveness ( responsiveness ), guarantee ( assurance ), danempati ( emphaty ). The regression equation is to research this is y = 31,786 + 0,672x.Based on the results of the analysis simple correlation obtained correlation namely 0,641 which means happened relationships and to relationships that are positive because the value of r positive. While based on the results of index determination, the percentage influence the quality of service for customer satisfaction of 41,1% which means showed a very strong. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF GUESSING WORD IN TEACHING SPEAKING TO THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENTS OF MTS NURUSSALAM OKU TIMUR
Get PDFThis study was conducted to find out whether or not it was effective to use guessing words in teacing speaking to the eighth grade students of MTs Nurussalam OKU Timur. Pre experimental was used in this study, with 33 students chosen as the sample by using convenience sampling. The data obtained were statistically analyzed by using t-test. The result of the pair sample t-test showed that the value of t-obtained was 4.635, where the critical value was 2.035 at the significant level ɑ = 0.05 and degree of freedom was 32. Since the t-obtained was higher than the critical value, the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and alternative hypothesis was accepted. It could be concluded that it was effective to use guessing words in teaching speaking to the eight grade students of MTs Nurussalam OKU Timur. This is also implies the guessing words game expected to enhance students‘ motivation and interesting in learning activities, so they can improve their speaking achievement.Keywords: Teaching, Speaking, and Guessing Words
TEACHING WRITING IN RECOUNT TEXT BY USING PLEASE STRATEGY TO THE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Get PDFWriting is one of the four major skills and it is important because it needs a number of activities: setting goals, generating ideas, organizing information, selecting appropriate language, making a draft, reading and reviewing it, then revising and editing. The objective of the study was to find out whether or not there was any significant difference on students’ writing skill in recount text between the tenth grade students who were taught by using PLEASE strategy and those who were not. The population of the study was tenth grade students of SMAN 11 Palembang in the academic year 2016/2017. In doing the study, the writer did the experimental method by using quasi-experimental design to the two groups of students. The X IPA 5 class became the experimental group and the X IPS 2 became the control group. The two classes were chosen because they had the same level of competency in learning English. A test was the instrument for collecting the data. The test was administered twice, as the pre-test and post-test. The result showed that PLEASE strategy had a significant effect on the students’ writing skill. Keywords: writing skill, PLEASE Strategy

This plan begins by calculating the coolant load, determining the storage design and the component of the refrigeration component. Based on the results of analysis to store eggs with a capacity of 20 Kg with the dimensions of Length (P) x Width (L) x Height (T) = 70 cm x 70 cm x 80 cm, Found that the Transmission load is 32.1195 Watt, Infiltration load is 1.3853 watts and Product load = 18.692 watts. The required compressor capacity is 21.796455 W. The required Evaporator capacity is 0.1021338 kW and the required Condenser capacity is 123,930255 Watt. Get PDFPenelitian ini dilakukan di Home Industry Cinta Bakery yang merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan roti. Home Industry ini sering mengalami keterlambatan disetiap proses produksinya dan juga jumlah permintaan dari konsumen tidak dapat dipenuhi sesuai dengan order yang telah ditentukan oleh konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perencanaan produksi terhadap permintaan suatu produk dengan metode Rough Cut Capacity Planning guna menentukan produksi selanjutnya. Dari analisis yang telah dilakukan, total kapasitas produksi perusahaan untuk 25 hari kerja kapasitas Reguler Time untuk pembuatan produk tersebut adalah 17,5 jam dengan output 62.167 unit untuk semua item. dengan menggunakan Metode Rough Cut Capacity Planning diharapkan perusahaan dapat melakukan perencanaan produksi yang baik untuk dapat memenuhi permintaan yang diinginkan oleh konsumen.Kata kunci: home industry, rough-cut capacity plannin

Dari sekian banyak pembangunan itu, salah satunya adalah rencana pembangunan gedung sarana pendidikan untuk Business School Palembang. Gedung ini membutuhkan perencanaan kebutuhan daya listrik sehingga dapat diketahui berapa besar daya yang dibutuhkan untuk menyuplai kelistrikannya. Dari hasil perhitungan, didapat besar daya yang digunakan untuk operasional pada gedung Business School Palembang yaitu sebesar 687970 VA. Hasil perhitungan kebutuhan daya tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai acuan pemasangan trafo PLN dan juga sebagai acuan pemilihan daya genset jika terjadi pemadaman listrik dari PLN.Kata kunci: beban listrik, daya listrik, perencanaa
