No full textThe module that was developed for the control of the logistics of a company that along with Microsoft Dynamics, a Web and Android application were developed and integrated into this ERP in order to have a control of entry and exit of goods, so that when dispatching an order does not generate losses with some combinations of products that are not profitable to ship. For this, several controls were implemented throughout the logistics process that allow to verify the profitability of these, in addition time indicators were created in the tasks performed by warehouse staff for an unbalanced workload the same as the time of collection of goods, loading time of a truck and the time of packaging an order among others. This will allow the creation of an equitable work environment. For the development of this module we used the Scrum methodology that helps in the flexibility and productivity to make fast and quality software deliveries.El módulo que se desarrollo es para el control de la logística de una empresa que junto con Microsoft Dynamics se desarrolló una aplicación Web y Android que se integran a este ERP para así tener un control de ingreso y salida de mercadería, para que al momento de despachar un pedido no genere perdidas ya que algunas combinaciones de productos no son rentables al envío. Para esto se implementaron varios controles en todo el proceso logístico que permiten verificar la rentabilidad de estos, además se crearon indicadores de tiempo en las tareas que realiza el personal de bodega por existir una carga de trabajo desequilibrada los mismos como el tiempo de recolección de mercadería, el tiempo de carga de un camión y el tiempo de embalaje de un pedido entre otros. Esto permitirá crear un ambiente de trabajo equitativo. Para el desarrollo de este módulo se utilizó la metodología Scrum que ayudo en la flexibilidad y productividad para así realizar entregas de software rápidas y de calidad

No full textThe objective of this research is to generate the clinical cut-off points for Trail Making Test in Ecuadorian population diagnosed with schizophrenia. It has a quantitative approach, descriptive scope, and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study will be carried out in specialized mental health institutions located in Quito. The sample will include 40 patients, men and women, who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia between the ages of 18 and 65 who receive outpatient or hospital care at these institutions. The sampling used is non-probability for convenience. The Patient Health Questionnaire will be used as screening tool. In the data collection, the Trail Making Test neuropsychological test will be used to evaluate the attention, working memory, processing speed and executive functions of these patients. After data collection, correlation and regression analyzes will be performed between the sociodemographic variables and the direct test scores. The normative groups of the sample will be stratified, and the measures of central tendency and variability will be calculated. Thus, the normative data of the groups will be transformed into percentile scores for part A and B of the TMT. Finally, an analysis of ROC curves (Receiver Operating Characteristic) will be carried out to obtain the clinical cut-off points of the Ecuadorian population diagnosed with schizophrenia.La presente investigación tiene como objetivo generar los puntos de corte clínico para Trail Making Test en población ecuatoriana diagnosticada con esquizofrenia. Cuenta con un enfoque cuantitativo, alcance descriptivo y diseño no experimental transversal. El estudio se llevará a cabo en instituciones especializadas de salud mental ubicadas en Quito. La muestra incluirá 40 pacientes, hombres y mujeres, que hayan sido diagnosticados con esquizofrenia en edades comprendidas entre los 18 y 65 años que reciban atención ambulatoria o hospitalaria en dichas instituciones. El muestreo empleado es no probabilístico por conveniencia. Como herramienta de tamizaje se utilizará el Patient Health Questionnaire. En la recolección de datos se usará la prueba neuropsicológica de Trail Making Test para evaluar la atención, memoria de trabajo, velocidad de procesamiento y funciones ejecutivas de estos pacientes. Posterior a la recolección de datos se realizarán análisis de correlación y regresión entre las variables sociodemográficas y las puntuaciones directas del test. Se estratificará los grupos normativos de la muestra y se calcularán las medidas de tendencia central y variabilidad. Así, se transformarán los datos normativos de los grupos en puntuaciones percentiles para la parte A y B del TMT. Por último, se efectuará un análisis de curvas de ROC (Receiver Operating Characteristic) para obtener los puntos de corte clínico de la población ecuatoriana diagnosticada con esquizofreni

No full textThe present work is based on the study to determine the viability of a business plan for the implementation of a padel academy with certified teachers in the city of Quito. Through an analysis of the environment it was possible to find important factors that have a certain impact on the business, thus determining the opportunities and threats. Subsequently, through the analysis of the client, qualitative and quantitative tools were used that showed behavioral variables and consumer preferences, which would be applied to the marketing plan to implement the corresponding strategies according to the results obtained. Finally, the 5-year projected financial analysis was carried out, which, through indicators and financial statements, concluded that the project is viable.El trabajo realizado se basa en el estudio para determinar la viabilidad de un plan de negocios para la implementación de una academia de padel con profesores certificados en la ciudad de Quito. Mediante un análisis del entorno se logró encontrar factores importantes que tienen cierto impacto en el negocio, determinado así las oportunidades y amenazas. Posteriormente mediante el análisis del cliente se utilizaron herramientas cualitativas y cuantitativas que arrojaron variables de comportamiento y preferencias del consumidor, las cuales serían aplicadas al plan de marketing para implementar las estrategias correspondientes de acuerdo a los resultados obtenidos. Por último se realizó el análisis financiero proyectado a 5 años, que por medio de indicadores y estados financieros se concluyó que el proyecto si es viable

Baquerizo Moreno”, with the purpose of contributing to with the development of the community and the conservation of the fragile ecosystems of the Galapagos archipelago. Chapter N 1. The contextualization of the project is described, that is to say, the theoretical framework that supports this research is exposed, it is explicitly related to concepts related to sustained development and quality management, to associate them with the food service and drinks, of which its history. Chapter N 2. San Cristóbal is characterized, place of the present project, highlighting information related to: i. Description of the area of influence of the project; ii. Social and cultural aspects; iii. Economic information; iv. Environmental aspects, and; v. Local actors involved in the project. Chapter N 3. It shows the characterization of the tourist system of the San Cristóbal canton, which highlights the description and analysis of: i. Tourism supply and demand; ii. Superstructure; iii. Results of the opinion poll applied in this project, and; iv. Compliance with the indicators of the standard “Quality Standards and Good Practices of Sustainable Tourism. Chapter N 4. In this project, the image of Cooperativa de ahorro y crédito Cooprogreso is renewed by means of an interior design proposal that reflects modernity, security, and trust, in which, the areas that provide customer service are intervened focusing on design to cover all user needs by creating spaces or areas that provide comfort and transmit calm. Thanks to the interior design it is possible to create spaces that transmit sensations, this is used in the project, to feel confidence and a comfortable environment to clients and collaborators to improve job performance and customer service. It is important to conclude that, when working in designed environments, the performance of workers will be higher than those who do not have adequate spaces designed with ergonomic furniture that contributes to human health and environments that motivate them to work optimally.Las entidades financieras son sitios públicos a los cuales las personas acuden con el fin de obtener dinero o guardarlo, es por esto por lo que estas empresas deben reflejar solvencia, seguridad y estar actualizadas para obtener más clientes y satisfacer sus necesidades. En este proyecto de titulación, se renueva la imagen de la Cooperativa de ahorro y crédito Cooprogreso, por medio de una propuesta interiorista la cual refleja modernidad, seguridad y confianza, de la cual se interviene las áreas que brindan servicio al cliente, enfocando el diseño a cubrir todas las necesidades del usuario, por medio de la creación de espacios que brinden confort y transmitan calma. Gracias al interiorismo se puede crear espacios que transmitan sensaciones; esto es utilizado en el proyecto, para expresar confianza y un cómodo ambiente a los clientes y colaboradores para mejorar el desempeño laboral y la atención al público. No full textAlzheimer's disease is the most common type of dementia in older adults, patients who suffer from it suffer an early deterioration in their memory and a progressive decrease in their functionality. The patient's functional problems cause him to become dependent, being a family member or friend who plays the role of primary caregiver. The demanding job that represents being a caregiver of a patient with Alzheimer's disease, usually causes the caregiver to develop depressive symptoms and in most cases present an impairment in their quality of life. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the relationship between depression and quality of life in primary caregivers of patients with Alzheimer's. Therefore, this research is quantitative, cross-sectional and in a correlational scope, in order to obtain numerical data in a single moment about the level of depression and the level of quality of life, data that will allow to know the relationship between these variables. For this, two measuring scales for the depression Beck and Hamilton and two for the quality of life: SF-36 and EQ-5D will be applied to 358 primary caregivers selected through a non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. The results of this study could show that there is no relationship between the variables or the opposite, if there is a relationship, it would give way to the creation of intervention programs that would benefit this population. So, this project aims to favor the knowledge of the subject, in order to provide a platform from which therapeutic approaches based on evidence can be deployed.La enfermedad de Alzheimer es el tipo de demencia más común en adultos mayores, los pacientes que la padecen sufren un deterioro precoz en su memoria y una disminución progresiva de su funcionalidad

No full textThis project suggests an interior redesign of the Railway Workshops in Ibarra with the intention of providing citizens a space for appropriation of the heritage that currently exists. The purpose of this intervention is to promote the idea of identity of the population with respect to the memory of the railway closely linked to the revolutionary idea of the economy in the city for the year 1957. Three fundamental spaces are designed, 2 in wagons such as the Museum of the Railroad History in Ecuador and artisan businesses, finally a cafeteria that combines the customer service space with the entrance to the uneven route of the railway workshops as a route additional museum raised. Infrastructure and history play an important role in the design process of interior spaces as it tries to rescue the idea of progress that the railway represents, incorporate it into the contemporary through the interpretation of the railway architectural function and the aesthetics of the wagons. The current aesthetics of the property are highly considered, such as the use of concrete, steel, glass and neutral colors to guide the management of design elements and create an attractive proposal that allows to preserve this architectural gem in the city.Este proyecto sugiere un rediseño interiorista de los Talleres del Ferrocarril de la ciudad de Ibarra con la intensión de brindar a la ciudadanía un espacio de apropiación del patrimonio que existe actualmente. El propósito de esta intervención es fomentar la idea de identidad de la población con respecto a la memoria del ferrocarril muy ligada a la idea revolucionaria de la economía en la ciudad para el año de 1957 Se diseñan tres espacios fundamentales, 2 en vagones como es el museo de la historia del Ferrocarril en el Ecuador y negocios artesanales, finalmente una cafetería que conjuga el espacio de servicio al cliente con el ingreso al recorrido a desnivel de los talleres del ferrocarril como recorrido adicional del museo planteado. La infraestructura y la historia juegan un papel importante en el proceso de diseño de los espacios interiores ya que se intenta rescatar la idea de progreso que represento el ferrocarril, incorporarlo a lo contemporáneo a través de la interpretación de la función arquitectónica ferroviaria y la estética de los vagones. Se considera mucho la estética actual del inmueble como es el uso del hormigón, el acero, el vidrio y los colores neutros para guiar el manejo de los elementos de diseño y crear una propuesta atractiva que permita conservar esta joya arquitectónica en la ciudad

Why is it thought of a project that uses a visually appealing means of communication which is a book, conceptual art, with a theme that highlights these traditions. Digital illustration techniques will be used for the creation of characters, scenarios, accessories and other elements that are directly or indirectly related to the story. It is planned to give an analysis to the results obtained in the publication of the book, which will be discussed in graphs of focus and thus have accurate data on its functionality and objectives.El presente proyecto está enfocado en resaltar las costumbres y tradiciones ancestrales (incas) las cuales han desaparecido paulatinamente y han llegado a ser casi desconocidas para las nuevas generaciones. Por lo cual se ha pensado en un proyecto que utilice un medio de comunicación atractivo visualmente el cual es un libro, concept art, con una temática que resalte dichas tradiciones. No full textIn recent years, the number of motorcycles registered in Ecuador has grown considerably, one of the main reasons is the ease of mobility it allows and the affordable price in the Ecuadorian market. For this reason, the main objective of this Business Plan is to create a company that produces and markets airbag vests for motorcycles, to provide safety and peace of mind to motorcyclists since the death rate in accidents is high. In order to verify its viability, several analyzes are carried out, through the investigation of the external environment (PEST and PORTER) in relation to the project industry and some qualitative and quantitative investigations of the market. This has made it possible to find an important business opportunity, since potential clients consider that it is vitally important to wear a garment with the specifications of the product to be implemented, because it has the ability to save the life of the motorcyclist in the event of a collision. The findings make it possible to formulate an adequate marketing plan during the five-year period in order to position the brand. Regarding the organizational structure of the company, several trained collaborators are stipulated to allow efficient production and a product with optimal functionality. The investment required is 56,850.00 dollars, which is recovered in a period of approximately 3 years, with an internal rate of return of 32.19 percent showing higher than the WACC discount rate, which allows the feasibility of the project to be concluded. as a correct answer with the general objective set.En los últimos años el número de motocicletas matriculadas en Ecuador está creciendo considerablemente, una de las razones principales es la facilidad de movilidad que permite y el precio accesible en el mercado ecuatoriano. Por tal motivo el presente Plan de Negocios tiene como principal objetivo la creación de una empresa productora y comercializadora de chalecos airbag para motos, para brindar seguridad y tranquilidad a los motociclistas ya que el índice de mortalidad en accidentes es alto. Para verificar su viabilidad se realizan varios análisis, mediante la investigación del entorno externo (PEST y PORTER) en relación a la industria del proyecto y algunas investigaciones cualitativas y cuantitativas del mercado. Esto ha permitido encontrar una oportunidad de negocio importante, ya que los posibles clientes consideran que es de vital importancia usar una prenda con las especificaciones del producto que se pretende implementar, debido a que tiene la capacidad de salvar la vida del motociclista en caso de una colisión. Los hallazgos encontrados permiten formular un plan de marketing adecuado durante el periodo de cinco años para lograr posicionar la marca. En lo que respecta a la estructura organizacional de la empresa, se estipula varios colaboradores capacitados que permitan tener una producción eficiente y un producto con una funcionalidad óptima. No full textThis research and production project presents a museum in Virtual Reality (VR). It is based on the Kichwa Otavalo midwives, and their ancestral knowledge as applied in the midwife role. Therefore, this project serves as an instrument to share this position with future midwives, as well as to spread general knowledge. Ecuador holds a diversity of cultures, knowledge, and traditions; in birthing methods, we see the application of ancestral knowledge through the midwife role.
This occupation has transcended centuries, as ancestral knowledge has been passed down from generation to generation through the use of medicinal plants during the pregnancy, birth, and postpartum processes. Regarding the Andean Cosmovision: Mother Earth (Pachamama) and her connection to humanity, the inextricable value of caring for the woman, and the correct usage and application of medicinal plants during childbirth-- ensuring a culturally humanized birth.
