Implementación de un sistema de adquisición de datos cardiovasculares utilizando tecnología IoMT
No full textIn this degree work, describe the development and implementation of a monitoring system for people prone to cardiovascular diseases, using the principle of IoMT that is considered as the internet of medical things. On the other hand, this system uses the heart rate measurement as the main data, for which, the first step in carrying out this work is the lifting of all the requirements based on the problem. Also, it is necessary to carry out an investigation of the different types of elements that can be considered for the hardware implementation. In the same way, it is essential to carry out another study comparing the different current technologies to carry out the software development, as well as said system in a hosting platform. Once the respective studies have been carried out, we proceed with the design of the network and then the architectural design of the electronic prototype. It is important to mention that within the network is the database, web and mobile applications, which use several programming languages for their development. After having finished all the software development, the electronic device is implemented, using the most appropriate elements defined in the previous study. Finally, the monitoring system is in charge of taking the patients heart rate data and storing it in a web application hosted in a hosting, so that this information can be accessible when the doctor or the patient requires it. On the other hand, in the event that the heart rate data exceeds the limits established as normal in the development of the software, an agenda will be registered automatically including the current time and date data, in which the last data was taken of the patient, thus ensuring that the patient-type user can be seen by a doctor as soon as possible.En el presente trabajo de titulación se describe el desarrollo e implementación de un sistema de monitoreo para personas propensas a enfermedades cardiovasculares, utilizando el principio de IoMT que es considerado como el internet de las cosas médicas. Por otro lado, este sistema utiliza como dato principal la medición de frecuencia cardíaca, para lo cual, el primer paso en la realización de este trabajo es el levantamiento de todos los requerimientos en base a la problemática. También, es necesario llevar a cabo una investigación de los distintos tipos de elementos que se pueden considerar para la implementación del hardware. De la misma manera, es fundamental realizar otro estudio comparando las distintas tecnologías actuales para llevar acabo el desarrollo del software, así como también alojar dicho sistema en una plataforma hosting. Una vez realizado los respectivos estudios, se procede a iniciar con el diseño de la red y posteriormente el diseño arquitectónico del prototipo electrónico. Es importante mencionar que dentro de la red se encuentra la base de datos, aplicaciones web y móvil, mismas que utilizan para su desarrollo varios lenguajes de programación. Luego de haber terminado con todo el desarrollo del software, se procede a realizar la implementación del dispositivo electrónico, utilizando los elementos más apropiados definidos en el estudio previo. Finalmente, el sistema de monitoreo es el encargado de tomar los datos de frecuencia cardíaca del paciente y almacenarlos en una aplicación web alojada en un hosting, de tal manera, que esta información pueda ser accesible cuando el médico o el paciente lo requieran. Por otro lado, en caso de que el dato de frecuencia cardíaca sobrepase los límites establecidos como normales en el desarrollo del software, se realizara el registro de una agenda automáticamente incluyendo los datos de hora y fecha actuales, en los cuales se tomó el último dato del paciente, garantizando de esta manera que el usuario del tipo paciente pueda ser atendido por un médico lo más pronto posible

In that sense, a first section exposes hyper-presidentialism as study phenomenon in Political Science. Furthermore, the paper mentions the use of Rational Choice theory to describe and justify the actions implemented by the former president to consolidate this political phenomenon. In a third part, the analysis exhibits the taking of state powers (legislative and judicial), the situation of the Rule of Law, which is seen from the citizen participation and the rights of freedom, expression and association. Within this context, the importance of the content of Decree 16 and its reformatory 739 and the communication law are included. In addition, it will have attributes such as the exquisite aroma provided by the French barrels, the citrus-sweet taste of cocoa fruit without additional sweeteners which is also high in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. Ecuador is a rich country in agriculture, with finest fruit standards, whom must be seen as a business opportunity and adding value to the project, especially because cocoa fruit is not being totally used by agricultures, focusing mostly on the crop of seeds for the chocolate production. Simulación mediante dinámica de fluidos computacional (CFD) del efluente en el clarificador secundario de la PTAR Udlapark
No full textThis work focuses on the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to simulate the hydraulic behavior of the flow in the secondary clarifier of the UDLAPARK wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) through the OpenFOAM open source platform. , which includes numerical calculation methods that iteratively solve the Navier-Stokes equations to predict fluid motion. In principle, the pre-processing was developed with the definition of the domain by constructing the circular geometry with its respective real dimensions and generating the computational mesh in the SALOME software. Next, the simulation was run for the secondary clarifier where the regions of interest of the flow and the initial conditions of the system regarding the velocity and pressure parameters were specified. The aim was to reach the steady state of the hydraulic model in a simulation time of 300 seconds, using the solver for incompressible flows "interFoam", with the RANS (Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes) turbulence model and the "PIMPLE" solution algorithm. which is characterized by highlighting the calculation of speed and pressure with greater stability. Finally the numerical convergence was reached after 225 seconds and the post-processing could be carried out using the visual tool ParaView where it was possible to observe the three-dimensional projection of the hydraulic behavior of the secondary clarifier and the analysis of the flow field was carried out. by means of the visual application of the velocity vector field which determined the distribution and direction of the flow.Este trabajo se centra en la aplicación de la dinámica de fluidos computacional (CFD) para simular el comportamiento hidráulico del flujo en el clarificador secundario de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales (PTAR) de UDLAPARK por medio de la plataforma de código abierto de OpenFOAM, la cual incluye los métodos de cálculo numérico que resuelven iterativamente las ecuaciones de Navier-Stokes para predecir el movimiento del fluido. En principio, se desarrolló el pre-procesamiento con la definición del dominio mediante la construcción de la geometría circular con sus respectivas dimensiones reales y la generación del mallado computacional en el software SALOME. A continuación, se ejecutó la simulación para el clarificador secundario donde se especificaron las regiones de interés del flujo y las condiciones iniciales del sistema referentes a los parámetros de velocidad y presión. Se busco alcanzar el estado estacionario del modelo hidráulico en un tiempo de simulación de 300 segundos, utilizando el solucionador para flujos incompresibles “interFoam”, con el modelo de turbulencia RANS (Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes) y el algoritmo de solución “PIMPLE” que se caracteriza por resaltar el cálculo de la velocidad y presión con mayor estabilidad. Finalmente se alcanzó la convergencia numérica a partir de los 225 segundos y se pudo llevar a cabo el post-procesamiento utilizando la herramienta visual ParaView en donde fue posible observar la proyección tridimensional del comportamiento hidráulico del clarificador secundario y se realizó el análisis del campo de flujo por medio de la aplicación visual del campo vectorial de la velocidad el cual determino la distribución y dirección del flujo

The thematic lounge bar is divided into two floors, made up of areas such as: Parking, administrative office, waiting area, reception, drink bar, table area, games area, toilet facilities, emergency exits, kitchen, area collaborators; On the other hand, the upper floor is made up of areas such as: VIP rooms, terrace, toilets and a drinks bar. Having spaces specifically for the development of work activities, entertainment, and socialization spaces. The main objective of the project is to create spaces that manage to transmit sensations, emotions and experiences in order to eliminate the stress suffered by the user, with the application of various materials, textures, colors and decorative elements, among others. The concept chosen for application in interior design is the electronic telegraph, bearing in mind that its main objective was to transmit encoded information, with the intention of communicating to two individuals, sender and receiver, obtaining a direct relationship between both parties. Through the abstraction of forms, an optimal interior design was achieved.El presente trabajo de titulación se basa específicamente en el cambio de uso del Dentales Pablo Hernán a un Lounge Bar Temático, el proyecto tiene lugar en la ciudad de Quito, sector Santa Clara en las calles Versalles y Gerónimo Carrión con un área de 764.32 m2, con el fin de aprovechar la alta afluencia de personas que posee el sector, mismo que pretende resolver las necesidades del consumidor local con un enfoque estético y práctico. El lounge bar temático se encuentra dividido en dos plantas, compuesta con áreas tales como: Parqueaderos, oficina administrativa, área de espera, recepción, barra de tragos, área de mesas, área de juegos, servicios higiénicos, salidas de emergencia, cocina, área de colaboradores; por otra parte, la planta alta se encuentra compuesta por áreas como: Salas VIP, terraza, servicios higiénicos y barra de tragos. Contando con espacios específicamente para el desarrollo de actividades de trabajo, entretenimiento y espacios de socialización. El principal objetivo del proyecto es crear espacios que logren transmitir sensaciones, emociones y experiencias con el fin de eliminar el estrés que sufre el usuario, con la aplicación de diversos materiales, texturas, colores y elementos decorativos entre otros. Convirtiéndose en atmosferas que conducen a tiempos, lugares y estatus. No full textIntroduction: Deep mycoses are systemic diseases caused by dimorphic fungi capable of affecting any tissue and organ. The aim of this study is to analyze the absolute and relative frequencies of deep fungal infections in Ecuador in the period 2015 to 2017, according to the INEC data, which is the governing body responsible for national statistics and for generating the official statistics of the Ecuador allows decisions to be made in public policy. Objective: Analyze the absolute and relative frequencies of deep fungal infections per year in Ecuador in the period 2015 to 2017. Establish the relationships between deep mycoses and variables of interest. Materials and methods: To achieve the objectives, an observational clinical study of a retrospective review was conducted on all patients discharged from health services in Ecuador with deep fungal infections in the 2015-2017 period according to INEC data. A database was made with the variables of interest that were later processed by the JASP statistical analysis program, where the absolute and relative frequencies of these variables were obtained by year of discharge, and the variables were related to analyze if there are statistically significant differences between them. The OpenEpi online program was also used to analyze the probability of having deep fungal infections according to sex, age, and area of residence, and the MedCalc's online program was used to test or reject hypotheses made using logistic regression. Results: The variables with the highest frequency of deep mycosis per year were: Candidiasis, urban area, Pichincha and Guayas, mixed ethnicity, male sex. There are significant differences between the variables days of stay with cause of deep mycosis and condition of discharge. Statistical significance was also found between province of residence, age, sex and area of residence with cause of deep mycosis, all with (p smaller than 0.001). Being older than 40 years and living in rural areas is a risk factor for deep mycosis with Odds ratio of 1.0511 (IC 0.8346-1.33239), 1.2882 (IC 0.9449-17562) respectively. Male sex is a protective factor for deep mycosis with Odds ratio of 0.8384 (IC 0.6687-1.0511). Cambio de uso de una residencia a un centro de relajación y esparcimiento en el Valle de Chillos
No full textRelaxation and the release of stress is one of the objectives of this project, which proposes the interior design and change of use of a residence to a center of relaxation and recreation in the Valley of Chillos. For this reason, the project is aimed at people who wish to improve their physical, emotional and mental health through alternative therapies. The project has several areas to achieve its objective such as yoga, meditation, dance therapy, massages, wet areas and also has additional services such as accommodation and restaurant. The intervention area of the project is 740 square meters where all these spaces are distributed to meet the needs of the user. The relaxation center is located in a residential sector surrounded by green areas that provide peace and tranquility to the environment, thus favoring the project. As for the concept, the symbol OM was chosen, which represents the essence of the place because of its meaning and the peace it conveys when it is vocalized. It abstracted its curved and straight shapes that managed to create an organic and linear design that provide cozy and relaxing sensations for the user. Likewise, the chromatics used is a palette of natural colors such as brown, green and blue that go in conjunction with noble materials such as wood and strong such as metal that make the spaces, elegant places according to the chosen style, Neo Art Deco.La relajación y la liberación del estrés es uno de los objetivos de este proyecto, por el cual se plantea el rediseño interiorista y cambio de uso de una residencia a un centro de relajación y esparcimiento en el Valle de los Chillos. Por este motivo el proyecto va dirigido a personas que deseen mejorar su salud física, emocional y mental mediante las terapias alternativas. El proyecto cuenta con varias zonas para lograr su objetivo tales como el área de yoga, meditación, danzaterapia, masajes, áreas húmedas y además dispone de servicios adicionales como alojamiento y restaurante. El área de intervención del proyecto es de 740 metros cuadrados donde se distribuyen todos estos espacios para cumplir con las necesidades del usuario. El centro de relajación está localizado en un sector residencial rodeado de áreas verdes que brindan paz y tranquilidad al ambiente, favoreciendo así al proyecto.
En cuanto al concepto se eligió el símbolo OM, que representa la esencia del lugar por su significado y la paz que transmite al ser vocalizado. Se abstrajo sus formas curvas y rectas que lograron crear un diseño orgánico y lineal que brindan sensaciones acogedoras y relajantes para el usuario. De igual manera, la cromática utilizada es una paleta de colores naturales como el marrón, el verde y el azul que van en conjunto con materiales nobles como la madera y fuertes como el metal que hacen de los espacios, lugares elegantes acorde al estilo elegido, Neo Art Déco

Allowing in this way to control the line pressure without human intervention, in order to reduce the cost of operating the compressors and reducing the energy consumption generated by the operation of the compressors as they do not have automatic operation. By having an application that allows the manipulation of the events carried out by the compressors by maintenance personnel, it will allow centralizing the handling of the compressors in a simple way remotely.El presente proyecto se basa en la implementación de una aplicación Android (app) que permite controlar inalámbricamente un sistema de aire comprimido en una planta industrial. Permitiendo de esta manera controlar la presión de línea sin la intervención humana, con el objetivo de reducir el costo de operación de los compresores y reduciendo el consumo energético que se genera por la operación de los compresores al no tener un funcionamiento automático.
