    NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS CONTRIBUTION TO INCREASING THE TRANSPARENCY OF PUBLIC PROCUREMENT IN INDONESIA

    The aim of this paper is to examine the contribution of Indonesian Corruption Watch (ICW) and the Indonesian Procurement Association or Ikatan Ahli Pengadaaan Indonesia (IAPI) as non-profit organizations to increase the transparency in the public organizations' budgets utilization especially in the procurement of goods and services. In collaboration with the Non-Ministry Government Institutions (LPNK) in Indonesia called the Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah (LKPP), these non-profit organizations developed "opentender.net" websites to empower the public in monitoring and controlling public procurement by assessing the possibility of corruption. After explaining the background of non-profit contributions, we evaluate the contributions of the ICW and IAPI by using exploratory design to explore the shortcomings of the "opentender.net" website. The result shows that the website could not provide three information details namely the estimated price created by the tender bidders or Harga Perkiraan Sendiri (HPS), the exact amount of value stated in the contract and the market cost. Thus, it hampering the provision of evidence to provide reliable and valid proof of the corruption possibilities

    Purpose- This study aims to examine the relationship between endorser type and endorser-brand suitability on attitudes towards endorsers, attitudes towards brands, attitudes towards advertising, and purchase intentions. Design/methodology/approach- Data were collected through an online questionnaire of 180 participants. The data analysis techniques used were MANOVA and SEM (PLS). Findings- There are significant differences in attitudes towards endorsers, brands, and advertisements from differences in endorser-brand suitability. There was no significant effect of using endorsers with celebrity types and Instagram influencers on attitudes towards endorsers, brands, and advertisements. Attitudes towards endorsers and brands have a positive effect on purchase intentions. Implication- Companies should pay attention and conduct in-depth research on endorsers that match the brand image. B2C marketers must identify and engage professionally with celebrities or influencers who are popular with consumers. Keywords: Endorser, endorser-brand compatibility

    FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMENGARUHI SIKAP DAN MINAT PEMBELIAN MILENIAL TERHADAP ASURANSI JIWA

    Purpose- This research purpose is to identify factors that influence attitudes and millenial’s purchase intention toward life insurance by focusing on the areas of financial literacy, perceived trust, and demographics. Design/methodology/approach- The research method is quantitative and questionnaires were collected and processed using variance-based structural equation modeling (SEM). Findings- The results showed that financial literacy, perceived trust, and demographics had a significant and positive influence on millennial attitudes and interests. The perceived trust turns out to act as the strongest predictor in predicting attitudes towards life insurance. Implications- The implications of research with a simple model and research instruments that do not involve interviews limit the scope of the research and generalization of findings.     Purpose- The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of leadership style, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on employee performance Design/methodology/approach- The type of research is the Assosiative, the location of the research at the Social Service of East Lombok Regency, the sampling technique is accidental sampling based on convenience with a sample of 40 employees. The data used are primary data through questionnaires containing respondents' answers. The collected questionnaires were analyzed by descriptive analysis and then analyzed using the SPSS program. Findings- Descriptive analysis results show that the performance of employees is classified as very high. While the leadership style is high, organizational commitment and job satisfaction are high. The results of testing the research hypothesis show both simultaneously and partially that leadership style, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction significantly influence the performance of East Lombok Regency Social Service employees Implications- Organizations need to increase the effectiveness of leaders through periodic leadership training involving leaders at the middle level.     Purpose- The purpose of this study was to determine the determinant factors of employee engagement in insurance companies. Design/methodology/approach- The population of the study amounted to 285 people with techniques to determine the number of samples using a purposive sampling technique of 109 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires with the analysis method used Smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Findings- Based on the analysis found that management style has a positive effect on employee engagement, remuneration, the opportunity for skill enhancement, and the work environment does not affect employee engagement. Limitation- The study has several limitations, namely the scope of the study is still small so the number of samples used is small, as a result, the results of this the study can not be generalized, and the number of independent variables used in this study is only 4 variables, while many factors affect employee engagement.     ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS, KONTRIBUSI, DAN POTENSI PENERIMAAN PAJAK PARKIR DI KABUPATEN BANYUWANGI

    Purpose- This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness, contributions, and potential of parking tax revenues in the Banyuwangi Regency.Design/methodology/approach- The research method uses quantitative descriptive, which is in the form of an explanation of the results of calculations related to the effectiveness, contributions, and potential parking tax revenue. Findings- This research results in finding that for effectiveness at 87.80% it is in the quite effective category, a contribution of 0.65% in the criteria is very less. For potential, it resulted in a finding of Rp 1,049,932,800, which is above the realization of only Rp790,236,000, or in other words that the realization of parking tax revenues is only 75.26% of the potential revenue in the three districts.Implications-The results of this study concluded that the potential for parking tax revenues obtained from three districts is greater than the total realization of parking tax revenues in the Banyuwangi Regency. Therefore, the Banyuwangi Regency Government needs to find the right strategy in maximizing the potential of parking tax revenues, as well as finding the right formula in increasing the effectiveness and contribution of parking tax revenues to local taxes.     PENGEMBANGAN THEORY OF PLANNED BEHAVIOR PADA KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN GREEN PRODUCT

    Purpose- This study aims to develop Theory of planned behavior. In this study added the variable Perceive Value (Gren value and Functional value) on the proposed model. Design/methodology/approach- this study was conducted with a survey of male consumers who use skincare. 200 samples were taken by purposive sampling. The analysis technique used is SEM smart PLS. Findings- The results of this study, of the 6 hypotheses were accepted 5 hypotheses and 1 hypothesis was rejected. This result shows that the green value and functional value have a significant positive effect on attitude toward green products. Likewise with Functional Value. This variable has a significant positive effect on the intention to purchase green products. Perceive behavior control does not moderate the relationship between attitude toward green products and intention to purchase green products.     Purpose- This research is structured in order to measure the potential impact of human resources and natural resources potentiality on the socio-economic quality of life index in the Citarum River Basin area, as well as constructing its impact on the formulation of the strategy of a social life reconciliation program that stirs regional economic development. Design/methodology/approach- This research uses a field research method with a qualitative approach, in which data collection and data processing techniques using the technique triangulation and source triangulation. Findings-The results showed several findings, first, the potential of HR is quite low which correlates with the decline in the quality of socioeconomic life. Second, the availability of natural resources has the potential to support regional economic development. Third, there are obstacles in the regional management system, at any various levels, i.e. individual, organizational, and government institution level. Fourth, tourism-based area revitalization is the key strategy for regional economic development. The revitalization of tourism-based zones, supported by the historical, cultural, and natural potentiality, is a key recommendation point for stakeholders, both at the local, provincial, and central levels.     PENGARUH CAREER MANAGEMENT TERHADAP TURNOVER INTENTION DENGAN CAREER SATISFACTION SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI

    Purpose- This study aims to examine the effect of career management on turnover intention through career satisfaction as a mediating variable. Design/methodology/approach- The design of this study uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this research is one of the branch offices of the National Bank Company domiciled in East Java Province. Data obtained using a questionnaire. The sampling technique used is total sampling (a sample that represents the population) as many as 35 employees. Findings- Based on an analysis using SEM (PLS), the results show that career satisfaction is able to fully mediate the relationship between career management and turnover intention.  Implication- Turnover intention can be minimized through increased satisfaction at a given career path. In addition, the company's efforts are through long-term career management planning so that employees can predict their career in the company in the future.     ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI AUDITOR SWITCHING PADA PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR

    Purpose- This study aims to determine the factors that influence auditor switching in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2013-2017 period. Design/methodology/approach- The population in this study were all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013 to 2017. The sample in this study was 188 companies, observations were obtained by purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis. Findings- The results showed that the variables of the audit opinion, public ownership, financial difficulties, and audit fees did not significantly influence the sample of companies to conduct auditor switching. Implications- The implication of the study results show that audit opinion, public ownership, financial distress, and audit fees are not determinants of audit switching so the explanation of the basis for audit dependency still needs to be reclassified through other factors. Subsequent research needs to expand the study area to other sectors and add periods of observation to obtain more comprehensive results.
