    Meningkatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi informasi akan meningkatkan kebutuhan sarana untukmengumpulkan, mengolah, dan menyebarluaskan informasi yang didapat. Sarana yang dapatmenunjang kegiatan tersebut adalah perpustakaan, karena diperpustakaan terdapat berbagai macaminformasi, oleh sebab itu akan dilakukan penelitian dengan judul “Kontribusi Bimbingan PemakaiPepustakaan terhadap Penelusuran informasi di Perpustakaan Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Tujuanpenelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman pemakai, tentang pemanfaatan koleksi koleksisetelah mengikiti bimbingan pemakai perpustakaan, dan mengetahui ketrampilan pemakai dalammenelusur informasi setelah mengikuti bimbingan pemakai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalahmotode deskriptif sedangka teknik pengumpul data dilakukan melalui observasi, kuisioner,wawancara, dan studi kepustakaan. Berdasarkan wawancara dengan staf perpustakaan polinelamenunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang pernah mengikuti bimbingan pemakai berjumlah 800 orang.Oleh karena itu besaran sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah 10% dari 800 orang menjadi80 orang. Akan tetapi dari data tersebut belum bias diketahui sebenarnya bagaimana pemahamanpemakai tentang pemanfaatan koleksi perpustakaan setelah mengikuti bimbingan pemakai cukup baikdan trampil, dalam arti pemakai menemukan informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam waktu yang relatifcepat.     Pengembangan Media Promosi Berbasis Web Sebagai Optimasi Usaha Kopi di Desa Kalisari Natar Lampung

    Coffee, specifically fine Robusta Lampung, is the superior commodity which is cultivated and produced by farmers in West Lampung. Ground coffee with fine quality is one of the product that can be derived from coffee bean and can be sold to the wide range of market. The farmer group in Kertasari Village, Natar, namely The Sido Maju group, establish the partnership with farmers from West Lampung and Oku in order to fulfill the needs of the coffee bean as the raw material to produce ground coffee under the “Kopi Tenant” brand. The marketing of this ground coffee, however, still has several limitations such as the narrow marketing scope, poor marketing and promotion, and it has not submitted as an intellectual property. Therefore, to overcome those limitations, several works to assist The Sido Maju group can be done, such as (1) implementing web-based and online marketing which can be managed by the group, (2) Providing documents assistance for “Kopi Tenant”, (3) analyzing the “Kopi Tenant” chemical composition so that it can be promoted as a coffee with functional properties that can give health benefits, and (4) providing the post-harvest practices assistance according to SNI 2907-2020. Counseling and training on how to register their brand as an intellectual property, the post-harvest practices (according to SNI 2907-2020), and the demonstration on how to use and manage the web- based market and online media was provided to 14 members of Sido Maju Group. Finally, The conclusion of the implementation of Community Service is that the use of the website as a promotional media can increase sales of the "Sido Maju" business group adjusted to the coffee product produced, namely Tenant Cofffee with the link https://tenant-coffee.id/. Besides being able to increase sales, this website is also expected to expand the reach of consumers, where currently consumers of the "Sido Maju" business group are still only in local areas

    MODIFIKASI DRIP IRRIGATION UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PRAKTIKUM BUDIDAYA TANAMAN HIAS

    In reference to the competence of vocational institutions, lecturers, educational laboratory staff (PLP), and students are expected to be able to make their own equipment or appropriate supporting equipment. An educational laboratory as a place to provide practicum equipment and adequate supporting equipment to make it happen. Even for the continuity of a practicum, sometimes a student, lecturer or PLP sometimes has to make the necessary supporting equipment themselves. Equipment or innovations that are designed must be packaged in an attractive form as a product prototype. Both for a study, as well as practicum tools in the laboratory. The purpose of this study was to modify drip irrigation to increase the practicum competence of ornamental plant cultivation. This research was carried out at the Net House near the Plant Laboratory III of the Lampung State Polytechnic from April to October 2022. The tools used in the experiment were mechanical pumps, portable and writing instruments. Materials for making drip irrigation plastic drums, 1 inch dia PVC pipe, ¾ inch dia pvc pipe, 18 mm dia PE pipe, 5/8 inch plastic hose, 5 mm diameter plastic hose, ¾ dia faucet, fertilizer tank, Y filter, drip tape emitters, cable terminals. The steps in modifying drip irrigation are selecting materials to be used as network components, selecting domestically produced materials that are cheap, easy to obtain and easy to work with, such as: plastic containers, 1 inch diameter PVC pipe, ¾ inch diameter PVC pipe, pipe PE dia 18 mm, plastic hose dia 5/8 inch, plastic hose dia 5 mm, faucet dia ¾, fertilizer tank, Y filter, emitter drip tape, cable terminals. To get quality ornamental plants can be improved by making various efforts such as using proper irrigation systems and good plant growth media. The drip irrigation system is the most efficient irrigation system. The efficiency of using water in drip irrigation systems can reach 80% to 95% due to the application of water directly to the root area regularly and slowly.     The hydroponic system in a greenhouse for cauliflower cultivation can be a solution to the problem of conventional cultivation, but its  needed for the cultivars that are most suitable for hydroponic systems, especially the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) system. This study aims to (1) evaluate the growth and production yields of several cultivars of cauliflower in the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic system, (2) the best cultivar for cultivation of NFT hydroponic method. This study used a lowland cauliflower cultivars, namely PM 126, Mona, Diamond 40, Orient, and Pertiwi with 5 times. The data obtained from each observation variable were analyzed by means of analysis of variance which was carried out with a follow-up test with Honest Significant Differences (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that cauliflower cultivars had different growth responses to the NFT system. Pertiwi cultivar had the best plant height compared to other cultivars, while the variables of leaf width, leaf length, time of flower emergence, flower weight, flower diameter and root length between cultivars showed no significant difference. The cultivar that shows good production results and is suitable for NFT hydroponic systems is PM126

    Ekstraksi Kalium Pada Abu Kulit Pisang Dengan Variasi Rasio Solvent Dan Media Pemanas

    Banana peel is a material that can be used as a source of potassium for organic fertilizer. Potassium fertilizer has a role in increasing plant productivity. Bananas have the potential to be used as a source of alkali. In this study, potassium extraction was carried out using banana peel ash. The method used is the titration method. The variables studied are variations in the type of solvent. The solvent used is distilled water, with a ratio of 1:6 and 1:8. The resulting extraction still contains residual solvent. The extraction process was carried out at 70°C for 2-3 hours, and then every 20 minutes the extract was taken for titration. The results of this study found that the total mass of potassium obtained was greatest with an F/V composition of 1:8 using a microwave heat medium of 7.21 grams (absorbed K level of 15.21%). In the titration method using a microwave heater, it is considered more capable of increasing the value of absorbed K levels in the extraction of potassium from banana peels compared to heating media heaters. Quantitatively, extraction using microwave heat media increases efficiency by 11–68% compared to heater media. Increasing the F/V ratio from 1:6 to 1:8 quantitatively also increases the absorbed K level by 38.4%.Kulit pisang merupakan bahan yang dapat digunakan sebagai sumber kalium untuk pupuk organik. Pupuk kalium mempunyai peranan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman. Pisang berpotensi dijadikan sebagai sumber alkali. Dalam penelitian ini, ekstraksi kalium dilakukan dengan menggunakan abu kulit pisang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode titrasi.Variabel yang diteliti adalah variasi jenis solvent. Penggunaan solvent yang digunakan adalah aquadest dengan perbandingan 1:6 dan 1:8. Ekstraksi yang dihasilkan masih mengandung sisa solvent. Proses ekstraksi dilakukan pada suhu 70°C selama 2-3 jam lalu setiap 20 menit diambil ekstraknya untuk dilakukan titrasi. Hasilnya pada penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa total massa kalium yang didapat paling besar adalah dengan komposisi F/V 1:8 dengan menggunakan media panas microwave sebesar 7,21 gram (kadar K terserap sebesar 15,21%).  Pada metode titrasi menggunakan pemanas microwave dinilai lebih mampu untuk meningkatkan nilai kadar K terserap pada ekstraksi kalium pada kulit pisang dibandingkan dengan media pemanas heater. Secara kuantitatif, ekstraksi menggunakan media panas microwave meningkatkan efisiensi sebesar 11-68% dibandingkan media pemanas heater. Peningkatan rasio F/V dari 1:6 ke 1:8 secara kuantitatif juga meningkatkan kadar K yang terserap sebanyak 38,4%

    Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is an important plantation commodity as the main raw material for producing sugar consumed in Indonesia. One of the varieties cultivated is VMC 86-550, but one of the technical obstacles to its cultivation is the slow and non-uniform growth of the seeds. Therefore, one effort to maximize the growth of budset seed varieties requires proper nutrition and contains growth-promoting hormones. Therefore, this study aims to determine the response of giving liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from cow urine to the growth of VMC 86-550 sugarcane seedlings using the budset method. To find out the purpose, this study used a factorial randomized block design with a concentration factor of LOF of cow urine consisting of five levels (0%, 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25%). The second factor is the application frequency which consists of once every 2 weeks and once every 4 weeks, so there were 10 treatments and repeated three times. This study used a completely randomized factorial design and was analyzed using ANOVA if there was a significant influence followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% level using SPSS 20 software. Observation variables included plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, number of tillers, and root length of sugarcane seedlings up to 90 HST.     Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Rimpang Jahe Merah (Zingiber officinale, Rosc.) Varietas Jahira 1 dengan Pemberian Arang Sekam: Growth and Yield of Red Ginger Rhizome (Zingiber officinale, Rosc.) Variety Jahira 1 with The Application of Husk Charcoal

    This research aims to assess the impact of rice husk charcoal application on the growth and yield, as well as to determine the optimal dosage of rice husk charcoal for enhancing the growth and yield of red ginger rhizomes (Zingiber officinale, Rosc.) variety Jahira 1. The experiment was conducted in Ciruluk Village, Kalijati District, Subang Regency, from June to September 2022. The study utilized an experimental method with a randomized block design consisting of four replications and six treatments of rice husk charcoal dosage. The treatments included: P0 = 0 ton/ha, P1 = 2.5 ton/ha, P2 = 5 ton/ha, P3 = 7.5 ton/ha, P4 = 10 ton/ha, and P5 = 12.5 ton/ha. The results of the study indicate that the application of rice husk charcoal significantly affects the growth of red ginger plants (Zingiber officinale, Rosc.) variety Jahira 1. The dosage of 10 ton/ha of rice husk charcoal resulted in the tallest plants at the observation of 4 weeks after planting (WAP), while doses of 5 and 7.5 ton/ha provided the best results at 8 WAP. Treatments P2 (5 ton/ha), P3 (7.5 ton/ha), P4 (10 ton/ha), and P5 (12.5 ton/ha) yielded the best results at 12 WAP. The application of rice husk charcoal also influenced the leaf count, where the dosage of 5 ton/ha (P2) yielded the best results at 4 WAP, while doses of 5 and 7.5 ton/ha (P2 and P3) provided the best results at 8 WAP. The application of 7.5 ton/ha (P3) resulted in the highest number of shoots at 12 WAP. The application of rice husk charcoal did not have a significant effect on leaf length, rhizome weight per plant, and rhizome weight per plot.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dampak dari pemberian arang sekam terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil serta menentukan dosis arang sekam yang optimal untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil rimpang jahe merah varietas Jahira 1. Eksperimen dilakukan di Desa Ciruluk Kecamatan Kalijati Kabupaten Subang dari bulan Juni hingga September 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak kelompok yang terdiri dari empat ulangan dan enam perlakuan dosis arang sekam. Perlakuan dosis arang sekam meliputi: P0 = 0 ton/ha, P1 = 2,5 ton/ha, P2 = 5 ton/ha, P3 = 7,5 ton/ha, P4 = 10 ton/ha, dan P5 = 12,5 ton/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahw pemberian arang sekam memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman jahe merah varietas Jahira 1; Dosis 10 ton/ha arang sekam menghasilkan tinggi tanaman tertinggi pada pengamatan 4 MST, sedangkan dosis 5 dan 7,5 ton/ha memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan 8 MST. P2 (5 ton/ha), P3 (7,5 ton/ha), P4 (10 ton/ha), dan P5 (12,5 ton/ha) memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan 12 MST; Pemberian arang sekam juga berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun, di mana dosis 5 ton/ha (P2) memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan 4 MST, sedangkan dosis 5 dan 7,5 ton/ha (P2 dan P3) memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan 8 MST. Pemberian 7,5 ton/ha (P3) memberikan hasil terbaik pada pengamatan 12 MST. Perlakuan dengan dosis 7,5 ton/ha (P3) menghasilkan jumlah anakan terbanyak pada pengamatan 12 MST. Pemberian arang sekam tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap panjang daun, berat rimpang per tanaman, dan berat rimpang per plot

    Tepung porang dari umbi porang (Amorphophallus muelleri blume) memiliki kandungan serat pangan larut yang strukturnya mirip dengan pectin atau disebut juga glukomanan dengan kandungannya sebanyak 67%. Menurut salah satu petani porang di lampung selatan menyebutkan bahwa ekspor porang di berhentikan karena kualitas porang di Indonesia kurang baik. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini memanfaatkan porang untuk diambil tepungnya guna bahan campuran kerupuk ikan lele. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik kerupuk ikan lele baik secara sensori maupun proksimat. hasil yang telah dicapai pada penelitian ini pengolahan kerupuk ikan lele dengan penambahan bahan dasar tepung porang diuji dengan parameter organoleptik dan proksimat yaitu : Uji proksimat sampel kontrol pada kadar air 9,3865, kadar abu 6,0316, lemak 0,3452, protein 3,5992, serat kasar 1,2993, dan karbohidrat 80,6374 dan pada sampel produk kadar air 10,3687, kadar abu 5,7409, lemak 0,4752, protein 4,7991, serat kasar 1,5307, dan karbohidrat 78,6252. Uji organoleptik sampel kontrol warna rata-rata 2,3=23 penilaian panelis biasa sedangkan sampel produk warna 2,8=28 penilaian panelis suka, sampel kontrol aroma rata-rata 2,2=22 penilaian panelis biasa sedangkan sampel produk aroma 2,8=28 penilaian panelis suka, sampel kontrol tekstur rata-rata 2,3=23 penilaian panelis biasa, sedangkan sampel produk tekstur 2,9=29 penilaian panelis suka, sampel kontrol rasa rata-rata 2,3=23 penilaian panelis biasa, sedangkan sampel produk rasa 3=30 penilaian panelis suka. &nbsp

    A Analisis Mutu dan Finansial Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) Dengan Metode Fermentasi Saccharomyces Cerevisiae

    Coconut meat is the part that is mostly processed into coconut milk, occult oil, and copra. Downstream processing, such as VCO, is an opportunity to increase the economic value of coconut farmers. VCO contains lots of unsaturated fatty acids and antioxidants, which are good for body health. This study aims to determine the quality and antioxidant activity of VCO and its economic feasibility as a business. This research was carried out in two stages, namely the manufacture of VCO by fermentation using the addition of starter Saccharomyces cerevisiae in amounts of 1 gram, 2 grams, and 3 grams. Then the yield was calculated and tested for antioxidant activity, organoleptic color, taste, and aroma. Then the second stage is calculated financially for the VCO business. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The results of the research conducted show that the production of virgin coconut oil (VCO) is enough to be used as a business; it will reach the BEP when it has sold 13 bottles or earned as much as IDR 312,918. For every rupiah spent, a sales profit of 4.79 will be obtained, with a profit per unit of production of IDR 1,187,082, so this VCO business is feasible to develop. The VCO fermentation, according to SNI 7381:2008, is the addition of 1, 2, and 3 grams of baker's yeast. But the high yield and aroma are found in the addition of 2 grams of yeast.Daging buah kelapa merupakan bagian yang paling banyak diolah menjadi santan, minyak klentik, dan kopra. Pengolahan hilir seperti VCO menjadi peluang dalam peningkatan nilai ekonomi petani kelapa. VCO banyak mengandung asam lemak tidak jenuh dan antioksidan yang baik untuk kesehatan tubuh. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui mutu dan aktifitas antioksidan dari VCO serta melihat kelayakan ekonomi untuk dijadikan usaha. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan 2 tahap yaitu pembuatan VCO secara fermentasi menggunakan penambahan starter Saccharomyces cerevisiae sebanyak 1 gram, 2 gram, dan 3 gram. Kemudian dihitung rendemen, dan pengujian aktifitas antioksidan, organoleptik warna, rasa, dan aroma. Kemudian tahap kedua dihitung fnansial dari usaha VCO. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis secara Deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Produksi minyak kelapa murni (VCO) menguntungkan untuk dijadikan usaha, akan mencapai BEP ketika sudah menjual 13 botol atau mendapatkan sebanyak Rp 312.918. Setiap rupiah yang dikeluarkan akan diperoleh hasil penjualan sebesar 4,79 dengan keuntungan per satu kali produksi Rp 1.187.082, sehingga usaha VCO ini layak untuk dikembangkan.     ANALISIS NILAI TAMBAH, PENDAPATAN, DAN BAURAN PEMASARAN KOPI PADA AGROINDUSTRI KOPI BUBUK KLANGENAN PRINGSEWU

    This research aims to analyze added value of coffee, income, and marketing mix of coffee in Agroindustry of Coffee Powder Klangenan Pringsewu. This research was conducted in Agroindustry of Klangenan Coffee Powder Pringsewu. This study uses a case study method, with sampling technique are purposive sampling and accidental sampling. Respondents in this research were divide into two, owner of agroindustry and consumer as many as 30 respondents. This study used Hayami’s value added analysis method, R/C total cost, and 7P marketing mix. Data of this research were collected in January 2021 until March 2021. The results show that the added value to the agroindustry was positive, which means that it is feasible to be cultivated and developed, and is included in the labor intensive category. The income of the agroindustry has a revenue ratio (R/C) for the total cost of more than one, which means that the coffee of agroindustry business is profitable and feasible to run. The marketing strategy of agroindustry has implemented the 7P marketing mix component, which the product, place, price, process, people, and physical evidence, where only the promotion component has not been used optimally, and must be developed and considered again.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai tambah kopi, pendapatan dan bauran pemasaran kopi pada Agroindustri Kopi Bubuk Klangenan Pringsewu.  Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Agroindustri Kopi Bubuk Klangenan Pringsewu, Kabupaten Pringsewu.  Metode penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling dan accidental sampling.  Responden dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu pemilik agroindustri dan responden konsumen sebanyak 30 orang responden.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis nilai tambah Hayami, R/C atas biaya total, dan bauran pemasaran 7P.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2021 hingga Maret 2021.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai tambah pada agroindustri bernilai positif yang berarti layak diusahakan dan dikembangkan, serta termasuk ke dalam padat karya.  Pendapatan pada agorindustri memperoleh nilai nisbah penerimaan (R/C) atas biaya total lebih dari satu, yang artinya usaha agroindustri kopi menguntungkan dan layak untuk dijalankan.  Strategi pemasaran pada agroindustri sudah menerapkan komponen bauran pemasaran 7P, yaitu product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, dan process, dimana hanya komponen promosi yang belum diterapkan secara optimal dan harus dikembangkan dan diperhatikan lagi.   Kata kunci: Agroindustri, bauran pemasaran, kopi, nilai tambah, pendapata
