    Konseling Individual Menggunakan Teknik WDEP untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Belajar Siswa

    Learning skills are very important in learning, because with learning skills students can learn well and get maximum results. Learning skills as an asset in improving the quality of student learning. This study uses an action research method to provide an overview of the solution to the problem of low student learning skills in vocational high schools. Students are able to improve their learning skills through the technique WDEP System. This technique of WDEP improving can raise awareness of the important learning skills by conducting self-evaluations by exploring and assessing student behaviors, especially irresponsible behavior that results in low learning skills. After knowing and assessing their behavior, students together with the supervising teacher make plans for more responsible future behavior, in which there is a commitment between the supervising teacher and students. With this commitment, students are required to be responsible for the plans they have made. This will certainly help students improve their learning skills by emphasizing their responsibilities as students

    Efektivitas Pembelajaran Biologi Berbasis Video Animasi terhadap Prestasi Akademik Siswa Kelas X SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan media video animasi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 2 Sungai Penuh. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental one group pre-test post-test, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 siswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes pre-test dan post-test, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji-t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada skor rata-rata siswa dari 65.2 pada pre-test menjadi 82.7 pada post-test, dengan nilai t sebesar -9.43 dan p < 0.001, yang menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan. Uji prasyarat yang mencakup uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas juga memenuhi asumsi distribusi normal dan homogenitas variansi data. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa media video animasi efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi siswa. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pendidik dalam mengimplementasikan teknologi visual dalam pembelajaran sains, khususnya pada konsep-konsep biologi yang komplek

    Dalam rangka meningkatkan nilai tambah ikan air tawar, yang menjadi salah satu komoditi besar di Kecamatan Rao dan Rao Selatan, Kabupaten Pasaman, perlu dilakukan hilirisasi produk. Sehingga diciptakan sebuah inovasi produk yang meningkatkan nilai ikan tersebut. Nilai tambah perlu ditingkatkan untuk menambah nilai jual dari sebuah produk. Sehingga pendapatan masyarakan menjadi meningkat. Berdasarkan analisis dilapangan terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi minat konsumen membeli produk olahan ikan yang diproduksi oleh UMKM di Kecamatan Rao dan Rao Selatan, diantaranya faktor kepercayaan dan kualitas yang dirasakan (perceived quality).     Career guidance of vocational school teacher

    This paper aims to explain the results of research on teacher career guidance conducted by the principal of vocational school. As for the indicators are 1) providing motivation 2) implementing job rotation 3) opportunity to participate in training/upgrading 4) opportunity to continue education. The study population numbered 75 teachers at Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan 3 Padang. Samples were taken using stratified random sampling technique, so that a sample of 54 respondents were obtained. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire compiled in the form of a Likert Scale model and tested for validity using the formula of the hierarchical correlation and reliability test using the alpha formula. The index of validity and reliability is significant at 95% confidence level. Analysis of data research using the average formula. The results of data analysis of the research show that the average teacher career guidance by the principal with a score of 3.50, which means that it is in the category quite good. With this it can be concluded that career guidance by the principal is still not optimal yet. So it needs a more effort from the principal so that the teacher's career guidance takes place as expected

    Efektivitas Video Infografis dalam Pembelajaran Sistem Pencernaan Manusia di MAN 1 Sungai Penuh

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas video infografis dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi keanekaragaman hayati di MAN 1 Sungai Penuh. Menggunakan desain eksperimen semu dengan model Nonequivalent Control Group Design, penelitian ini melibatkan 60 siswa yang dibagi ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (menggunakan video infografis) dan kelompok kontrol (menggunakan PowerPoint). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol, dengan persentase ketuntasan mencapai 92% pada kelompok eksperimen dan 52,5% pada kelompok kontrol. Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok, dengan nilai effect size sebesar 1,695, mengindikasikan pengaruh besar. Temuan ini mendukung bahwa video infografis adalah media pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep biologi yang kompleks. Disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan sampel yang lebih besar guna memastikan generalisasi temuan dan mengeksplorasi pengaruhnya dalam konteks pembelajaran yang berbed

    The problem in this research is the development of technology such as computers and the internet is not used for learning purposes but for things that are not important such as social media and games, the lack of habit of using technology such as computers to support the learning process results in the emergence of computer anxiety (doubt in using computers. from the doubt of using this computer, the motivation of students to use computers effectively will decrease and the learning environment does not support the sustainability of the learning process by utilizing technology to the maximum, then the lack of motivation of students in doing school work using existing technology and the lack of the role of teachers or parents in control the use of technology by students so that technological development is not utilized for the benefit of learning. The purpose of research is to know the learning environment that contributes to the ability n technology literacy of students. This research uses correlational quantitative research. Based on the results of the study it was found that there was a positive and significant contribution to the learning environment towards the ability of students' technology literacy with a contribution percentage of 64.5%

    The Development of Homosexual Tendencies's Inventory

    Homosexuality is a controversial issue. In general, Indonesian society rejects the existence of homosexuals because they are not in accordance with the prevailing values and norms and are the cause of HIV / AIDS so that it not only endangers individuals and the perpetrators but can also destroy the fabric of society. This is the basis for the need for an instrument to identify a person's sexual orientation. More often than not, homosexual identification tools have been developed abroad so that they are not suitable for the context of Indonesian society. This study aims to develop an instrument capable of measuring the level of a person's homosexual tendency. The research method used follows the steps of developing Gall, Gall, and Borg's model. The research sample used was 265 students. Initially this instrument consisted of 28 items which were analyzed using the IRT approach. The results indicated that the inventory of homosexual tendencies was valid and reliable, totaling 26 items. Thus this instrument can be used to identify levels of homosexual tendencie

    Rasch Analysis: Students' Mathematics Anxiety and Symptoms

    Ideally students follow mathematics learning effectively without any disturbance. But the phenomenon that is happening is that there are students who experience anxiety about mathematics, which causes students to not be able to follow mathematics learning effectively. The purpose of this study is to describe the level of mathematics anxiety experienced by students as a whole and also based on the aspects studied. This study involved 32 students in class XII consisting of 18 female students and 14 male students. The instrument  used in this research in the form of a questionnaire containing statements about mathematical anxiety equipped with a Likert scale model. Data analysis using frequency distribution techniques and Rasch Model analysis. The results of the analysis of research data indicate that some students experience mathematical anxiety. In addition, the results of data analysis also showed that there were differences in anxiety between female students and male students both overall and based on aspects of the mathematics anxiety studied

    Development of Group Counseling Guidelines for Student Self Control Improvement in Prevention of Drug Abuse

    The drug abuse in adolenscent circle, at Vocational High School,  is increasing significantly. The group of counceling service in a school is rarely used for preventing drug abuse. Most of the group counceling is used for solving about some problems, such as learning, personal, social, and career problem. This study is aimed to procude a simple, valid, and efective guidlines for the counceling group, to improve students self control in preventing drug abuse. This study is a development (Research and Development) with ADDIEmodel (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). TheSubjectof this study is the students at Vocational High School and the counceling teacher in school. The validity of this study is done by six experts who is related to this study and the guidlines display. The usability test is done by three of the counceling teacher. The data  analysis is descriptive and inferensial analysis with Koefisien Kendals statistic test. The study shows that: (1) The level of material suitability is very receivable with 93 percentage and guidlines display is also in proper category with 91 percentage, (2) The using of group counseling guidlines for improving students self control too prevent a drug abuse is in the best category with 87 percentage. It concludes that, this guidlines is proper to used by the counceling teacher and councelor as a tools in doing counceling in a counceling group as an effort to improve student self control in preventing a grud abuse

    Disciplinary Behavior and Exemplary Teacher as Influencing Factors

    This research is based on the phenomenon that is happening related to the relationship between teacher role models with disciplinary behavior and the influence of role models on student disciplinary behavior. This research is quantitative with descriptive correlational research. The sample in this study replaced 272 students who were determined through a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instruments used were the teacher’s exemplary questionnaire and student disciplinary behavior questionnaire. Besides that, the researcher also used a Likert scale model instrument with five alternative answers. Data analysis techniques using simple regression analysis. And the results of the study show the influence of teacher exemplary behavior on student disciplinary behavior at school
