    Improving student’s learning outcomes and student’s activity of social science (IPS) subject by using jigsaw learning model at class VIII B in SMPN 14 sijunjung

    This research aim to increase the learning on subject integrated and to increase the activities students’ results on subjects Integrated Social Science by using jigsaw learning model at B eigth class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung. This recearch used Action Recearch Approach. The subject of recearch was the students of B eigth class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung. The procedure of Action Recearch Approach concisted of three cycles in which each of it concisted of four stages: planning, action/implementation, observation, and reflection. The recearch instrumens were observation sheets, notes worksheet, tesis and dokumentation.  The data validity check was done by discussing with the expert of observers and corrector. The data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.The result of the of recearch found that 1) the students result had increased which could be seen from the average score of examination after cycle that were cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. This score had reached the expected indicators, that is or reached the criteria. 2) The learning activitiese of the B eight class studens on subjects Integrated Social Science by using jigsaw learning model had increased that was the activities score of cycle, cycle II, and cycle III. Based on the finding of the research it was concluded that the use of jigsaw learning model could increase the activities and the learning results of the students at B eight class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung on subjects Integrated Social Science

    Increasing skill reading intensive and character of classes III SDN 57 air dingin using cooperative learning model circ

    Based on the observations in class III SDN Air Dingin, found the intensive reading skill of third grade students low. For that, it needs improvement to help students in reading intensively with the correct reading stage. This study aims to describe the process and the results of intensive reading skills and character of third grade students. The type of research is Classroom Action Research using cooperative learning model of CIRC type. Based on the results of the research, the use of cooperative learning model of CIRC type in intensive reading skill learning has proven to improve the process of intensive reading skill and student character. The increase in the average learning outcomes is, in the first cycle at the pre reading stage of 71.87%, the stage when reading 59.37%, 76.37% post reading stage and characteristic scoring 69.75%, confident 60.95% and well mannered 71.17%. In the second cycle, the students' intensive reading skill increased to 84.37% pre reading, reading 78.12% and post reading 83.12% and characteristic meticulous assessment 74.27%, 78.32% confident and 76.25% polite. Intensive reading using the CIRC approach has been shown to improve students' reading and character skills

    This research aimed to describe the influence of Problem Based Learning Model and Learning Motivation to Expository Text Writing Skills of Students Grade VII MTsN Bukittinggi. The type of research is quasi experiment and the design used is factorial design 2x2. Sampling is done by purposive sampling. Data analysis and discussion were conducted through descriptive-analysis. The analysis results of data were as follows. First, writing expository text taught using the Problem Based Learning model is better than students taught by conventional learning models. Second, Second, writing the expositional text of students who have high learning motivation taught by using Problem Based Learning model is better than those taught with conventional learning model. Third, writing the expositional text of students who have low learning motivation taught by using Problem Based Learning model is better than those taught with conventional learning model. Fourthly, there is no interaction between learning motivation and the learning model in influencing the ability to write expository text of students.     This study aimedat observing the effect of eksploration style and command styletoward volleyball basic skills achievement.  Type of the research wasquasi-experimental(Quasy experiment). The population of this study are high school students of Bukit Barisan class X and XI who follow extracurricular activities of volleyball at least eighty student, while the sample in this study is 20 male students using total sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a basic bolavoli skill test. Data were analyzed by using t-test (dependent sample and Independent sample) The results ofdata analysisshow that:(1) There are influences eksploration style which significantly to the volleyball basic skills in Students Senior High School Bukit Barisan  be obtained the value of t count = 5,61 > t table = 2,26, (2) There are influences command style which significantly to the volleyball basic skills in Students Senior High School Bukit Barisan be obtained the value of t count = 5,93 > t table = 2,26,(3) Eksploration style is more better than series of command style to the volleyball basic skills in Students Senior High School Bukit Barisan be obtained the value of t count = 1,99 > t table = 1,76. The usage exploration method is better than command methode.

    This research title is the development of integrated learning model of Islamic education subject (PAI) and student self control. The problem of the research is in the orientation of knowledge, the meaning of learning process is still less optimal which is characterized by the weakness of student character. The result of learning process and student study’s value do not success to internalize inside the student. PAI learning process in Madrasah Ibtidayah the method of Teacher Centered still dominates the school. PAI is presented in partial and it is should be not in holistic and integration. Developing research method with ADDIE consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Syntax model which is developed by ISLAMIC (Information, Synergy, Learning, Active, reminding Model, and Continue). By the instructional effect hoped that the student intelligent increasing and has strong spiritual religious, self control and well behavior. The nurturant effect from this research was the realization of learning process meaning. This integrated study is hoped that the students are able to link one topic to the other subjects. Characters value inside the material expected to be applied in students’ life later on. The result of analysis development model with Aiken validation book model, teacher book and student book showed that the product was valid. The product of book model practicality. Teacher book and student book resulted practical product. Product effectiveness increased the study result and students self control

    This research was based on the fail to buil the student character by scout activity. The purpose of this research is to analyze the management of scout activity in school. It used qualitative approach to analyse the management of scout activity in school.  It used qualitative approach to analyse, to organize, to execute and to supervise the management scout in school. The data collected from headmaster, vice headmaster, scoutmaster and students. Had been doing by obsevation, interview and documentations. It was also analyzed by data reduction technique, data sample and summarizing to determine the exact implementation for character building. The data was examined by triangular technique and source. The research showed that scout management in effort to build student character was done by school by formulating, deciding and developing character values in scout vision, mission, purpose and work plan. Yet it was not determined the duty and right of scout implementer approplated whith the competency so it has not been developing the attitude of sprituality, emotion, social, intelectuality and phisic of student. It happened because the headmaster had not executed the supervision and monitory, report and follow-up the work plan.     This article was written to describe the implementation of character education in the fourth grade of SDN 075043 OladanoIdanogawo Sub-district during the pre-writing, writing and post-writing stages. Based on the results of the research, the students' skill results are obtained at the following stages: 1) pre-writing with an average of 7.55 and 62.92% percentage included enough category, cycle II obtained an average of 9.45 with a percentage of 78.85% including good category. 2) Writing with an average of 7.65 and 63.0% percentage including enough category. Cycle II average of 9.45 with percentage of 79% including good category. 3) Post-Writings obtained an average of 8.15 with percentage of 68% including enough category, cycle II post-writing with average 9.65 with percentage of 80.4% including good category

    The Contribution of Perceptions about the Tasks toward the Performance of School Counselor

    The purposes of this study are to test the contribution of perceptions of school counselor about their task toward the performance of school counselor. This research used the quantitative approach with the descriptive-correlational method. The population was 303 school counselors and the sample consist of 169 people taken by Purposive Sampling technique. The instrument used was Performance of School Counselor Instrument with reliability score 0,861 and Perception about Tasks Instrument with reliability score 0,740. Data were analyzed using simple regression.     Contribution of headmaster instructional leadership and motivation to teacher work discipline

    The background of this research is still the low discipline of teacher work in SMP  V Koto Kampung Dalam Pariaman. It is not yet effective that the principal's instructional leadership and teacher work motivation are still low. The purpose of this research is to know the principal of principal's principal leadership and work motivation from teacher work discipline. Data by questionnaire with likert scale that has validity and reliability. Data were analyzed by correlation and regression technique.The results showed: 1) the principal's principal leadership contributed to the teacher's work discipline of 26.1%; 2) the work motivation contributed to the teacher's work discipline of 23.6% and 3) the principal's principal leadership and work motivation jointly contributed to discipline of teacher work by 36,5%. Based on descriptive analysis revision of headmaster leadership and work motivation and teacher work discipline are both in good enough category of ideal score

Based on this, the role of guidance and counseling is expected to meet the learning needs of students. One model that can be done to improve questioning skills is to provide content mastery services. Content mastery services help students, groups or classes to master a particular skill or competency consisting of 5 stages: the delivery, exploration, interpretation, coaching and assessment phases. With this content mastery service, it is hoped to improve the students' skills inquiring.
