THE DEVELOPMENT OF PRACTICUM PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT INSTRUMENT TEMPERATURE AND HEAT CLASS X HIGH SCHOOL

The purpose of this study is to develop a practical performance assessment instrument of temperature and heat the material in class X SMA. The sample was taken by using stratified random sampling method. Conceptually construct of performance assessments at temperature and heat the material consists of three dimensions, namely: preparation, implementation and follow-up. Development of point statement on assessment component based on the study experts and panelists. Through study and validation expert panelists chosen 10 points or indicators. Reliability coefficients interater value is quite high above 0.7. Instruments were tested students at SMA in class X, the first stage are 256 students and the second stage are 224 students. Empirically, by testing confirmatory factor analysis is obtained the values of loading factor is abave 0.5 in the first and second trials. From the calculation of the value of Construct Reliability (CR) on the first and second test showed that reliability coefficient value is more than 0.9, and the value of Variance Extracted (VE) is greater than 0.5 which means the level of validity and reliability of a practical performance assessment instruments of temperature and heat materials in class X SMA is high. So it can be concluded that the practicum performance assessment instrument temperature and heat the material has good construct validity and reliabilit

Application of Model Cooperative Learning Type Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) Combined Method of Exploring the Surrounding Environment to Improve Learning Outcomes Learners On Concept Plant Sub Concept Spermatophyta

This research aimed to improve student learning outcomes after participating in the biology learning process on Plant Sub Concept Spermatophyta concept by cooperative learning model of Student Team-Achievement Division (STAD) Combined Method of Exploring the Surrounding Environment. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Parung school year 2017/2018. The research method that was used is classroom action research (PTK) that was done two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, such as planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were students of class X IPA 5 which amounted to 37 people, consisting of 14 students were male and 23 female students. Multiple choice objective test that had been tested its validity and reliability used as research instrument.   The results of this research showed that the application of cooperative learning model Student Team-Achievement Division (STAD) Combined Method of Exploring the Surrounding Environment can improve the results of students biology learning. The average outcome of the students biology learning in cycle 1 is 70,5 became 75,3 in cycle 2. From 37 students, achievement of the KKM experienced increasing that was 24 student (65%) in cycle 1 to 27 students (75%) in cycle 2. This obviously showed that the results of students biology learning have experienced improving from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Thus, the cycle 2 had full the indicator results achievement (IPH), as a percentage of the class had achieved 75%

IMPROVING PHYSIC LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT ON DYNAMIC ROTATION THROUGH PROBLEM BASED LEARNING METHOD ON GRADE XI 3 SCIENCE PROGRAM AT CITEUREUP 1 SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL

The background of the action reasearch was the students’ low achievement in understanding dynamic rotation in grade XI 3 Science Program in the school year of 2015/2016. The achievement was only 12,5 %. The action research was aimed to improve the learning acvievement on the concept through  Problem Based Learning. The rersearch was conducted in two cycles. Every cycle was delivered in four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. A test was given on every cycle. The instrument of the test was validated by the expert.  The result of the research showed that PBL improve the student’s achievement. The pre research acvievement was around 12,5% with an average of 56,23. After the first cycles, the result showed 45,0% achievement with an average of 74,90. And the reasult on the second cycle showed 87,5 % achievemetn with an average of 87,50. Therefore, PBL improve the students achievemtn in understanding Dynamic Rotation concep
