Integration of Eye-Tracking Technology in Virtual Reality Applications for Basketball Training: A Mixed Methods Needs Assessment
Background: The integration of virtual reality (VR) and eye-tracking (ET) technologies has considerable potential to enhance perceptual–cognitive skill development in basketball. However, existing research provides limited guidance on the technical and pedagogical requirements for designing VR–ET systems that are both instructionally meaningful and aligned with user needs.
Aims: This study aims to identify key design requirements for VR–ET systems through a user-centered mixed-methods approach.
Methods: Semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions with coaches and lecturers were conducted to explore training challenges, expectations, and pedagogical considerations. Insights from the qualitative phase informed the development of a questionnaire administered to student-athletes (N = 120), enabling the validation and prioritization of system requirements. Qualitative data were analyzed thematically, and quantitative data were examined using descriptive statistics.
Results: The integrated findings revealed six essential domains for effective VR–ET system design: immersive tactical–technical visualization, interactive decision-making scenarios, gaze-based performance indicators, real-time visual feedback, learning support features, and implementation readiness. Users emphasized the value of VR–ET for enhancing tactical understanding, attentional control, and personalized training experiences.
Conclusion: This study contributes both theoretically and methodologically by addressing the lack of user-informed frameworks in VR–ET research and demonstrating the value of participatory mixed-methods approaches in sports technology development. The results provide a foundational design blueprint for future VR–ET prototypes and offer new insights into how immersive and gaze-based technologies can support athlete learning in team sports

Creative economic growth is part of policy steps to improve the economy, by making the basic source intellectual or ideas or creativity. Until the first quarter of 2024, Indonesia's creative economy sector achieved added value of IDR 749.58 trillion, or 55.65 percent of the target of IDR 1,347 trillion. One significant contributor to the creative economy is the art of music. Karakteristik Hidrokimia Airtanah Dangkal Dan Pemetaan Intrusi Air Laut Di Kelurahan Teluk Belitung, Kecamatan Merbau, Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti, Provinsi Riau
Teluk Belitung Village is located on the coast of Padang Island and is highly dependent on the existence of groundwater as a source of clean water used in daily life. However, shallow groundwater in residential areas that are relatively close to the sea has a brackish to salty taste, has an unpleasant odor and causes rust on cutlery. The purpose of this study were to determine the distribution and flow of shallow groundwater, map the quality of shallow groundwater, map the feasibility of shallow groundwater quality, determine the type and facies of shallow groundwater and map the level of seawater intrusion in the study area. The results of the measurement of physical-chemical parameters were compared with the Minister of Health Regulation No. 492 / MENKES / PER / IV / 2010 concerning drinking water quality standards. Based on the results of the study, the color of groundwater in the study area were clear (11%), cloudy (59%), yellow (6%), brownish yellow (6%), brown (6%) and reddish brown (6%). The taste of groundwater in the study area were tasteless (17%), brackish (66%) and salty (17%). TDS of groundwater in the research area ranges from 23.85 – 10,458 mg/L. DHL of groundwater ranges from 36.45 – 16,970 ?S/cm. pH of groundwater ranges from 6.86 – 7.45. Hardness of groundwater ranges from 15.8 – 1,410 mg/L. Na+ content of groundwater ranges from 3.77 – 1,861 mg/L. K+ content of groundwater ranges from 0.506 – 93.5 mg/L. Ca2+ content of groundwater ranges from 5.2 – 85.6 mg/L. Mg2+ content of groundwater ranges from 0.669 – 287 mg/L. Cl- content of groundwater ranges from 10 – 3,372 mg/L. CO3 2- content of groundwater 0 mg/L. The HCO3 - content of groundwater ranges from 0 to 817 mg/L. The SO4 2- content of groundwater ranges from 2.45 to 245 mg/L. According to Permenkes No. 492/ MENKES/ PER/IV/2010, from the results of physical and chemical parameter measurements, it can be seen that all groundwater samples do not meet the standard requirements so that the groundwater is categorized as unfit for consumption. The stiff diagram analysis obtained 3 types of groundwater in the research area, namely the Na-Cl type (88%), the Ca-Cl2 type (6%) and the Mg-Cl2 type (6%). The trilinear piper diagram analysis showed that there were 3 groups of groundwater facies in the research area, namely the Cl-+ SO4 2- - facies (29%), the Ca2+ (Mg2+) Cl- (SO4 2 ) facies (6%) and the Na+ (K+ ) Cl- (SO4 2- ) facies (65%). Analysis of the level of seawater intrusion shows that 2 stations (12%) have a small influence of salt water, 9 stations (53%) have a moderate influence of salt water, 3 stations (17%) have a fairly large influence of salt water, 2 stations (12%) have a large influence of salt water and 1 station (6%) has a very large influence of salt water
Respon Pertumbuhan Serta Produksi Terung Ungu (solanum Melongena L.) Terhadap Pemberian Poc Azolla Dan Tsp
The research that has been conducted with the aim of determining the Growth Response and Production of Purple Eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) to the Provision of Azolla POC and TSP. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University for 5 months starting from March 2023 to July 2023. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design consisting of two factors. The first factor is Azolla Liquid Organic fertilizer, consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 600, 1,200, 1,800 ml per polybag. The second factor is TSP fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 2.5, 5, 7.5 g per plant. So that 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications were obtained, so there were 48 experimental units. Each experimental unit/plot consists of 4 plants and 2 plants as observation samples, so that the total number is 192 polybags/plants. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant and number of remaining fruits per plant. Observation data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. Based on the study, it can be concluded that the best treatment is azolla liquid organic fertilizer 1,800 ml/polybag and TSP 7.5 g/plant. The effect of the interaction of azolla liquid organic fertilizer and TSP had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and number of remaining fruits. The best treatment was a combination of azolla liquid organic fertilizer doses of 1,800 ml/polybag and TSP 7.5 g/polybag. The main effect of azolla liquid organic fertilizer was significant on all observation parameters with the best dose of azolla liquid organic fertilizer 1,800 ml/polybag. Thus, the treatment of azolla liquid organic fertilizer and TSP had a significant effect on purple eggplant plants. Keywords: Azolla Liquid Organic Fertilizer, Purple Eggplant, TS
