No full textThe development of Andam Dewi Reclamation Beach tourism is one of the steps to further develop the existing potential so that it can be utilized optimally and according to local potential. If the facilities are fulfilled at Andam Dewi Reclamation Beach, it will have a positive impact, namely by attracting visitors to come because of the complete facilities that can provide services and comfort for tourists who come, this will increase the development of Andam Dewi Reclamation Beach. This study aims to determine the need for facilities that need to be developed to attract tourists so that from the need for these tourism facilities, it becomes a means that supports the needs of tourism activities and provides a sense of comfort for tourists in the Andam Dewi Reclamation Beach area, Bengkalis Regency. The approach in this study is deductive. This study is classified as a deductive approach because the researcher examines common problems based on testing a theory consisting of variables to determine the needs of tourism facilities for Andam Dewi Reclamation Beach Tourism in Bengkalis District. The method used in this study uses a quantitative analysis method through a Likert scale in processing data obtained from data collection techniques using questionnaires. Based on the needs of tourism facilities, level I of need for tourism facilities at Andam Dewi Reclamation Beach is the improvement of toilets or changing rooms with a percentage value of 89.00%. Visitors strongly agree with the improvement of toilets or changing rooms considering that many visitors complain about the poor cleanliness and comfort of the toilets. The toilets on this beach are often found in dirty conditions, with tissue paper or other trash scattered around the toilet area. This makes visitors feel uncomfortable and reluctant to use the toil

No full textDrainage in Rengat District has a mixed type of pavement, namely concrete and natural (from soil). Some of the drainage in Rengat District is already connected between networks, both from tertiary to secondary and primary networks, and from secondary to primary. The current state of drainage development still has several problems, including poor drainage maintenance management caused by drainage channels that are not cleaned routinely or are damaged and not immediately repaired, which can cause the drainage system to be ineffective in channeling water. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of drainage quality in Rengat District as an effort to increase the target of drainage in good condition according to the RTRW of Indragiri Hulu Regency. This study uses a deductive approach because the researcher examines common problems based on testing a theory consisting of variables to measure the level of drainage quality in Rengat District as well as an effort to increase the drainage target in good condition according to the RTRW of Indragiri Hulu Regency. The method used in this study uses a quantitative descriptive method through the calculation of the average (mean) of the Likert scale to identify the condition of drainage and drainage network services in Rengat District. Based on the analysis that the existing quality level of drainage in Rengat District is in good condition with a mean value of 2.86 and the percentage of damage is only 2.87% of the total length of drainage in Rengat District and is below (<15%) for the level of drainage quality parameters that have been set. The level of quality of drainage network services in Rengat District is at a fairly good quality level with a percentage value of 57.95%, this is obtained from the value of the level of management and institutional services at a fairly good service level with a percentage value of 46.28%, then from the value of the level of service the role of the community and the private sector is at a good service level with a percentage value of 62.70%, and from the value of the legal and regulatory aspects is at a good service level with a percentage value of 64.87%

No full textPelalawan Regency, one of the regencies in Riau Province, has a traditional dance that has existed since the establishment of the Royal Palace in Pelalawan Regency, namely around 1811-1945 until now. The problem studied in this study is how the existence of the Zapin Broke Dua Belas dance as a cultural identity in the Malay community in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. This study aims to determine how the existence of the Zapin Broke Dua Belas dance as a cultural identity, the theory used in this study uses the theory of existence according to Dagun (1990:19) in the book of philosophy of existence which states that everything that exists has an existence that is influenced by aspects of work activities, has facts, and efforts to maintain its existence. The researcher used a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach with the data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation, the subjects in this study were 3 people, namely experts and actors who preserved the Zapin Broke Dua Belas dance. The results of the study are that this dance functions as a welcome to the king's guests and as entertainment at the Royal Palace in Pelalawan with the number of dancers generally 6 to 12 people.However, currently the existence of the Zapin Pecah Duabelas Dance is an Intangible Cultural Heritage that reflects the cultural identity of the Malay community in Pelalawan, with 3 indicators of existence, namely work activities, conducting routine exercises carried out in every studio and school in Pelalawan, and introducing this dance to the community. Having facts, something can be said to exist if it has facts, functions to strengthen the cultural identity of Pelalawan Regency which is entertainment in nature which is carried out in studios and schools can make the Zapin Pecah Duabelas dance increasingly exist in the lives of the Malay community and become the identity of Pelalawan Regency by maintaining authenticity starting from the variety of movements, musical accompaniment and clothing, and efforts to maintain its existence, by involving the younger generation, social media and participating in cultural festivals can maintain the existence of the Zapin Pecah Duabelas dance in that way the Pelalawan Regency Government, Malay Traditional Institutions and Studios and Schools maintain the existence of the Zapin Pecah Duabelas dance so that it continues to exist until now

No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine the perception of grade X students towards the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at State High School 3 Siak Hulu. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of all grade X students of State High School 3 Siak Hulu in the 2023/2024 academic year. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a sample size of 65 respondents. The data collection technique in this study was using questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the percentage index formula. The results of the study showed that overall the percentage of Class X Students' Perceptions of the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu was 71,38% and was included in the Fairly Good category. The indicator with the highest score is students' understanding of the statement that students are given the opportunity to express creative ideas related to projects in learning, this means that students are freely given the freedom by the teacher to convey and express their creativity in each learning project

No full textThis study aims to explore and understand how consumption patterns and altruistic values are perceived and interpreted by students of the Accounting Education Program at the Islamic University of Riau. Employing a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews and documentation to gain a comprehensive understanding of students’ experiences and perspectives regarding consumption and altruistic actions. The findings indicate that students’ consumption patterns do not directly shape their altruistic behavior. Although financial limitations often pose challenges, the decision to share and help others is more strongly influenced by personal awareness, empathy, and internal motivation. These insights suggest that altruism among students is not merely a reflection of material conditions, but rather an embodiment of deeply rooted human values shaped by their life experiences
Development Of Interactive E-modules For Elementary Students: Enhancing Learning Outcomes
No full textThis study aims to develop an interactive e-module that can improve elementary school students' learning outcomes and provide a more interesting learning experience. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE model. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, tests, and document recording, which were analyzed using a Likert scale. The validation results showed that the e-module design scored 95%, the material scored 73%, and the language scored 92.5%. Responses from teachers (91.47%) and students (90%) showed that this e-module was interesting, effective, and could help students understand the material better. The effectiveness test showed a significant influence on student learning outcomes (significance value 0.000), which proves that this e-module is more effective than conventional learning methods. The implications of this study are that the e-module developed is proven to be valid, practical, and effective and can be used as an interactive and enjoyable learning medium to improve student learning outcomes and motivation, especially in overcoming monotonous learning challenges

No full textAbstract This research focuses on obtaining valid Canva-based audio-visual teaching materials, so that they can be said to be suitable for use in the learning process. The urgency of this research is so that students will be able to build their knowledge from various sources and learning media. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development) where the design uses the development of the ADDIE model which is used in only a few stages because of the limitations of researchers, namely analysis, design, development. The data collection instrument used was an expert validation sheet. Data collection techniques include validation sheets, observations and unstructured interviews with class teachers as sources of information data. Qualitative descriptive analysis is the data analysis method used, and tries to characterize the validity findings provided by the validator. The results of data analysis obtained validity in the material, language and design aspects. The characteristics of the validator results are 83.63%, 86.25%, 88% respectively in the "feasible" category. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the audio-visual media assisted by the Canva application developed is declared valid and suitable for use by students in learning activities

No full textbstract Students' creative thinking abilities are basically still relatively lacking and need to be trained so that they can create a sense of enthusiasm in students, especially in science learning. In this problem, the role of the teacher is very necessary to overcome it by using appropriate learning methods, because teachers play an important role in education and helping students overcome problems in learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the inquiry method on improving students' creative thinking abilities in the fifth grade science subject at UPT SDN 023 Pandau Jaya. The type of research that will be used in this research is Quantitative. This research applies an experimental design using a type of preexperimental design, namely the one group pretest-posttest design method. In this research, the sampling technique used was a purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 22 students from class VA. The data collection technique in this research used a questionnaire. The research instrument in this study was a questionnaire sheet. The data analysis technique used is the paired sample t-test. Research shows that the inquiry method significantly improves students' creative thinking abilities in class V science subjects at UPT SDN 023 Pandau Jaya, as shown by the significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) <0.000 which is smaller than the 0.05 significance level. This approach encourages students to actively explore, ask and analyze, thus supporting the development of creative ideas and innovative problem solving. The inquiry method is proven to be an effective learning strategy for improving the quality of learning and students' higher order thinking skills

No full textShrimp farming is one of the fisheries sectors that has high economic potential. However, the manual water quality monitoring process is a major obstacle in improving the efficiency of aquaculture. Manual monitoring requires a lot of labor, is prone to human error, and is less efficient in detecting changes in pond environmental conditions. Therefore, this research develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality monitoring system to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of real-time monitoring of shrimp pond water quality. The developed system uses several main sensors, namely temperature sensor (DS18B20), pH sensor, salinity sensor (TDS), turbidity sensor, and dissolved oxygen sensor (DO). The data obtained from the sensors is sent to the server via the internet network and displayed on the monitoring website. In addition, the system is also equipped with Telegram notifications that provide alerts if there are significant changes in water quality parameters. The test results show that this system is able to monitor water quality accurately and in real-time, thus reducing dependence on manual labor. The data stored in the database can also be used for further analysis to improve pond management. With this system, it is expected that pond managers can respond to environmental changes more quickly and increase the productivity of shrimp farming
