No full textThe role of police investigators in uncovering human trafficking cases is certainly very much needed. Investigators can carry out their duties and authorities based on applicable legal regulations. Human trafficking itself is a crime that still often occurs in the community itself, ranging from the act of exporting illegal immigrants to sexual and economic exploitation. Most victims of human trafficking are women and children. In uncovering and resolving human trafficking cases, the role of the police, namely investigators, certainly has great power and authority as the front guard to uncover human trafficking cases, which will then minimize the possibility of human trafficking in the future. In this study, the formulation of the problem is how is the role of investigators of Subdit IV of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Riau Police in uncovering human trafficking cases and what are the inhibiting factors for investigators of Subdit IV of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the Riau Police in uncovering human trafficking cases. Data analysis in this study uses a qualitative method or method, namely the data collected is arranged in detail, systematically and provides a description based on legal norms, legal theory, and legal principles. Connecting with field data according to the actual conditions or objects at the research location, then an overall analysis is carried out. With the type of empirical research, namely conducting interviews and direct observations with the nature of the research, namely phenomenology, which aims to describe an impact without changing or manipulating what will be studied. In uncovering cases of human trafficking, investigators have a role that begins with receiving reports and conducting investigations and investigations, then in carrying out the role of investigators, of course there will be obstacles in uncovering cases of human trafficking, such as the victim's unwillingness to report and their unwillingness to question the crime. These victims are not aware that what happened to them is a crime of human trafficking, as are the perpetrators. Of course these things can happen because of several supporting factors

No full textTHE INFLUENCE OF SALARY AND BONUSES ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PT ASTRA CREDIT COMPANIES IN PEKANBARU This study aims to explore and analyze the effect of salary and bonus on employee performance at PT. Astra Credit Company in Pekanbaru. The main focus of this study is employees who work as sales marketing, with a sample size of 70 people selected using the purposive sampling method. The data used in this study consists of primary and secondary data, collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using the path analysis method (Path Coefficient) which was processed with the help of SmartPLS-4 Software to ensure accuracy in measuring the relationship between variables. The results of the study indicate that salary and bonus have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This finding indicates that increasing salary and providing appropriate bonuses can directly encourage employee performance to be more optimal. Thus, this study provides practical implications for companies in planning effective compensation policies to increase employee productivity and achieve overall organizational goals

The arrest of narcotics offenders is often carried out by catching hands. Verbal witnesses who are often referred to as investigator witnesses have not been regulated in Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning Criminal Procedure Law or other laws and regulations in Indonesia. The main problem in this study How is the strength and position of verbalism witness evidence in proving narcotics crime cases (Study of Pekanbaru District Court Decision Number 15/Pid.Sus/2024/PN Pbr)? This type of research is classified as empris research conducted by means of field surveys such as observation, interviews and documentation. While the nature of this research is descriptive analytical, namely providing and explaining what happened clearly and systematically. The results of the study state that the strength and position of verbal witnesses in proving narcotics crime cases (Study of the decision of the Pekanbaru District Court Number 15/Pid.Sus/2024/PN. The presence of verbalism witnesses in this case is considered important because their testimony can help convince the judge in deciding the guilt or innocence of the defendant, even though there are other witnesses There is no special regulation in the legislation regarding verbalism witnesses themselves, so the presence of verbalism witnesses is a jurisprudence that judges use as a basis for presenting verbalism witnesses. The absence of a special regulation regarding verbal witnesses makes the evidentiary power of verbal witnesses doubtful. Verbalized witnesses in this case explained the process of examining the Defendant and one other witness who was a friend of the Defendant, until finally the police officer who acted as the arresting witness arrested the Defendant by hand at Jl. The type of research that the author uses is descriptive research type and quantitative research method using SPSS 25 software. The population and sample in this study were Consumers of the Ivo International fashion store Marpoyan Pekanbaru City. totaling 96 respondents. The research data was obtained from observations, questionnaires and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study used Validity Test, reliability test, Simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that the Display product variable had an effect on the dependent variable, namely Impulse buying. The results of the determination coefficient of the R square value obtained 0.661 or 66.1% which means the influence of Display product on Impulse buying. of 66.1%. While the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study

No full textThe aim of this research is to analyze, find out and explain the influence of product availability on purchasing decisions at CV. Herry Motorrindo Mandiri. This type of research uses a quantitative approach method. For the sampling method, incidental sampling took a sample of 95 people. The data collection technique used by the author was the method of observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used in this research using SPSS 26 are validity test, reliability test, normality test, heteroscedasticity test, coefficient of determination test (R2), and significance test (t test). The results of testing the hypothesis show that product availability influences consumer purchasing decisions. The results of the coefficient of determination value obtained are R2 = 0.382, which means that there is a relationship between product availability (X) and purchasing decisions (Y) of 38.2%. Meanwhile, the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. And the t test value obtained is t count 7.579 and t table 1.985, which means the significant value is 0.000<0.05 and there is an influence between product availability and purchasing decisions

No full textThe emergence of crimes of rape against children is a phenomenon that is very disturbing to society, especially in the jurisdiction of the Pekanbaru Police. This crime not only causes deep physical and psychological suffering for the victim,but also causes unrest in society. Efforts to combat the crime of rape have consumed a lot of funds and energy, but the results cannot be said to be effective. In fact, the number of cases continues to increase significantly, from 38 cases in 2021 to 54 cases in 2023, both in terms of quality and quantity. This research aims to identify the factors that cause rape of children, understand the modus operandi used by the perpetrator, and analyze the response efforts carried out by law enforcement officers in the Pekanbaru Police jurisdiction. The method used in this research is an empirical legal method with an observation research or field approach. Researchers collected primary and secondary data through direct surveys, interviews and questionnaires involving various respondents, including police officers, perpetrators and parties competent in the legal field. The research results show that the factors that cause child rape include internal factors, such as psychological drives and the nature of the perpetrator who is driven by criminal intent, as well as external factors, such as weak family supervision, unstable social conditions, and low legal awareness in society. The perpetrator's modus operandi often takes advantage of a close relationship with the victim, a situation with minimal supervision, or the victim's vulnerable condition, both physically and psychologically. Efforts made by the police to tackle this crime include preventive measures, such as legal education, routine patrols, and increased public awareness through socialization. On the other hand, repressive steps were taken with an in-depth inquiry and investigation process, followed by handing over the case files to the Public Prosecutor for the trial process. Although these efforts have been implemented, stricter law enforcement and strengthening child protection policies are still urgently needed

No full textThis study aims to analyze the effect of product quality on repurchase interest at Waroeng Steak & Shake Panam Pekanbaru Branch. Product quality is considered an important factor in determining consumer decisions to make repeat purchases. The research method used is quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are consumers of waroeng steak & shake. The results of the regression analysis show that product quality has a significant effect onrepurchase interest, with a t-count value of 2,847 greater thanthe t-table of 1,660, and a significance value of 0,000 less than 0,05. The findings show that increasing product quality can significantly encourage consumers to make repeat purchases. Based on these results, it is recommended that the management of Waroeng Steak & Shake continue to maintain and improve the quality of products and services, in order to strengthen consumer loyalty and increase repurchase interest
