The method used is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach by conducting interviews with key informants and informants based on the research title raised. Based on the research results, there is a relationship between the crime of murder and drug abuse. No full textThis study examines the portrayal of crime in the video game Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) and its potential impact on the learning of criminal behavior in children and adolescents. GTA V is known for its content that allows players to engage in illegal activities such as robbery, murder, and fleeing from the police without clear moral consequences. Exposure to such behaviors in the game may influence young players' perceptions of the normalization of criminal behavior, particularly because they may not yet fully differentiate between the fictional world and reality. This issue is crucial to study because the long-term impact of such games on the formation of social values and behavior in children could affect their psychological and social development. The aim of this research is to understand how the depiction of crime in GTA V may influence young players' views and behaviors, as well as to identify its potential impact on the development of a mindset more familiar with violence and criminal behavior. The study employs a qualitative approach with interviews of informants, including gamers, parents, and psychologists. The findings suggest that although some players are able to distinguish between fiction and reality, repeated exposure to violence and criminal behavior can alter their views on crime, making it seem appealing or even rewarding. The study concludes that GTA V has the potential to shape a mindset more attuned to violence and crime. Therefore, parental supervision and a critical understanding of the content consumed are crucial in preventing negative impacts on the psychological and social development of children and adolescents

No full textOne of the social problems that occurs every year is deviant behavior in children. This requires professional social workers on an ongoing and competent basis to overcome this problem. The government established the Abiseka Center as a technical implementing unit in an effort to handle children in conflict with the law. This study aims to determine the implementation of social rehabilitation assistance for children in conflict with the law at the Abiseka Center in 2024 and the obstacles in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach and data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the flow of implementing social rehabilitation assistance begins with the intake and engagement stages, assessment, intervention planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, termination, and supervision. Meanwhile, the obstacles that occur are still minimal professional staff with a social welfare background and inadequate infrastructure
Penyesuaian Sosial Pada Mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Islam Riau
No full textThis study seeks to explore the social adjustment experiences of the 2023 cohort at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Islam Riau. Using quantitative descriptive methods and using the Slovin formula for sampling, we collected data from 176 respondents from a total population of 313 students. Information was collected through a validated and reliable questionnaire focused on social adjustment. The results revealed that the majority of students (59.9%) showed a high level of social adjustment. In particular, female students were more likely to fall into this high social adjustment category compared to their male counterparts. In addition, students aged 19 and 20 years showed a higher level of social adjustment than those in other age groups. These results indicate that freshmen at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Islam Riau generally have strong social adaptation skills, engage effectively with peers, faculty, and participate in academic and extracurricular activities. The findings of this study aim to inform educational institutions as they design guidance and counseling programs that can better support students during their social adaptation process on campus

The data analysis technique used in the research is a simple linear regression test using SPSS. No full textThis research aims to determine the effect of occupational health and safety on employee performance at PT Sekarbumi Alam Lestari. Occupational health and safety (K3) is an important factor that can influence the motivation, productivity and welfare of employees in a company. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method, where data is collected through a questionnaire announced to employees of PT Sekarbumi Alam Lestari. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis techniques to determine the relationship between occupational health and safety variables and employee performance. The research results show that occupational health and safety have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Improving health and safety conditions in the workplace can increase motivation and productivity, so that employees can work more effectively and efficiently. Based on these findings, it is recommended that companies continue to improve K3 programs to support the creation of a safer and healthier work environment, which in turn will improve employee performance

No full textThe purpose of this research is to determine the effect of burnout and the work environment on employee job satisfaction at Café/Resto in the city of Pekanbaru. This research was conducted on cafe/restaurant employees in Pekanbaru City, namely Melati Green Garden, Kepiting Tumpah X Juice Kita and Padussy Coffee & Eatery. The number of samples for this research is 70 employees in the entire research object, namely, the Melati Green Garden Café/restaurant has 34 employees, our Kepiting Tumpah using a sampling technique, namely census sampling. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation with quantitative approach data analysis using SEM-PLS multiple linear regression analysis modeling. It is known that the research results show that: (1) partially burnout has no effect and is not significant, (2) partially the work environment has a partial and significant effect, (3) simultaneously burnout and the work environment have a significant and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the Café/ Restaurant in Pekanbaru city
