    ABSTRACTThe pattern of data from Cooking Oil Production is very volatile, making it difficult for companies to determine the number of products that will be produced in the future, followed by the difficulty of determining the amount of stock of raw materials provided to meet production needs. Cooking Oil at CV Amaly is made by order only so that future production planning will make it easier for the company in the process of determining strategy and also the supply of raw materials needed. The object of this research focuses on products of the 400ml, 900ml, and 1800ml Gading Sakti pouch types without paying attention to other products. The forecasting method used in this research consists of 3 (three) forecasting methods, namely Single Exponential Smoothing, Moving Average, and Naive method. Forecasting calculations are expected to facilitate the company in the process of determining the strategy and also the inventory of raw materials needed. Forecasting accurate production results is determined by the results of casting calculations with the smallest forecast error value as the final result of the study. The application of the Single Exponential Smoothing Method to forecasting the production of cooking oil for Pounch Gading Sakti 400ml and 1800ml produces data patterns that approach or follow the pattern of production demand data, while the data patterns from the Moving Average Method and the Naïve method tend to be different from the production data. This happens because there is a difference in the calculation of the forecast value between the Naïve method and the Single Exponential Smoothing Method. Meanwhile, for Punch Gading Sakti cooking oil, in 900 ml packaging, the Moving Average method produces a data pattern that is closer to or following the pattern of production demand data than the data pattern of the Moving Average Method and the Nave method. The Exponential Smoothing method has a better accuracy rate than the Moving Average and Nave methods for forecasting Pounch Gading Sakti 400ml and 1800ml. The forecast error value of the Single Exponential Smoothing Pounch Gading Sakti method is 400ml and 1800ml, respectively, 28.59%, 21.89%. The forecast error value of the Moving Average Pounch Gading Sakti method is 400ml and 1800ml, respectively, 29.03% and 24.16%. The forecast error value for the Naïve Pounch Gading Sakti method is 400ml and 1800ml, respectively, 32.74% and 23.90%. Meanwhile, for Pounch Gading Sakti 900 ml, the Moving Average method has a better level of accuracy than the Exponential Smoothing method and the Naïve method. become a reference in the appropriate raw material inventory strategy.     Electrical energy is energy that has an important role for society. One of the benefits of electrical energy is for lighting. The need for electricity in the world today is very large. The source of energy used to obtain electricity is still mostly using oil and gas and coal, where oil and gas on earth is very limited, and at some point it is estimated that it will run out. With this problem, one of the renewable power plants that can be utilized is the MHP system (Microhydro Power Plant). MHP is a small-scale hydroelectric power plant by utilizing water from irrigation canals, dams, and rivers that have low head. The utilization of this power can be done by converting it into mechanical energy using a screw turbine type water turbine (Screw Archimedes) with a discharge of 0.01 m³/s, a length of 870 mm, a thread diameter of 350 mm, a shaft diameter of 190 mm with a shaft thickness of 5 mm, 6 blades which divided into 2 threads and a shaft tilt angle of 35°. This research was conducted to simulate the performance of a screw turbine using solidworks software. This study serves to obtain critical points due to fluid pressure on the screw turbine and to analyze the water fluid when the screw turbine is operated

     ABSTRACTStock problems caused by incorrect production planning can be overcome by forecasting the production schedule so that the production planning schedule is accurate in the future. Future production planning will make it easier for the company in the process of determining the strategy and also the supply of raw materials needed. The object of this research focuses on office furniture products. The forecasting method used in this research consists of 2 (two) forecasting methods, namely Naive and Single Exponential Smoothing. The production schedule forecasting calculation is expected to be able to answer the problems that exist in the company. The determination of an accurate production schedule is determined by the results of the forecasting calculation with the smallest forecast error value as the final result of the study. Application of Single Exponential Smoothing Method on Office Furniture forecasting at PT. Katwara produces a data pattern that is close to or follows the pattern of production demand data, while the data pattern from the Naïve Method tends to be different from the production data. This happens because there is a difference in the calculation of the forecast value between the Naïve method and the Single Exponential Smoothing Method.The Exponential Smoothing method has a better accuracy rate than the Naïve method. The forecast error value of the Single Exponential Smoothing method is ME 2,316, MAD 59.575, MSE 5398.23 and MAPE 35.96%. While the Naïve method has a ME value of 4.067, MAD 68.2, MSE 7206.07 and MAPE 39.25%.     Increasing efficiency and effectiveness is a fundamental problem for every company. Optimization of raw material inventory is an effort for this problem. PT XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing various flavors of beverages, one of which is sugar. The level of sugar usage in each month is probabilistic and dynamic. PT XYZ's raw material inventory is determined based on field assumptions, causing a shortage or excess of raw material inventory. This study aims to determine the policy of raw material inventory P backorder model with the integration of Monte Carlo simulation and Dynamic System. The raw material inventory policy is determined based on the order time interval, safety stock, and maximum capacity and compares the actual total inventory cost with the Monte Carlo simulation. Dynamic system simulation is carried out to ensure that the P backorder model inventory policy can be applied. The results showed that the total inventory without Monte Carlo was better than the total cost of the Monte Carlo simulation of Rp198.846.582,98 with an order time interval of 0,30929 years, a maximum inventory capacity of 11149,8 kg and a safety stock of 4335,83 kg. From the results of the comparison using the one sample T-test, it was found that there was no statistical difference between the results of the dynamic system simulation and the results from the calculation of the P backorder model so that the P backorder model policy could be applied to PT XYZ to determine the minimum inventory cost

    Human resources are an important asset in a company and need to be developed. Human resource development is related to the performance generated in achieving the company's targets. The sustainability of human resource performance cannot be separated from work accidents. Many factors often cause work accidents such as: human error, electric shock, etc. This study aims to identify potential hazards, calculate risk level values, analyze the results of risk assessment calculations, and propose controls and solutions to reduce potential hazards and work accidents. The research was conducted in the maintenance division of CV. Dira Utama Sejahtera. It’s a manufacturing company engaged in the field of line pipe. The research was conducted using the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. The results showed that there were 9 potential hazards, namely collision on the feet or head, electric shock, falling from the pipeline, pinched between pipelines, chemical explosion, hands hit by hot pipes, splashed by material, hands hit by drill bits, and slipped until the leg is sprained. The results of the risk level assessment that 11,1% fall into the category of low risk and extreme, 33,3% moderate risk, and 44,4% high risk. For risk control, it is proposed by elimination, administrative control, engineering control, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Keywords  : Work Accidents, Line Pipe Company, HIRARC Metho

    Carbon-based material is one of the main filler materials for the manufacture of polymer composite bipolar plates for fuel cell applications. Some variation materials filler based carbon used on manufacture bipolar plate white high cost.  Determine of low cost filler materials is one of special issue for manufacture bipolar plate. Activated carbon is a alternative for suitable filler material base carbon at polymer composite and easy to find in Indonesia. This study investigates the effect of activated carbon composition in polymer composites on bending strength with a composition of 10, 20, 30, 40 (percent by weight) activated carbon (AC) with a polypropylene (PP) matrix. The sample has fabricated used hot press mouding with mix process at 220o­­­ C temperatures with 320 Psi pressure in 20 minutes. The bending test results with the standard three point bending test ASTM D790-03, The best value was found at a composition of 10% by weight of activated carbon of 26.9 MPa. This achievement has been obtained the Department of Energy, United State Of America (DOE USA) standard is 25 Mpa. This condition due to the polymer's composition of 10% KA to 90% PP, which makes it easier for the polymer to yield higher bonding and hence boost bending strength

    The era of industrial globalization 4.0 implements a computerized production system automatically so that not many workers will operate production machines. Every business activity must have a risk of work accidents. PT. Sumber Mas Indah Plywood is one of the successful companies characterized by export-oriented product income in 5 major countries. With the level of demand that has spread to various countries, the company must always improve the quality of the products produced. The higher the level of productivity of a company, the greater the danger or risk of work that will be posed. The purpose of this study is to conduct an analysis process consisting of hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control using hirarc method. The results showed that there are 3 work stations. In rotary stations there are 4 work activities, at dryer station there are 3 work activities and at repair stations there are 1 work activities. The results of the identification of potential hazards using hirarc method identified there are 10 potential hazards, where there is 1 potential danger including extreme risk level, 6 potential hazards including high risk level, 2 potential hazards including moderate risk level and 1 potential hazard included low risk level

    UKM Tahu Haji Mamad is an industry that is engaged in making tofu and the main raw material is soybeans.This study aimed at determining the quality control of product, the most common types defect in product, the factors in causing defect in product, the action that should be taken to prevent the defect of product at UKM Tahu Haji Mamad by using Statistical Processing Control. this type of research is descriptive with quantitative approach. Collectingdata using interviews and observations, data analysis techniques using four tools ofquality control, the check sheet, histogram, a causal diagram, and a control chart p. Defective products in the finished product every time it isproduced indicates that the quality control carried out by UKM tofu Haji Mamad is still not optimal.Observations and observations made at the Haji Mamad Tofu Factory for 10 days found manydefective products which every day averaged around 46 tofu products.The results showed there arefive types of damage to the product know, that smell, texture,hard, soft texture, there are dirt, and thewrong cut. The most dominant is the kind ofdamage a hard texture, which is about 41.74% compared to all the damage knew theothers.     The Screw Turbine MicroHydro Power Plant is a small-scale power plant that produces < 200 kW of power, which utilizes the power (flow) of water as a source of energy production. MHP is a renewable energy source and deserves to be called clean energy because it is environmentally friendly. In terms of technology, MHP was chosen because of its simple construction and easy operation. The screw turbine can be operated in remote settlements that do not have electricity by placing it in a river with medium or large discharge to produce electrical energy. This research was carried out based on the previous reference, where the screw turbine which was carried out during this study had a size with a shaft length of 870 mm, an outer diameter of 350 mm, a pitch of 290 mm with 2 blades (screw) with a 35° Treaded turbin tilt angle. The screw turbine in this study produced the highest generator power of 38.4 VDC at a water discharge of 0.0205 m^3/s with a generator shaft rotation of 888 Rpm, a turbine efficiency value of 37.0% at a water discharge of 0.0133 m^3/s. The Screw Turbine has a Torque of 0.60139072 Nm
