Consideration of the definition of KPI in SDGs and major initiatives
This paper examines the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and compares the definitions in the KPIs of the GRI, the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), which are the major initiatives issuing guidelines for reporting content focusing on non-financial information. The definitions of KPIs of GRI, SASB, and IIRC, which are major initiatives issuing guidelines for reporting content focusing on non-financial information, are compared, and suggestions for future research are made based on previous studies of reporting documents. The results suggest directions for research, such as analysis of KPIs focusing on companies with a clear approach to the SDGs rather than on a diversified guideline base, and focusing on the actual use of the initiatives themselves and examining their effectiveness
Exploring the benefits of cooperation between Usuki Cable Net's “Public-Private Management”
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), cable television networks have been installed throughout Japan since the early 1955s to eliminate challenges when broadcasting. The number of cable TV household subscriptions has been increasing year on year, reaching over 31 million by the end of 2022, with an average household viewing rates of approximately 52%. Nevertheless, there are variations in the viewing rates from just under 6% in Fukushima Prefecture compared to the substantial rate of 93% in Tokushima Prefecture. Furthermore, there are differences in management strategies and business conditions.
Usuki City municipality and local businesses are continuously upgrading the infrastructure and hardware, such as the fiber-optic networks and cables, studios, and other buildings, while leaving the program management and programming to the private sector. One of the features of this public-private management system is called "Usuki Sekibutsu Net. It's an ID card issued by the local government with citizen's personal information such as medical, pharmacy, and nursing care information that can be shared with hospitals and other institutions so that the date can be utilized. Usuki Cable TV has been characterized by its cooperative partnership with medical associations, local governments, and the private sector.
This paper will focus on a cable TV station in Usuki City in Oita Prefecture that has adopted a public-praivate management system
SCOTT FITZGERALD AND HIS FICTIONAL TECHNIQUE OF "THE RICH BOY."
P(論文)1. His character and career; He was thought to be the trumpeter of the "Jazz Age" and yet in fact never identified himself with it and was deeply hostile to many of its manifestations. At the very time when he was accepted as a symbol of youthful sophistication, he was essentially unsophisticated naive and rommantic, a provincial newly arrived in New York. He was a richly confused character, in which, at least two sharply contrasting and opposed strains can be discovered-lyrical but cynical, a romantist but stoic for himself. 2. Fictional technique of "The Rich Boy" "The Rich Boy" is the story of a very wealthy boy who made a tremendous success in the society but could not but lead a solitary and cynical life in spite of his longing for a home and an ordinary life. Arthur Misener, biographer of Scott Fitzgerald said exquisitely that "Anson's queer, rich boy's pride deprived him of a home and an ordered life which he wanted most. Hating not to dominate, Anson cannot love those he does dominate, cannot commit himself to the human muddle as he must if he is to have the life he wants". Specially as fictional technique, the author established a clever but sympathetic narrator in the center of the novel who gave this article countless merits, that is to say, simplicity, urgency and density
