    The integration of nursing and engineering has the potential to drive significant improvements in patient care and healthcare systems. With the increasing complexity of healthcare, driven by advancements in technology, there is a growing need for professionals who can bridge the gap between clinical care and technological innovation. This paper explores the concept of the "nurse-engineer," a new professional role designed to leverage the expertise of both nurses and engineers to address healthcare challenges through technology. It examines the history and evolution of biomedical and systems engineering in healthcare, highlighting successful collaborations between nurses and engineers. These partnerships have led to the development of innovative healthcare technologies, such as telerobotic nursing assistants and assistive devices for patients with disabilities. The paper also discusses existing interdisciplinary programs, including joint nursing-engineering degree initiatives, and outlines the benefits of such collaborations in enhancing patient outcomes and improving healthcare efficiency. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of incorporating nurses' clinical insights into the design and implementation of healthcare technologies, ensuring that innovations are both effective and patient-centered. By fostering collaboration between nursing and engineering, the nurse-engineer role has the potential to shape the future of healthcare, creating new opportunities for improved patient care, safety, and technological advancements

    The Quantum Strategic Vision for the Concept of Energy in the Perception of Architectural Space

    Designing spaces that promote occupant health and well-being is essential to achieve sustainable building practices.  This paper considers a sustainable architecture design by investigating quantum energy and perception within architectural space. To this end, the mutual influence between the building and the user through the energy effect of space is investigated. Besides, this paper discusses the energy’s role in architecture and the nature of perception in shaping spatial awareness and human engagement within environments. In addition, this paper discuss how quantum and electromagnetic energy can enhance architectural design.  We aim to provide information related to the study of the magnetic field effect in architecture design, specifically the effect of the geomagnetic field on occupants.  Examples of practical implementation have been presented with the aim to provide effective recommendations for future architectural design. The findings in this research highlight the potential of energy-inspired designs to create built environments that are both more sustainable and adaptive

    Outcome of Patients Undergoing Nasal Plastic Surgery in KSA: A Cross-Sectional Study

    Objective: This research aims to determine the Outcome of Patients Undergoing Nasal Plastic Surgery in KSA. Methods: This study will employ a cross-sectional design to assess the outcomes of patients who have undergone nasal plastic surgery (rhinoplasty) in Saudi Arabia. The study will collect data from patients at a single time to evaluate their post-surgical satisfaction, complications, and quality of life. Results: The study included 290 participants. The study included 290 participants. The most frequent gender among them was female (n= 196, 58.2%) and male (n= 121, 41.7%).  The most frequent age among study participants was 36-40 years (n= 84, 29%) followed by 25-30 years (n= 64, 22.1%) then more than 40 years and 31-35 years (n=48,16.6%) at least less than 25 years (n=38, 13.1%). The most frequent marital status among study participants was married (n= 129, 44.4%), followed by divorced (n= 87, 30%%), then single (n=87,18.9%).  The participants were asked if they had the surgery, participants most of them didn’t. Their answers were no (n=181, 62.4%) and yes (n=109, 37.5%).  The participants were asked about the reason for undergoing rhinoplasty. The responses were the most frequent reason was for beauty (n=170, 58.6%), followed by insisting on friends and family (n=66, 22.8%), then to show off (n=29, 10%), other reasons (n=15, 5.2%) and to catch up with the mode (n=10, 3.4%). Conclusion: This study reveals that rhinoplasty is a prevalent procedure in Saudi Arabia, primarily driven by patients' desire for aesthetic enhancement. These results emphasize the importance of thorough medical evaluations and psychological consultations before surgery to ensure alignment between expectations and potential outcomes

    Prevalence of Epilepsy and Other Associated Diseases among Children: A Cross-Sectional Study

    Objective: This research aims to determine the prevalence of epilepsy and other associated diseases among children. Methods: The research will employ a cross-sectional study design to assess the prevalence of epilepsy and its association with other diseases. Cross-sectional studies allow for the simultaneous collection of data from a diverse sample of individuals within a specific population, providing a snapshot of disease prevalence and comorbidity patterns at a given point in time. Results: The study included 550 participants. The most frequent age among them was 1-5 years (n= 206, 37.5%), followed by 6-9 years (n= 147, 26.7%), then 10-14 years (n=142, 25.8%). Figure 1 shows the age distribution among study participants. The most frequent gender among study participants was male (n= 318, 57.8%), followed by female (n= 232, 42.1%). Figure 2 shows the gender distribution among study participants. Participants were asked if the child suffered from epilepsy or seizures. The most frequent answers were yes (n=378, 68.7%) and no (n=172, 31.2%). The most frequent type of epilepsy was generalized epilepsy (n=282, 74.6%), followed by focal epilepsy (n=96, 25.4%). Figure 4 shows the type of epilepsy distribution among study participants. Conclusion: This study revealed a high prevalence of epilepsy among children, with generalized epilepsy being the most common subtype. Significant associations were identified between epilepsy and comorbidities such as stress, anxiety, and depression, highlighting the multifaceted impact of this condition on affected individuals and their families. The findings underscore the necessity of comprehensive diagnostic approaches and tailored management strategies to address not only epilepsy but also its associated physical and psychological burdens

    Stunting Among Children Under Five Years: A Case-Control Study

    Background: Childhood stunting remains a threatening nutritional problem and persistent global challenge. It is a major health problem affecting Egyptian children. The aim of the present study was to compare between case and control groups in relation to physical assessment, anthropometric measurements and anemia. Subjects and Methods: A case-control research design was used to conduct the current study where 300 children under five years and their caregivers distributed equally in the form of case (150) and control (150) groups. The study sample was selected by a non-probability purposive sampling technique attending pediatric nutrition clinic for cases and general pediatric clinic for controls, Zagazig University Hospital. Tools of data collection: Two tools were used for collecting data. Tool (Ⅰ): Interview questionnaire. Tool (Ⅱ): Physical assessment form. Results: The study results showed that 84.7% of case groups had abnormalities in hair compared to 12.7% of control groups. In addition to 80.7% of case groups children have abnormalities in lips, skin color and nail color compared to 10.0% of control groups. Concerning anthropometric measurements, 100.0% of children in case groups’ height for age were below normal. Regarding the hemoglobin level, 80.0% of the cases were below normal compared to 47.3% of control groups. Conclusion: The study concluded that statistically significant differences were found between case and control groups regarding physical assessment, anthropometric measurements and hemoglobin level. Recommendations: It is recommended that periodic screening for young children allows early detection of stunting

    Design and Prioritization of Development Strategies in Sustainable Materials Engineering through the Regnier's Abacus

    Sustainability in manufacturing has positioned itself as a new innovation-oriented priority with the capacity to transform the way of doing business by implementing strategies that minimize environmental impact and promote efficiency in the use of resources. However, its implementation faces significant technical, regulatory, and ethical barriers that must be addressed comprehensively. This research approaches the state of sustainable strategies in manufacturing through an exhaustive review of the scientific and technical literature along with semi-structured interviews with experts in sustainability, manufacturing, regulations, and technology and, in addition, through the use of the Regnier's Abacus. The results revealed the importance of implementing sustainable regulations and the use of circular production systems, as well as the need to prioritize training/teaching in sustainability and the use of innovative technologies. The study also highlighted the importance of having valuable and practical information to guide responsible industrial decision-making, although it also makes clear that more studies are needed on these topics to develop clearer regulations and ethical positions that serve as a guide in the implementation of development strategies in the field of sustainable materials engineering

    Computational Simulation Of Electromagnetic Effect On Magnetic Alginate Nanosphere: Molecular Dynamics Approach

    Alginate-based nanoparticles are a promising substrate for a number of applications owing to their biocompatibility, biodegradability, and ability to encapsulate a broad range of chemicals. A number of studies were used to understand the simulation findings of magnetic alginate-based nanoparticles, which we refer to as alginosomes. The MD simulation was applied in the NVT ensemble for a set period of time to collect trajectory data for analysis, which comprised total and potential energy parameters, RDF, and RMSD, all of which were computed using the DERIDING forcefield. The LAMMPS software tool was used to simulate an external electromagnetic field and calculate atomic behavior, Nano stability, and the disintegration process. The simulation findings showed that the total energy of the magnetic alginosome converged to -7479 kcal/mol . At the same time, the zeta potential of the Nano system reached -0.45 mV in response to an external electromagnetic field during an exothermic process. In addition, the size and form of magnetic nanoparticles in MD simulation may have a considerable impact on the RDF of a magnetic alginate-based nanosphere. Finally, the discovery of magnetic alginate-based nanoparticles has revealed their behavior. It may be used to drive the design process for improving their performance in a number of biological applications. It can provide useful insights into the behavior of magnetic nanoparticles under a range of situations, as well as aid in the optimization of nano-system techniques

    If we consider the organization of space to be at the core of architecture, and recognize technology as a key force in shaping that space, then understanding how technology influences spatial design becomes essential. Advances in inventions and emerging technologies have fundamentally transformed human life. Yet, despite their rapid proliferation, technologies inevitably become outdated and are replaced by newer innovations. This study seeks to explore the dynamic relationship between technology and architectural space. The central question it addresses is: how has architectural space evolved under the influence of technology? More specifically, in what ways have technological advancements provided new tools and opportunities for architects to respond to the evolving needs of human societies? Focusing on the framework of the industrial revolutions, the study first examines the four major industrial revolutions and their broader effects. It then analyzes their specific impact on architecture, identifying key influential factors in each period. Employing a qualitative, descriptive-analytical approach, the research draws upon documentary and archival sources. This paper aims to contextualize architectural transformations within the technological shifts of each industrial revolution. By identifying the technological drivers behind architectural changes, the research offers architects a more informed outlook on how future innovations may continue to shape the built environment
