Revisión sistemática sobre las causas del abandono y el fracaso escolar en España. Propuestas y alternativas [A systematic review of the causes of school dropout and failure in Spain. Proposals and alternatives]
No full textIntroduction: Early school leaving and academic failure are serious problems with negative effects for young people and society, as they increase the risk of social, educational and labour exclusion. To address this problem, the European Union seeks to reduce the educational dropout rate to 9% in 2030. In Spain, the current rate is 13.9%.
Objective: to learn about previous work on the subject and establish the state of the art to improve the situation.
Method: a systematic review (2013-2024) was carried out in the Web of Science and Scopus databases, selecting 13 articles published in the last 10 years on early school leaving, academic failure and lifelong education. Following the PRISMA 2020 Declaration, filters were applied by areas such as education, behavioural sciences and social affairs.
Conclusions: it is concluded that, of 496 works initially found, 13 are valid and related to the research topic.El abandono escolar temprano y el fracaso escolar son problemas graves con efectos negativos para los jóvenes y la sociedad ya que aumentan el riesgo de exclusión social, educativa y laboral. Para abordar esta problemática, la Unión Europea busca reducir la tasa de abandono educativo al 9% en 2030. En España, la tasa actual es del 13.9%. El objetivo es encontrar y analizar trabajos previos que investiguen los motivos que hay detrás del abandono escolar y el fracaso académico en España. Se realizó una revisión sistemática (2013-2024) en las bases de datos Web of Science y Scopus, seleccionando 13 artículos publicados en los últimos 10 años sobre abandono escolar temprano, fracaso escolar y educación permanente. Siguiendo la Declaración PRISMA 2020, se aplicaron filtros por áreas como educación, ciencias del comportamiento y asuntos sociales. Se concluye que, de 496 trabajos hallados inicialmente, 13 son válidos y tienen relación con el tema de investigación. Asimismo, tras una amplia discusión, la conclusión general es que abordar el abandono escolar temprano y el fracaso escolar requiere un esfuerzo coordinado y multifacético, basado en una sólida base de investigación y políticas educativas bien diseñadas.

Abstract:
Early school leaving and academic failure are serious problems with negative effects for young people and society as they increase the risk of social, educational and labour exclusion. DISTORTIONS, HALLUCINATIONS AND AFFECTATION OF REALITY: AN APPROACH TO POE’S TECHNIQUES AS A CREATOR OF AN OPPRESIVE ATMOSPHERE
No full textDistortions, hallucinations and affectation of reality are one of the most powerful weapons an author can use. As we shall see, the effects multiply when that writer is Edgar Allan Poe. On the other hand, or in addition, there is hardly something that can delight more than reading Poe. Our common thread is the use (or the absence) of details and sound imagery (repetitions, silences...) Besides, we must bear in mind the effects of sound on his productions as integrated in the horror genre and how experiencing them or ignoring this effect alters singularly the impact on the readers. In fact, Poe, as well as being an exceptional conductor in terms of suspense, is a master of sound effects.Las distorsiones, las alucinaciones y la afectación de la realidad son una de las armas más poderosas que puede usar un autor. Como veremos, los efectos se multiplican cuando ese escritor es Edgar Allan Poe. Por otro lado, o además, apenas hay algo que pueda deleitar más que leer a Poe. Nuestro hilo conductor es el uso (o la ausencia) de detalles e imágenes de sonido (repeticiones, silencios...) Además, debemos tener en cuenta los efectos del sonido en sus producciones integradas en el género de terror y cómo experimentarlas o ignorarlas. Este efecto altera singularmente el impacto en los lectores. De hecho, Poe, además de ser un conductor excepcional en términos de suspense, es un maestro de los efectos de sonido
Análisis del dictamen del Comité Económico y Social Europeo “La contribución del metaverso y de la robótica al sector médico”
No full textWith the publication of the European Economic and Social Committee\u27s own-initiative opinion on “The contribution of the meta-verse of robotics to the medical sector” on 20 April 2025, the door has been opened to sector-specific regulation of civil liability for damage caused by the use of artificial intelligence systems in the healthcare sector. Throughout this text, a series of recommendations of a very diverse nature are offered, such as the development of a global regulatory framework for robotics, greater reinforcement of the protection of sensitive data, the promotion of ethical standards and the development of informed consent protocols, the incentive of cybersecurity or the importance of adequate infrastructures in order to ensure equal access, which will be analysed in this article.Con la publicación del el Dictamen de iniciativa del Comité Económico y Social Europeo denominado “La contribución del metaverso de la robótica al sector médico”, de 20 de abril de 2025, se abre la puerta a una regulación de carácter sectorial en materia de responsabilidad civil derivada de los daños causados por el uso de sistemas de inteligencia artificial en el ámbito sanitario. A lo largo del presente texto se ofrecen una serie de recomendaciones de muy diversa índole, como el desarrollo de un marco normativo global para la robótica, mayor refuerzo de la protección de datos de carácter sensible, la promoción de normas éticas y elaboración de protocolos de consentimiento informado, el incentivo de la ciberseguridad o la importancia de infraestructuras adecuadas en aras a procurar la igualdad de acceso, que serán analizadas en el presente artículo

No full textThe currently known catalogue of orchestral music without soloists by Johann Georg Pisendel (1687-1755) is limited to only five works, of which PW 3:c1b is a revision of the Sonata for orchestra in C minor PW 3:c1a. This article describes some aspects of the reworking process of the German violinist and composer, which highlight – for the first time – the different types of changes made in this composition, some of which seem to derive from the performance practice. The Sonata in C minor, whose original scoring included only the strings (in addition to the basso continuo) without wind instruments, seems to be just one of the “well-elaborated four-part instrumental fugues” (vierstimmige wohlausgearbeitete Instrumentalfugen) mentioned by Johann Friedrich Agricola (1720-1774) in his report of Pisendel’s compositions contained in the anonymous biography of 1767.La produzione di musica orchestrale senza solisti, attualmente conosciuta, di Johann Georg Pisendel (1687-1755) è limitata ad appena cinque titoli, dei quali PW 3:c1b è una revisione della Sonata per orchestra in Do minore PW 3:c1a. Nell’articolo vengono descritti alcuni aspetti del processo rielaborativo del violinista e compositore tedesco, che evidenziano – per la prima volta – le differenti tipologie dei cambi apportati in questa composizione, alcuni dei quali sembrano derivare dall’esperienza esecutiva. La Sonata in Do minore, il cui organico originale prevedeva soltanto gli archi (oltre al basso continuo) senza strumenti a fiato, sembra essere proprio una delle “fughe strumentali a quattro parti ben elaborate” (vierstimmige wohlausgearbeitete Instrumentalfugen) menzionate da Johann Friedrich Agricola (1720-1774) nella sua relazione delle composizioni di Pisendel contenuta nella biografia anonima del 1767

Full text linkA comparison was made of the folios with musical notation from the 1494 Auriensis Missale, the Compostellanum Missale printed before February 13, 1496, and the two previously known leaves (on paper) of the Compostellanum Missale held in the Pontevedra Provincial Historical Archive. The involvement of Juan de Porras in the printing of the various copies was confirmed, as the same typeface was used for the text. However, significant differences were observed in the printing of the musical notation in all three, leading us to consider whether we are dealing with the remains of a third, previously unknown, Missale.Se realiza la comparación de los folios con notación musical del Misal Auriense de 1494, del Misal Compostelano impreso antes de 13 de febrero de 1496 y de las dos hojas (en papel) consideradas hasta ahora del Misal Compostelano depositadas en el Arquivo Histórico Provincial de Pontevedra. Se confirma la intervención de Juan de Porras en la impresión de los diversos ejemplares, en los que se usa la misma suerte tipográfica para el texto, sin embargo, se aprecian importantes diferencias en la impresión de la notación musical en los tres, lo que nos lleva a plantear si estamos ante los vestigios de un tercer Misal hasta ahora desconocido

In this article, we review its origins, operation, and development, highlighting its value as one of the key cultural activities in the small towns of Castilla-La Mancha.En noviembre del año 2019 la Biblioteca Pública Municipal de Villalba de la Sierra (Cuenca) puso en marcha un Club de Lectura de Adultos llamado “La Piñonera”. Desde entonces han sido muchas las lecturas y actividades complementarias llevadas a cabo por el mismo. En este artículo hacemos un repaso de sus orígenes, funcionamiento y desarrollo dimensionando su valor como una de las actividades culturales fundamentales en los pequeños municipios de Castilla-La Mancha
La Biblioteca Municipal Lope de Vega: 100 años de historia
No full textThe “Lope de Vega” Municipal Public Library of Manzanares was founded in 1927 thanks to the initiative of teacher Cirilo Muñoz y Sobrino, who proposed allocating the funds from the Book Festival to create a popular library. His proposal was embraced by the Town Council and supported by local residents and organizations, making it the first popular library in the province of Ciudad Real. Since then, the library has gone through different stages and locations, always adapting to the needs of the community. In 1958, it joined the National Reading Service under its current name, and in 2003 it moved to its present headquarters—a modern four-story building on Cárcel Street—which has allowed for the expansion of services, collections, and cultural activities.Today, the “Lope de Vega” Library is a cultural landmark in Manzanares. It offers a regular program that includes literary presentations, exhibitions, workshops, reading clubs, and collaborations with other municipal services. It also manages the Auxiliary Library of the Ignacio Sánchez Mejías Archive-Museum, specializing in the Generation of ’27, reinforcing its commitment to research and the dissemination of cultural heritage. The Ignacio Sánchez Mejías Archive-Museum houses a valuable collection of documents, photographs, and manuscripts related to the bullfighter, writer, and patron who inspired Federico García Lorca’s famous Lament for Ignacio Sánchez Mejías, and whose relationship with members of the Generation of ’27 marked a milestone in Spanish literary history. The year 2027 will be especially significant for Manzanares: it will commemorate the centenary of the founding of its library, an institution that has accompanied generations of readers and continues to keep alive the city’s bond with culture and the Generation of ’27.La Biblioteca Pública Municipal “Lope de Vega” de Manzanares nació en 1927 gracias a la iniciativa del maestro Cirilo Muñoz y Sobrino, quien propuso destinar los fondos de la Fiesta del Libro a la creación de una biblioteca popular. Su propuesta fue acogida por el Ayuntamiento y apoyada por vecinos y entidades locales, convirtiéndose así en la primera biblioteca popular de la provincia de Ciudad Real. Desde entonces, la biblioteca ha pasado por distintas etapas y ubicaciones, siempre adaptándose a las necesidades de la ciudadanía. En 1958 se incorporó al Servicio Nacional de Lectura bajo su actual denominación, y en 2003 se trasladó a su sede actual, un edificio moderno de cuatro plantas en la calle Cárcel, que ha permitido ampliar servicios, colecciones y actividades culturales. Hoy, la Biblioteca “Lope de Vega” es un referente cultural en Manzanares. Ofrece una programación estable que incluye presentaciones literarias, exposiciones, talleres, clubes de lectura y colaboraciones con otros servicios municipales. Además, gestiona la Biblioteca Auxiliar del Archivo-Museo Ignacio Sánchez Mejías, especializada en la Generación del 27, reforzando su compromiso con la investigación y la difusión del patrimonio cultural. El Archivo-Museo Ignacio Sánchez Mejías alberga una valiosa colección de documentos, fotografías y manuscritos relacionados con la figura del torero, escritor y mecenas que inspiró el célebre Llanto por Ignacio Sánchez Mejías de Federico García Lorca, y cuya relación con los miembros de la Generación del 27 marcó un hito en la historia literaria española. El año 2027 será especialmente significativo para Manzanares: se conmemorará el centenario de la fundación de su biblioteca, una institución que ha acompañado a generaciones de lectores y lectoras, y que mantiene vivo el vínculo de la ciudad con la cultura y con la Generación del 27
