    Addison P. Buck was from Foxcroft, and was mustered in with Company A of the 6th Maine Infantry on July 15, 1861. He was promoted to lieutenant and Regimental Quartermaster on September 20, 1861.     Cushing, Wainwright

    An 18 year old Wainwright Cushing mustered into the 6th Maine Infantry on July 15, 1861. He was wounded at Fredericksburg. Promoted Corporal September 1, 1863. He was discharged and reenlisted in the 1st Maine Veteran Volunteers. He was wounded at Spotsylvania, and served in Sheridan\u27s campaign in the Shenandoah Valley, and at Petersburg. He returned to Sebec after the war, and worked in a woolen mill as a dyer. In 1880 he started his own company Cushing\u27s Perfection Dyes.https://digicom.bpl.lib.me.us/spc_cw_cdv/1010/thumbnail.jp

    Edward C. Pierce age 24 joined the 3rd Maine infantry and was mustered in August 8, 1861. He was promoted to first lieutenant in Company B. He was promoted Captain December 22, 1862, then detached to the Signal corps with the 6th Corps.
