Coan, Will (William H.)
Will Coan ( William H.) age 23 mustered in as sergeant with the 6th Maine Infantry on July 15, 1861. He was promoted to first sergeant in 1862. On March 29, 1863 he was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant, he was wounded May 3, 1863 and in February 1864 he was appointed Adjutant. He was mustered out on a surgeon\u27s certificate on September 29, 1864. He transferred to the 1st Veteran Volunteers

Furlong, Reuel W.
Reuel Furlong, aged 25 from Calais mustered in as first lieutenant, with Company D, 6th Maine Infantry July 15, 1861. He was promoted to Captain on March 17, 1863. He was killed at Rappahannock Station on November 7, 1863.https://digicom.bpl.lib.me.us/spc_cw_cdv/1011/thumbnail.jp
