Faunal baseline data for E-Baltic hunter gatherers
This dataset gathers relevant bulk stable isotope values from the Stone Age sites at the Eastern Baltic to act as a baseline for the human values discussed in the article "Buried at home? Stable isotope analysis of the late hunter-gatherer cemetery population at Tamula, SE Estonia" (by Tõrv and Eriksson, EJA 27, 2; 10.3176/arch.2023.2.02). These data are gathered from published materials and are important in order to interpret the human values of the three sites - Tamula, Veibri, Zvejnieki - included in the cited study
Step-by-step replacement of cyano groups by tricyanovinyls – the influence on the acidity
The dataset includes supporting information files for the article "Step-by-step replacement of cyano groups by tricyanovinyls – the influence on the acidity". The dataset contains results of optimization and frequency calculations carried out by Turbomole and Gaussian.
Acid-base properties are the simplest expression of compounds’ coordinating ability. In the present work, we studied in silico how the gas-phase Brønsted acidity (GA) of several polycyano substituted compounds change when cyano (CN) groups are replaced by 1,2,2-tricyanovinyl (TCNV) groups in cyanic acid, dicyanoamine, cyanoform, and hydrogen tetracyanoborate. Different tautomers and conformers/isomers are included in the study. Gas-phase acidity values are compared with the acidities of different acids, including percyanated protonated mono-carba-closo-dodecaborate (carborane acid) and dodecaborate, as well as hydrogen cyanide and 1,2,2-tricyanoethene. An estimation of acetonitrile, dimethylsufoxide, and 1,2-dichloroethane acidities are presented using the COSMO-RS method and correlational analysis. The strongest acid with four TCNV groups shows remarkable acidic properties

DigiEfekt: õpilaste isiksuseomadused (student personality)
README-fail (ing k) on leitav DigiEfekti kollektsiooni “Koondfaili” juurest.Õpilase isiksuseomaduste testi tulemuste andmekogu on osa DigiEfekti (DIGIVARA5) koondandmekogust. Andmekogu koosneb tabelist (“personality_data”), kus on esitatud 3., 6. ja 9. klassi õpilaste isiksuseomaduste testi andmed, sh konstruktispetsiifilised tunnused, koodiraamat asub andmetabeli teisel lehel ("Codebook").
[ENG] The student personality test results data set is part of the Digiefekt project (DIGIVARA5) aggregated data set. The data set comprises a table (“personality_data”) presenting the data on the third-, sixth- and ninth-grade students’ personality test, incl. construct-specific variables; the codebook ("Codebook") is found on the second sheet of the data table. Also, there are the main study report (personality_report_est), which describes the instrument and results of the study, and the personality test for students (the distribution of statements across dimensions is elaborated on in the report and in the codebook found in the data file) (“personality_quest_est”).
The personality test for students was developed in the Digiefekt pilot study and was based on 100NP (“100 Nuances of Personality”, Henry & Mõttus, 2022), a set of personality statements compiled at the initiative of René Mõttus; the latter set is also used in the personality study conducted by the Estonian Genome Centre. The advantages of this set of statements are the following: a) comprehensiveness, meaning that the set of statements covers all topics found in common personality tests, b) non-redundancy, meaning that the set of statements has 1–3 statements per topic, no topic is substantially over-represented, and c) readability, meaning that the statements in the set are generally easy to understand.Raporti soovituslik viide eestikeelses allikas: Konstabel, K. DigiEfekt: õpilaste vaimne võimekus (cognitive ability)
README-fail (ing k) on leitav DigiEfekti kollektsiooni “Koondfaili” juurest.Vaimse võimekuse andmekogu on osa DigiEfekti (DIGIVARA5) koondandmekogust. Andmekogu koosneb tabelist (“cognitive_data”), kus on esitatud 3., 6. ja 9. klassi õpilaste andmed, sh konstruktispetsiifilised tunnused, koodiraamat asub andmetabeli teisel lehel ("Codebook"). Lisatud on uuringu instrumenti ja tulemusi kirjeldav raport (“cognitive_report_est”).
Vaimse võimekuse all peetakse muuhulgas silmas võimet teha loogilisi järeldusi, planeerida, mõelda abstraktselt, mõista kirjutatut, lahendada probleemülesandeid. Õpilaste vaimset võimekust hinnati DigiEfekti valimil uuringu jooksul ühel korral põhiuuringu käigus (ajavahemikus 24.11.2021 – 21.04.2022). Vaimsete võimete mõõtmiseks kasutati kahte alltesti Koolipsühholoogide testist (Kikas et al., 2016). Alltest „Järeldamine: kujundid“ koosneb maatriks-tüüpi ülesannetest, millega mõõdetakse järeldamisoskust, laiemalt mitteverbaalseid võimeid. Alltest „Siil“ mõõdab planeerimisoskust, kuid kitsamalt ka teisi täidesaatvaid funktsioone: tähelepanu, töömälu, pidurdusprotsesse, matemaatilisi teadmisi (arvu mõiste, arvude järgnevus). Edasistes analüüsides kasutatakse vaimse võimekuse alltestide tulemusi kontrollmuutujatena.[ENG] The cognitive ability data set is part of the Digiefekt project (DIGIVARA5) aggregated data set. The data set comprises a table (“cognitive_data”) presenting the third-, sixth- and ninth-grade students’ data, incl. construct-specific variables; the codebook is found on the second sheet of the data table ("Codebook"). There is also the report on the study instrument and results (“cognitive_report_est”).
Among other things, cognitive ability refers to one’s ability to draw logical conclusions, plan, think in abstract terms, understand written information and solve problem tasks. Students’ cognitive ability was assessed on the Digiefekt sample once in the course of the study, during the main study (in the period 24.11.2021 – 21.04.2022). To measure students’ cognitive ability, two sub-tests were used from the School Psychologists’ test (Kikas et al., 2016). The sub-test “Matrices” consists of matrix-type assignments measuring the deduction skill, more broadly, nonverbal abilities. The sub-test “Hedgehog” measures the planning skill, but also other executive functions: attention, working memory, inhibitory processes, mathematical knowledge (the concept of number, numerical sequence). In further analyses, the results of the cognitive ability sub-tests will be used as control variables.Raporti soovituslik viide eestikeelses allikas:
