Analysis of Information Governance Principal Implementation in the Management Information System of Indonesian Botanical Gardens’ Plant Collections Data (Makoyana)
Information and data are the new gold in the last decade. The value of information and data has risen since the popularity of the internet. The Internet provides a possibility to exchange information and data without depending on place and time. However, it also opens the possibility of illegal access to the information and misused data and information practices. To solve the issue, the implementation of information governance is needed in the organization or the IT project. One of the essential aspects of information governance is an information security and privacy. It can prevent the leak of information for illegal purposes. Information governance provides a set of policies to control and manage information. The Management Information System of Indonesian Botanical Gardens’ Plant Collection Data (Makoyana) contains valuable information about flora biodiversity in Indonesia. Information on flora biodiversity can be an asset for the Indonesian government that affect some sectors such as politics, economics, laws, and society. For instance, information about a specific flora can be used to develop a new product for cosmetics, medicines, or other purposes that have a positive impact on economics. The implementation of information governance is essential to managing the information and data in the Makoyana project. This research will analyze the implementation of information governance principles in the Makoyana project. Some information governance principles theories will be used to assess the project such as from ARMA international, Smallwood, and Sedona Conference
Pengembangan Startup Sunar Farm Dengan Metode Design Sprint
Sunar Farm is a startup that provides tools for trapping pests and rat repellents on rice plants, which is currently under the guidance of the STMIK Primakara business incubator. Startup Sunar Farm is experiencing problems in sales, there is still no interest from farmers in buying Sunar Farm equipment. The solution that is trying to be applied to these problems is by developing and mapping the business model of the Sunar Farm startup using the Design Sprint method. The Design Sprint method is used to find solutions, validate the problems of Startup Sunar Farm, and use BMC to map changes in the business model of the solutions obtained. The Design Sprint method has 5 stages consisting of understanding to understand the user's problems, the divergence stage to make solutions to existing problems, the decide voting stage for the solution, the prototype stage, namely making the physical form of the selected solution, and the validate stage validating the prototype made. The results of this study using the Design Sprint method obtained several additions to the BMC, namely additions to the customer segment, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, and key partnerships
SENTIMENT ANALYSIS FOR EXTRACTING STUDENT OPINION DATA ON HIGHER EDUCATION SERVICES USING THE NAIVE BAYES CLASSIFIER AND SUPPORT VECTOR MACHINE METHODS (CASE STUDY AKPRIND INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY YOGYAKARTA)
Opinions are ideas, opinions, or the results of someone's subjective thoughts in explaining or addressing something. IST AKPRIND Yogyakarta provides comment and suggestion box facilities in the learning evaluation questionnaire. Opinions that have been collected can be used to determine the sentiment of the campus community. This sentiment information can be used in future campus development. The development of a system that can analyze sentiment automatically is designed by comparing the Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) method and the support vector machine (SVM) optimized by selecting the Information Gain (IG) feature. Prior opinion data needs to be prepared before being analyzed. Preprocessing (text preprocessing) used includes: cleanning, text folding, normalization, stemming, stopword removal, convert negation, and tokenization. The results of this study show that the SVM method produces higher accuracy than NBC. The accuracy test shows the highest accuracy of SVM reaches 99.09% while NBC is 96.56%. The application of IG did not significantly affect the accuracy of the analysis. GI greatly influenced the analysis duration of the SVM method, which could shorten the time by 195.71%
