Get PDF国立国語研究所 研究系 言語変異研究領域名桜大学東京大学Language Variation Division, Research Department, NINJALMeio UniversityThe University of Tokyo本稿では，南琉球八重山語宮良方言の名詞アクセント体系に関する遠隔調査の結果を報告する。今回の調査では次の3点が明らかになった。第一に，先行研究の記述の通り，単純名詞は2つのアクセント型（下降型・平板型）が区別される。第二に，2つの名詞から成る複合語の大部分においては複合語全体の音調が前部要素のアクセント型で決まっており，いわゆる「複合アクセント法則」が成立している。ただし，少数の複合語においては異なるパターンも観察される。第三に，下降型の単純名詞は琉球祖語のA系列に，平板型の名詞はBC系列に所属するという規則的な対応関係が見出される。なお，関連データとして720語の名詞についてその所属情報を提示する。In this report, we present the results obtained during remote fieldwork on the lexical prosodic system of the Southern Ryukyuan Miyara dialect. First, simplex nouns exhibit a two-way tonal contrast between 'falling' and 'flat' word-tones, as reported in the previous literature. Second, the tonal pattern of most of the compounds follows the so-called 'compound rule', whereby the pattern of the whole compound is determined by the tonal class of its first component. Third, a regular correspondence is found between the tonal classes of Miyara and the tonal classes (A, B, C) reconstructed for proto-Ryukyuan, i.e., words belonging to the falling word-tone correspond to class A, whereas words belonging to the flat word-tone correspond to B and C classes.
