Get PDFThe short lecture is not, as usual, a problem-soving presentaion but we hope that despite of this it is not out interest. If we take seriously the role of our mission the topic belongs to the activity of engineering tasks: making the world better. The paper summerises the birth of the idea of VÍZ-MÚZEUM (AQUA-MUSEUM) and the first steps. We hope that the descendants 5-10 year later will apply again for a presentation to make publicity of the success achieved during that period of time. ellenére

Get PDFA propfan rotor model’s acoustical noises can be categorized in multiple ways. Two main groups can be created, as the noise can be either coherent or incoherent. The incoherent noises can be tonal, or broadband noises. The current article investigates the broadband incoherent noise sources, which can be further categorized, but generally speaking, they can be investigated in a wider frequency range, but have smaller sound pressure levels than tonal noise sources. The article investigates the effect of varying the frequency bandwidths.

Egy koaxiális propfan hajtóműmodelljének zajai különböző módon csoportosíthatók. Két főcsoportba sorolhatók a zajforrások az alapján, hogy azok koherensek, vagy inkoherensek. Az inkoherens zajforrások lehetnek mind keskeny- és szelessávú zajok. A jelenlegi cikk a szélessávú inkoherens zajforrásokkal foglalkozik, amelyek tovább kategorizálhatók, de általánosságban elmondható róluk, hogy hatásuk a frekvenciatartományban egy szélesebb sávban érzékelhető, azonban a keskenysávú zajforrásokhoz képest alacsonyabb hangnyomásszinttel rendelkeznek. In addition to illustrating the geometric and dynamic developments, I outline three further possibilities for further development of this key machine element, which is can be at the same time form the basis for further research.

Get PDFPresent paper deals with the evaluation of wind load on the irregular structure of New Millennium Reformed Centre in Timisoara, designed by Imre Makovecz. There are presented the wind loads obtained based on the Romanian national standard as well as on a numerical approach by using computational fluid dynamics. The wind velocity was considered in accordance with the specifications of the current standard. The paper concludes with a comparison of the numerically obtained wind pressure and the values resulted using the simplified approach.

Bemutatásra kerülnek a román nemzeti szabvány alapján kapott szélterhek, majd a folyadékok dinamikája segítségével számított numerikus megközelítést eredményei. Az figyelembe vett szélsebesség az aktuális szabvány specifikációival összhangban történt. In addition to some Hungarian individuals, the experts of the Royal Hungarian Post Office also performed experiments with a spark gap transmitter and some receivers with different systems. Compared to other European countries, Hungary joined the international wireless telegraph traffic relatively late, which was mainly forced by the First World War.

Get PDFSelf-driving cars started to appear in relatively simple traffic situations (e.g. on motorways), but they are more and more expected to come in complicated urban settings. In residential streets several technical elements are used for speed reduction. The goal of the research is to identify proper design of traffic calming equipment in order to be easily recognizable by self-driving (and traditional) cars and for better traffic safety at these locations.

Get PDFThe gigantic technological development of the 19th century significantly changed the thinking of mankind and the people's attitude towards culture and art at the end of the century. Interestingly, there was also a change in the concept of form and shape in women's fashion, just as in the industrial architecture. This process of change played out in a few decades from the sometimes self-serving products that were designed purely based on formal aspects, through the adaptation in form to the opportunities and needs of the industry, to functionalism which utilized the new materials and technologies at maximum level.
