Design and Implementation of a Smart Home Using the OpenHAB System
No full textPráce se zabývá návrhem a realizací systému chytré domácnosti na platformě openHAB. Cílem bylo centralizovat ovládání různých chytrých zařízení do jednotného prostředí a usnadnit jejich správu. V rámci realizace byla provedena instalace systému, výběr a integrace hardwaru a návrh uživatelského rozhraní. Součástí řešení je také implementace automatizačních pravidel a vizualizace dat. Závěrem jsou shrnuty dosažené výsledky a popsány limity systému, například omezená podpora některých zařízení.This thesis deals with the design and implementation of a smart home system using the open-source platform openHAB. The main goal was to control different smart devices from one place instead of using many separate applications. The work includes installing the system, choosing and connecting hardware, and creating a user interface. The solution also uses automation rules and shows data in visual form. In the end, the results confirm the benefits of this approach and mention some limits, for example, support for some devices without official add-ons.Ústav informatiky a umělé inteligenc
Study of Photocatalytic Systems Based on Polymer and Metal Nanoparticles for Hydrogen Production
No full textTato práce zkoumá možnost využití polymerních substrátů pro fotokatalytickou produkci vodíku z nanočástic na bázi oxidu galia/galia nanesených pomocí fyzikální depozice z plynné fáze. Byly testovány dva polymerní substráty, z nichž jeden byl modifikován metodu breath figures v sestrojené atmosférické komoře. Výsledky odhalily, že v porovnání s nativními polymerními substráty je příspěvek fotokatalytických částic k výtěžku vodíku pouze minimální.This thesis explores the use of polymer substrates for photocatalytic hydrogen production via gallium oxide/gallium nanoparticles deposited by physical vapour deposition. Two polymer substrates were tested, one of which was patterned via breath figures method in a custom-built chamber. The results revealed minimal contribution of the photocatalytic nanoparticles to photocatalytic performance, as substantial hydrogen evolution occurred on native polymer samples.Ústav fyziky a mater. inženýrstv

No full textTato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem podnikatelského plánu pro založení veterinární kliniky v Brně, kde bude probíhat radioterapie onkologicky nemocných zvířat pomocí lineárního urychlovače. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou popsány pojmy spojené s podnikáním, právní formy, složky podnikatelského plánu včetně zásad jeho sestavení a analýz trhu, ale také specifika veterinární medicíny a radioterapie. Praktická část představuje konkrétní návrh podnikatelského plánu kliniky. Obsahuje charakteristiku podniku a poskytovaných služeb, analýzu trhu, marketingovou strategii, organizační strukturu, technické vybavení, finanční plán, harmonogram realizace a analýzu rizik. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda má projekt reálnou šanci na úspěch a také navržení konkrétních kroků k jeho realizaci.This thesis focuses on designing a business plan for the establishment of a veterinary clinic in Brno, which will provide radiotherapy treatment for animals with cancer using a linear accelerator. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical section covers key concepts related to business, legal forms, components of a business plan including the principles of its creation and market analysis, as well as the specifics of veterinary medicine and radiotherapy. The practical part presents a concrete proposal of the clinic's business plan. It includes the description of the business and its services, market analysis, marketing strategy, organizational structure, technical equipment, financial plan, implementation schedule, and risk analysis. Use of Piezoelectric Materials for Controlled Radical Polymerization
No full textTato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na optimalizaci piezoelektrických činidel v kontrolované radikálové polymerizaci s přenosem atomu řízené mechanickými silami (zkráceně mechanoATRP). Tato metoda umožňuje syntézu polymerů s přesně definovanou molekulovou hmotností a nízkým indexem disperzity, přičemž reakce probíhá pod externí kontrolou. Pro dosažení co nejvyšší efektivity z hlediska výtěžnosti a rychlosti reakce je nezbytná pečlivá optimalizace piezoelektrického činidla. Z různých piezoelektrických činidel dostupných v literatuře se oxid zinečnatý (ZnO) jeví jako velmi efektivní varianta. Tato práce zkoumá potenciál laboratorně syntetizovaného ZnO a optimalizaci jeho koncentrace. Výsledky ukazují, že ZnO bylo efektivní už v nízkých koncentracích (0,25 hm. %); v optimalizované koncentraci (1 hm. %) bylo dosaženo 87% konverze methyl akrylátu (MA) po 6 hodinách s pozoruhodně nízkou disperzitou, Đ = 1,09. Z celkového hlediska laboratorně syntetizovaný ZnO prokázal výjimečnou účinnost v mechanoATRP, což poukazuje na jeho potenciál pro použití v širším měřítku.This bachelor's thesis focuses on the optimization of piezoelectric agents in the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) mediated by mechanical forces (in short, mechanoATRP). The mechanoATRP enables the synthesis of polymers with the desired molecular weight and a low dispersity index, while having external control over the reaction. To ensure the effectiveness of mechanoATRP in terms of high yields and fast reaction rates, the loading of the piezoelectric agents must be carefully optimized. Among various piezoelectric agents reported in the literature, zinc oxide (ZnO) appears to be effective. This thesis explores the potential of the custom-synthesized ZnO in mediating mechanoATRP, together with the optimization of its loading. The achieved results show that ZnO was effective in low loadings (0.25 wt%), and under optimum loading (1 wt%), it enabled 87% monomer conversion of methyl acrylate (MA) after 6 hours with remarkably low dispersity, Đ of 1.09. Overall, the custom-synthesized ZnO demonstrated the exceptional effectiveness in mediating mechanoATRP, which suggests its potential for larger-scale applicability.Ústav fyziky a mater. inženýrstv
Dental Practise Promotion Project through Educational Videos on Social Media
No full textCieľom diplomovej práce je navrhnúť, realizovať a vyhodnotiť projekt propagácie stomatologickej ordinácie prostredníctvom edukačných videí na sociálnej sieti Instagram so zameraním na zvýšenie informovanosti verejnosti a dopytu po dentálnej hygiene. Teoretická časť sa venuje problematike marketingu v zdravotníctve, vyzdvihuje potenciál sociálnych sietí a predstavuje edukačné video ako efektívny komunikačný nástroj. Praktická časť zahŕňa analýzu súčasného stavu zdravotníckeho zariadenia strategickými analýzami (SWOT, SLEPT, Porter). Na základe dotazníkového šetrenia a štruktúrovaných rozhovorov bol vypracovaný návrh projektu propagácie vrátane časovej, nákladovej a rizikovej analýzy. Výsledkom je zrealizovaný a vyhodnotený projekt, ktorý preukázal pozitívny vplyv videí na zvýšenie povedomia o dentálnej hygiene a zlepšenie vnímania sledovaného zdravotníckeho zariadenia.The aim of the thesis is to design, implement and evaluate a project to promote a dental practice through educational videos on the social network Instagram with a focus on increasing public awareness and demand for dental hygiene. The theoretical part deals with the issues of marketing in healthcare, highlights the potential of social media and introduces the educational video as an effective communication tool. The practical part includes the analysis of the current state of the healthcare facility by strategic analyses (SWOT, SLEPT, Porter's Five Forces). Based on a questionnaire survey and structured interviews, a proposal for a promotion project was developed, including time, cost and risk analyses. As a result, the project was implemented and evaluated, demonstrating the positive impact of the videos on increasing awareness of dental hygiene and improving the perception of the health facility under study.Ústav managementu a marketing

Dalším cílem této práce je zhotovit některé části zmíněných elektráren pomocí FDM 3D tisku.This diploma thesis deals with the design of vertical wind turbine with the incorporation of solar panels into its blades. This hybrid vertical wind turbine is constructed in two variants in this thesis, namely drag and lift. No full textDiplomová práce se zaměřuje na vytvoření projektu kalkulace nákladů podle aktivit (ABC) aplikovaného na pacienty s hraniční poruchou osobnosti, realizovaného v prostředí stacionáře, který je orientovaný na dialektickou behaviorální terapii (DBT). Projekt zahrnuje analýzu prostředí, strukturu nákladů a aktivit, výpočet nákladů na pacienta, stejně jako jejich porovnání s úhradami od zdravotních pojišťoven. V rámci projektu jsou identifikovány klíčové nákladové položky stacionáře DBT a navrženy možnosti jejich optimalizace. Výstupy projektu mohou posloužit jako podklad pro efektivnější řízení nákladů a zlepšování kvality poskytované péče.The thesis focuses on the creation of an activity-based costing (ABC) project applied to patients with borderline personality disorder, implemented in an inpatient setting, which is oriented towards dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). The project includes an analysis of the environment, the structure of costs and activities, the calculation of costs per patient, as well as their comparison with reimbursements from health insurance companies. The project identifies key cost items of the DBT inpatient setting and suggests options for their optimization. No full textDiplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou náboru a onboardingu dobrovoľníčok v neziskových organizáciách, a to na konkrétnom príklade komunitného projektu Ženy z Oravy, ktorý realizuje občianske združenie ZOEE. Cieľom práce je navrhnúť efektívny, prakticky využiteľný a legislatívne súladný systém práce s dobrovoľníčkami, ktorý zohľadňuje potreby organizácie, špecifiká cieľovej skupiny a aktuálne trendy v oblasti dobrovoľníctva. Teoretická časť definuje základné pojmy súvisiace s dobrovoľníctvom, opisuje legislatívny rámec na národnej aj medzinárodnej úrovni, typológiu a kompetencie dobrovoľníkov, ich motiváciu a význam pre rozvoj neziskového sektora. Ďalej sa venuje špecifikám riadenia ľudských zdrojov v neziskových organizáciách, plánovaniu náborových aktivít a onboardingovým procesom vrátane ich psychologických aspektov. Analytická časť práce sa opiera o kvalitatívne aj kvantitatívne výskumné metódy. Kvalitatívnu časť tvorí benchmarking a SWOT analýza na základe štruktúrovaných rozhovorov so zástupcami vybraných neziskových organizácií. Kvantitatívna časť vychádza z dotazníkového prieskumu realizovaného medzi dievčatami vo veku 15 - 20 rokov v regióne Orava, ktorého cieľom bolo zistiť postoje, motivácie a bariéry mladých ľudí k zapojeniu sa do dobrovoľníctva. Projektová časť obsahuje konkrétny systém náboru a onboardingu dobrovoľníčok pre projekt Ženy z Oravy. Navrhovaný proces zahŕňa opis dobrovoľníckych pozícií, spôsob ich propagácie, výberové kritériá, právny rámec, adaptačné mechanizmy, zaškolenie, mentoring, komunikáciu aj nástroje spätnej väzby. Súčasťou návrhu je aj časová, nákladová a riziková analýza. Výsledkom je implementovateľný model, ktorý podporuje stabilné zapojenie dobrovoľníčok, ich osobnostný rast a rozvoj organizácie.This thesis focuses on the issue of volunteer recruitment and onboarding in non-profit organizations, using the case study of the Women from Orava community project, implemented by the civic association ZOEE. The aim of the thesis is to design an effective, practically applicable, and legally compliant system for working with volunteers, reflecting the needs of the organization, the specifics of the target group, and current trends in the field of volunteering. The theoretical part defines key concepts related to volunteering, outlines the legal framework at both national and international levels, describes the typology and competencies of volunteers, their motivation, and their importance for the development of the non-profit sector. It also addresses the specifics of human resource management in non-profit organizations, planning of recruitment activities, and the onboarding process, including psychological aspects. The analytical part is based on both qualitative and quantitative research methods. The qualitative part includes benchmarking and SWOT analysis based on structured interviews with representatives of selected non-profit organizations. The quantitative part draws on a questionnaire survey conducted among girls aged 15 to 20 in the Orava region, aimed at exploring attitudes, motivations, and barriers to volunteering among young people. The proposal section presents a concrete system for the recruitment and onboarding of volunteers for the Women from Orava project. The proposed process includes a description of volunteer roles, communication strategies, selection criteria, legal framework, adaptation mechanisms, training, mentoring, and feedback tools. The proposal also contains a time, cost, and risk analysis.
