Data Collection Framework for Non-Financial Reporting in a Selected Company
No full textTato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou nefinančního reportingu v kontextu evropských regulací. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy výchozího přístupu vybrané firmy k nefinančnímu reportingu navrhnout efektivní rámec sběru dat pro nefinanční reporting v této vybrané společnosti a zhodnotit finanční dopady s ním spojené. V rámci naplnění cílů je rovněž provedena analýza vnitropodnikových směrnic a srovnán přístup konkurenčních firem k této problematice. Na závěr je zpracováno zhodnocení navržených výstupů a jsou diskutovány další kroky. Výsledkem práce je konkrétní návrh implementačního rámce, který má společnosti pomoci v zavedení standardizovaného a transparentního způsobu nefinančního reportingu. Ačkoliv by poslední legislativní návrhy mohly pro vybranou společnost stávající požadavky nefinančního reportingu zrušit, vzhledem kokolnostem, jako je růst firmy, její konkurenceschopnost a očekávání zákazníků, je zveřejňování informací o udržitelnosti stále aktuální výzvou, které se nelze dlouhodobě vyhnout.This thesis addresses the issue of non-financial reporting in the context of European regulations. The aim of the thesis is to propose an effective data collection framework for non-financial reporting in a selected company, based on an analysis of its initial approach to the topic, and to evaluate the financial impacts associated with its implementation. To meet these objectives, an analysis of internal company guidelines is conducted, and the approach of competing firms to this issue is compared. The thesis concludes with an evaluation of the proposed outcomes and a discussion of potential next steps. The result is a specific proposal for an implementation framework designed to help the company establish a standardized and transparent approach to non-financial reporting. Although recent legislative proposals could potentially remove existing non-financial reporting obligations for the selected company, due to factors such as company growth, competitiveness, and customer expectations, the disclosure of sustainability-related information remains a relevant challenge that cannot be avoided in the long term.Ústav financí a účetnictv
Determination of Business Value Using Selected Yield Valuation Methods
No full textTato diplomová práce se zabývá stanovením hodnoty vybraného podniku s využitím vybraných výnosových metod ocenění. Práce je členěna do dvou hlavních částí, a to teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část obsahuje literární rešerši zaměřenou na problematiku oceňování podniků, která tvoří metodický základ pro následující praktickou část. Praktická část je dále rozdělena na část analytickou a projektovou. V analytické části je představen oceňovaný podnik, provedena strategická analýza zkoumající vnitřní i vnější prostředí podniku a rovněž finanční analýza hodnotící jeho finanční situaci. Projektová část navazuje na výsledky části analytické a zahrnuje sestavení finančního plánu a rozdělení majetku na provozně nutná a nenutná aktiva. Dále je určena diskontní míra, na jejímž základě je v závěru stanovena výsledná hodnota podniku.This Master's thesis focuses on the valuation of a selected company using selected yield valuation methods. The thesis is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part contains a literature review focused on the issue of business valuation, which forms the methodological basis for the following practical section. The practical part is further divided into an analytical part and a project part. The analytical part introduces the valued company, provides a strategic analysis examining both the internal and external environment of the business, and includes a financial analysis assessing its financial situation. The project part builds upon the results of the analytical section and includes the preparation of a financial plan and the classification of assets into operationally necessary and unnecessary. The Analysis of the Cryptoassets Payment Function
No full textTato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu problematiky platební funkce kryptoaktiv. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda kryptoaktiva naplňují základní podmínky pro využití jako prostředek směny, a následně je porovnat s tradičními digitálními platebními metodami, jako jsou Visa a Mastercard. V teoretické části jsou popsány hlavní rysy kryptoaktiv, jejich technologické základy, historie i specifické vlastnosti, které je odlišují od běžných měn. Praktická část využívá komparativní analýzu vybraných parametrů, jako je rychlost zpracování transakcí, výše poplatků a míra adopce v běžné praxi. Data byla čerpána z veřejných databází a odborných publikací. Výsledky ukazují, že některá kryptoaktiva mohou v určitých případech plnit platební funkce efektivněji než tradiční systémy, přičemž zásadní výhodou bývá decentralizace a nízké transakční náklady. Skutečné uplatnění těchto výhod však závisí na míře adopce ze strany uživatelů a obchodníků, protože bez dostatečného rozšíření zůstávají potenciální přínosy technologicky efektivních řešení nevyužity.This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the payment function of cryptoassets. The aim of the thesis is to assess whether cryptoassets fulfil the basic conditions for use as a medium of exchange and to compare them with traditional digital payment systems such as Visa and Mastercard. The theoretical part outlines the fundamental characteristics of cryptoassets, their historical development, technological foundations, and the specific features that distinguish them from conventional currencies. The practical part applies a comparative analysis of selected parameters, including transaction speed, fee levels, and the rate of adoption in real-world use. The data were obtained from publicly available databases and academic sources. The findings indicate that some cryptoassets may, in certain cases, perform payment functions more efficiently than traditional systems, particularly due to their decentralised nature and low transaction costs. However, the practical application of these advantages depends on the level of adoption among users and merchants, as the potential benefits of technically efficient systems remain unrealised without broader adoption.Ústav financí a účetnictv

Determination of selected parameters in white wines of different varieties
No full textTato bakalářská práce se zabývá chemickým složením vína se zaměřením na kyseliny a oxid siřičitý. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní charakteristiky vína, jeho dělení, odrůdy bílých vín, vinařské oblasti České republiky a chemické složení vína, včetně jednotlivých kyselin, minerálních látek, cukrů, alkoholů a aromatických sloučenin. Dále je popsán proces výroby vína a laboratorní metody používané k jeho analýze. Praktická část je zaměřena na laboratorní analýzu několika vzorků bílých vín pocházejících z moravských vinařských oblastí. Laboratorní analýza zahrnuje stanovení celkového množství kyselin titrační metodou, zjištění obsahu oxidu siřičitého a kvantitativní určení kyseliny vinné pomocí spektrofotometrického měření. Získané výsledky jsou následně zhodnoceny a srovnány s platnými legislativními normami i s hodnotami běžně udávanými pro bílá vína. Tato část práce přispívá k hlubšímu porozumění chemickému složení vína a jeho vlivu na výslednou kvalitu a chuťové vlastnosti.This bachelor thesis deals with the chemical composition of wine with a focus on acids and sulfur dioxide. The theoretical part describes the basic characteristics of wine, its classification, white wine varieties, wine regions of the Czech Republic and the chemical composition of wine, including individual acids, minerals, sugars, alcohols and aromatic compounds. The wine production process and laboratory methods used for its analysis are also described. The practical part focuses on the laboratory analysis of several samples of white wines originating from Moravian wine regions. Laboratory analysis includes the determination of the total amount of acids by the titration method, the determination of sulfur dioxide content and the quantitative determination of tartaric acid using spectrophotometric measurement. The obtained results are subsequently evaluated and compared with valid legislative standards and with values commonly given for white wines. This part of the thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the chemical composition of wine and its influence on the resulting quality and taste properties.Ústav analýzy a chemie potravi

Furthermore, the thesis focuses on the recycling of polymer products, their reuse and the effect on mechanical properties. Práce se dále věnuje tématům jako nostalgie, postpaměť, hybridní identita a třetí prostor.This Bachelor thesis explores the role of identity, trauma and nostalgia in the memoirs Lipstick Jihad by Azadeh Moaveni and To See and See Again: A Life in Iran and America by Tara Bahrampour. It focuses on how the authors navigate life in the Iranian diaspora and how experiences of living in exile, the Iranian Revolution, and their family dynamics, influence their sense of belonging and their identity formation. Analýza využívá kritickou perspektivu diskurzní analýzy a prvky narativní analýzy jsou použity k odhalení způsobu, kterým bývalí členové popisují své osobní zkušenosti a identitu. Práce pojednává o diskurzu, identitě a analýze diskurzu spolu s pojmem kult, přičemž se v teoretickém přehledu zaměřuje na Mormonskou církev a svědky Jehovovy. Druhá, analytická, část obsahuje analýzy výpovědí bývalých členů dvou vybraných kultů, které jsou následně diskutovány a porovnávány. Výsledky jsou uvedeny v závěru.This bachelor's thesis focuses on how former cult members narrate their points of view in testimonies shared online. The analysis adopts the critical discourse analytical perspective, and the elements of narrative analysis are applied to uncover the way former members describe their personal experiences and identity. The thesis discusses discourse, identity, and discourse analysis, along with the notion of cult, focusing on The Mormon Church and The Jehovah's Witnesses in its theoretical overview. The second, analytical part, contains analyses of former members of the two chosen cults' testimonies, which are then discussed and compared.
