Educational technology applied to adult education
Get PDFAdult learning has been ubiquitous not only in the institutions of higher learning but in the lower learning institutions. As shown by many authors, adult learners often bring with them a high level of experience and higher expectations that positively reflect their performance in their classroom-based activity. This study is done explicitly on educational technology applied in adult learning to enhance the learning activities and increase the level of enrollment in adult learners. Also, the study brings tolight how significant technological advancement in education is to adult learners since a higher percentage of students are busy people with different sets of commitments. The study suggests that faculty members' attitudes toward instructional technology,particularly those geared at adults, need to be re-evaluated to serve their students better. Instructors need to think about how technology might affect the development and use of andragogy in the classroom to help adult learners.Campus Arequip

company Europeru S.A.C under the brand name "modaGuiss" with the aim of generating a
presence on the internet and positioning it in the first Google search results; to increase the
passive and active traffic of the page and therefore, increase in potential customers, interactions,
followers, etc. Finally, the web application “ModaGuiss | Footwear and Shoes” starting from the
design of the page through the analysis of the competition with free tools for searching and
filtering meta information for subsequent implementation of indexing in the consoles of the
aforementioned search engines. With what was obtained as a result, appear in the search results
with the words: ModaGuiss, Zapatos Guiss, Zapatos Huancayo, etc. However, to climb positions

Neonatal factors maternal factors and invasive procedures associated with late neonatal sepsis in the period 2011-2020 systematic review and meta-analysis
Get PDFTo review, evaluate and synthesize available literature on neonatal and maternal factors and invasive procedures associated with late neonatal sepsis during the last ten years.Methods:The databases used for the bibliographic search were: Pubmed/Medline, LILACS, SciELO, and Google Scholar. Analytical studies investigating risk factors for late neonatal sepsis by stages (title, abstract and full text) were selected. The risk of bias was assessed using the Newcastle Ottawa Scale. Heterogeneity was set, and a random-effects meta-analysis was performed for the following risk factors: gender, gestational age, birth weight, Apgar score at ve min, premature rupture of membranes, route of delivery, use of a central venous catheter, and ventilation. Mechanics. The effect was measured with an odds ratio. The certainty of the evidence was determined using the GRADE methodology. The protocol was registered in PROSPERO. Results: Eight studies from 633 records were collected. Heterogeneity was high. Three male studies OR: 1.97(0.26-14.59) p=0.03; I2 =80%, prematurity two studies OR: 2.48 (1.13-5.45); p=0.04; I2 =72%, use of central venous catheter four studies – OR: 3.83 (1.07 – 13.71) p<0.01; I2 =89% and mechanical ventilation four studies OR: 2.83 (1.42 – 5.68); p<0.01; I2 =86%) were independent factors for the development of late neonatal sepsis. Studies had the lowest comparability assessment score when the risk of bias was applied. The results had low certainty of evidence. Conclusion: Male sex, prematurity, use of a central venous catheter, and mechanical ventilation are risk factors for late sepsis.Escuela de Postgrad
Machine learning model through ensemble bagged trees in predictive analysis of university teaching performance
Get PDFThe objective of this study is to analyze and discuss the metrics of the Machine Learning model through the Ensemble Bagged Trees algorithm, which will be applied to data on satisfaction with teaching performance in the virtual environment. Initially the classification analysis through the Matlab R2021a software, identified an Accuracy of 81.3%, for the Ensemble Bagged Trees algorithm. When performing the validation of the collected data, and proceeding with the obtaining of the predictive model, for the 4 classes (satisfaction levels), total precision values of 82.21%, Sensitivity of 73.40%, Specificity of 91.02% and of 90.63% Accuracy. In turn, the highest level of the area under the curve (AUC) by means of the Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) is 0.93, thus considering a sensitivity of the predictive model of 93%. The validation of these results will allow the directors of the higher institution to have a database, to be used in the process of improving the quality of the educational service in relation to teaching performance.Campus Lima Nort
World scientific production on education and COVID 19: a bibliometric analysis
Get PDFThe objective of this study is to characterize the world scientific production on education and COVID-19 between the months of January 2020 to September 2021. A bibliometric study was carried out in five databases (Scopus, Web of Science, Google Academic, Microsoft Academic and Crossref) from which a universe of 5005 articles was extracted. The bibliometric indicators were analyzed with the help of the Publish or Perish v. 7.19 and the same analytical software of the chosen databases. Regarding the most cited article published in the analyzed databases, the one entitled "Medical Student Education in the Time of COVID-19" stands out, which received 419 citations in the Scopus database, 368 in Web of Science, 442 in Crossref, 870 in Google Scholar and 702 in Microsoft Academic. Regarding the authors with the highest scientific production on the subject, Maria Assuncao Flores stands out with 5 publications on the Web of Science and Francisco José García-Peñalvo with 5 articles indexed in the Scopus database. Regarding the journals with the highest number of articles on education and COVID-19, Sustainability stands out. These results show that the scientific production referring to education and Covid-19 confirms the radical change generated in education at all levels by the pandemic and the increase in scientific production to try to explore and describe the changing situation resulting from the pandemic in education. Implementación de un sistema de acceso a la red de datos para mejorar el control de acceso de los dispositivos microinformáticos en una empresa de fabricación y comercialización de alimentos de consumo masivo - 2021
Get PDFLa presente tesis expone la problemática con respecto a la falta de un sistema de acceso a la red centralizado de los dispositivos microinformáticos, debido al crecimiento geográfico de oficinas ubicadas a nivel nacional y al aumento de dispositivos finales que son usados por los usuarios. Por consecuente se desconoce de conexiones no autorizadas en tiempo real el cual puede ocasionar accesos a recursos no autorizados, amenazas y vulnerabilidades en la red de datos. De tal manera el objetivo de la siguiente investigación es implementar un sistema de acceso a la red de datos para mejorar el control de acceso de los dispositivos microinformáticos en la empresa de fabricación y comercialización de alimentos de consumo masivo. Por lo cual, se empleó la metodología PPDIOO de Cisco, la cual consta de 6 fases solidas que se emplean para ejecutar la implementación del sistema de acceso de red. Esto produjo que los resultados obtenidos en la toma de datos sean analizada y entendida para poder realizar la confrontación de los resultados, ante ello se pudo demostrar que la implementación de un sistema de acceso a la red integrada con un servicio externo de autenticación como es el Active Director y mejoró la autenticación de dispositivos autorizados y no autorizados. Además cumpliendo con ciertas políticas de autenticación y por medio de esta puedan acceder a recursos permitidos. Get PDFComo consecuencia de las medidas de contingencia actual (cuarentena) determinadas por las autoridades debido a la fuerte presencia del virus Sars-Cov-2 (COVID-19) en el Perú, las instituciones de nivel superior decidieron continuar con sus actividades académicas haciendo uso de plataformas virtuales de educación. Con ello, se han cambiado las sumillas de todos los cursos, para dar paso al diseño de nuevas actividades de aprendizaje, y con ello, nuevas formas de evaluación adaptadas al contexto virtual. Frente a esto, resulta necesaria una nueva metodología de evaluación, la cual pueda ser objetiva dentro de un contexto virtual en el que se desconoce la veracidad de las respuestas por cuestionario debido a la no-presencialidad. Es por ello que el objetivo de la presente tesis es diseñar e implementar un sistema de evaluación por competencias para la modalidad virtual en un grupo de estudiantes universitarios de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en el año 2021.El enfoque de estudio es cuantitativo, de diseño experimental instrumental. Se trabajó con dos grupos de 109 estudiantes de la carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en el periodo2020-2021en diferentes semestres, siendo que el primer grupo trabajó con el sistema de evaluación tradicional y el segundo con el nuevo diseño propuesto. En ambos casos se realizó una encuesta para determinar si el sistema de evaluación cumple con las características de objetividad requeridas. Se concluye que, en comparación al sistema de evaluación inicial consistente en cuestionarios, se obtuvo una mejora de hasta 1.53 puntos en una escala de valoración del 1 al 5, con el nuevo sistema de evaluación diseñado.Escuela de Postgrad
Body paint and its impact on the argumentation of the integrity of systems and apparatus of the human body
Get PDFThe objective of this research is to explain how Body Paint favors the argumentation of the anatomical structures of the human body in the students of the Morphology and Function course of the Obstetrics career at a Private University of Lima, period 2020-I. the participants that constituted the sample of the present study were 15 students of the 2nd cycle of the Morphology and Function I course. The methodology used developed a qualitative approach, descriptive - explanatory scope and phenomenological design. For the collection of information, interviews and an observation guide were applied to the students applying Body Paint. The results reveal that students easily apply the Body Paint technique, they find it very practical, it does not take much time, but above all it helps to understand anatomy and physiology in a playful, colorful and simple way. By having the experience of representing the anatomical pieces, the process is more significant and experiential learning consolidates knowledge, allowing students to argue the integration of systems and devices of the human body. The study concludes that the Body Paint technique is a simple to apply and functional learning resource, which favors the argumentation of the integration of systems and devices of the human body as a learning achievement through the understanding and explanation of the anatomy, the study of form, physiology and the study of function.Escuela de Postgrad
Trabajo colaborativo para fortalecer la empatía como parte de la formación del profesional de la salud
Get PDFEl trabajo colaborativo se fundamenta en la formación profesional del sector salud, es una característica necesaria sí la atención se enfoca fundamentalmente en el paciente, lo cual desarrolla empatía en el profesional con la única intención de brindar una atención integral al paciente y aprender de manera conjunta. El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar el aporte del trabajo colaborativo para fortalecer la empatía como parte de la formación del profesional de la salud. Las fuentes que se verificaron fueron Ebsco, Scielo, Dialnet, Pubmet y Google Académico, se revisaron 25 estudios de los cuales se obtuvieron 19 que cumplieron con los criterios, cuyos resultados resaltan la importancia de la educación interprofesional, el trabajo colaborativo y la empatía. Get PDFEl presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional cumple el objetivo principal, el diseño e implementación de un sistema de soldadura automatizado para incrementar la producción de anclajes tipo tubo Swellex en la empresa Factory Automation Perú S.A.C. El cual de todos los procesos de la producción, se centra en la etapa de soldadura, que tendrá un aumento de producción de un 100%, manteniendo la homogeneidad de la soldadura y disminuyendo el tiempo en el que sale un tubo Swellex ya soldado. Para el proceso de diseño se tuvo en consideración un análisis empírico de la forma en cómo se realizaban los procesos de soldadura en la línea de producción manual, el cual determina las operaciones de movimiento que va a realizar el tubo Swellex dentro del sistema automatizado. Para ello se hará uso de la metodología explicativa en relación causa efecto, así mismo para el desarrollo del objetivo principal, el presente trabajo integra: El diseño mecánico que realizará las operaciones de soldadura, la plataforma de transporte de tubos hacia los cabezales y el alimentador de tubos Swellex, así mismo el cálculo y selección de componentes neumáticos, eléctricos y electrónicos. Se presentará el presupuesto para la implementación del sistema automatizado.
