    PENERAPAN METODE TOPSIS DALAM PENENTUAN DOSEN TERBAIK

    Appreciation for the performance of a worker is very important in the aim of valuing his efforts for the institution. In the world of education, especially universities, lecturers are one of the main components in building quality and quantity. The good quality of lecturers should also provide good quality graduates, while the quantity or number of lecturers will affect the number of students in the college. In the aim of building the quality of lecturers, the award in the form of ranking the best lecturers can be an alternative trigger for quality improvement. Decision support systems (DSS) can be a tool that helps rank the best lecturers, of course with criteria to produce ranking alternatives. The length of work, achievements and tridharma (teaching, research, and consecration) of higher education is used as a criterion to obtain the best alternative rank of lecturers from the number of lecturers as many as 20 people. Lecturer data is taken from the telecommunication engineering study program Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto (ITTP). The TOPSIS method was chosen in this multicriteria DSS, the result was 6 selected lecturers to be the best alternative lecturers and from these results it turned out that the most influential was the number of research and teaching rankings, while the duration of work did not affect much

This study describes the usage of a Robot Operating System (ROS) middleware to answer the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 for control the industrial electronic devices and household electronic equipment using Raspberry Pi. ROS has nodes, topics and messages that can be used to manage the Raspberry Pi GPIO pins to be active high (1) or active low (0). The result of this study is the system be able to control the on and off electronic devices through the GPIO pins of Raspberry Pi and relay module based on message commands from the ROS node. The electronic devices had controlled in this study are a fan, light, air conditioner, and room heater that have 110/220 AC voltage

    Bina Darma University is one of the higher education institutions in South Sumatra Province. Bina Darma University has made a real contribution in the world of Education, especially in the South Sumatra Province. To ensure the smooth running of the academic routine, Bina Darma University has a special directorate, namely The Directorate of Systems and Information Technology (DSTI). The directorate's main task is to ensure the availability of IT services to support academic activities. One of the services currently available is a mobile-based academic information system (UBD on your hand). Where this service is a development service from an existing web-based academic information system. But to ensure that the service remains well-established, it is necessary to know how the user's perspective on an IT service such as the UBD application on your hand. To find out how far the user is using usability techniques using the system usability scale approach as a measurement tool. The measurement results obtained an average value of 87.2 indicating that the mobile-based academic information system (UBD on your hand) was viewed from an adjective rating including excellence category, seen from the grade scale including group B, and in terms of acceptability including acceptable groups. Thus, the category can be accepted by the user and feasible to use without repairs.

Batu Mekar village has many products in the form of handicrafts such as bags, lamp decorations made from ketak or agricultural and plantation products such as coffee, palm sugar and others. The problem that exists in Batu Mekar Village is the low sales price of handicraft products because the product is only left at a souvenir shop. The decrease in the number of sales was not due to a decrease in the number of tourists who ended up on the island of Lombok due to the earthquake. In addition, the limited promotion media. This research was developed using the Rapid Application Development method. This research resulted in an online sales information system as a medium for handicraft sales, so that the public could directly sell their products without going through intermediaries as well as promotional media so that handicraft products can be sold directly and can be recognized by the wider community. The developed application can be used as a promotional medium as well as a means of selling Batu Mekar village handicraft products

If the increase occurs, it will cause congestion. Congestion was a factor that greatly affect the efficiency of the transport system, where the transportation system is a form of attachment and the interconnected between the passenger, shuttles and infrastructure that interact in order to transfer people or goods, which is covered in an order, either by natural or artificial or engineered. It takes the right planning strategies in addressing conditions congestion such as implementation of reconfiguration of the route network, a program that using dynamical systems in proper design and planning, and the determination of the most appropriate scenario can improve the efficiency of the transportation system. This research uses scenario through reconfiguration of network routes to improve the efficiency of the transportation system. in this study, this scenario is considered to be the most appropriate to increase the efficiency of vehicle travel time by way of the transfer of light vehicle routes that will go towards the Urip Sumoharjo street because it results in a reduction in travel time by 1.2% of travel time before the scenario

    PENDEKATAN HYPER HEURISTIC DENGAN KOMBINASI ALGORITMA PADA EXAMINATION TIMETABLING PROBLEM

    Generally, exam scheduling is still done manually and definitely will take a long time. Many researches have developed various studies to find a more appropriate strategy. Hyperheuristic was proposed in this study. In Hyperheuristic, Simple Random is used as a strategy for selecting low-level-heuristic while Hill Climbing and Simulation Annealing as move acceptance strategy. The Carter dataset is used as a test for the algorithms. We proposed testing datasets with a time limit of 15 minutes up to 1 hour and the results were compared with the research conducted by Carter et al (1996) as an initial study using that dataset. In addition, dataset, the number of iterations, and the time limit are as same as one of the literatures which will then be compared. The results obtained show that one pair of algorithms proposed in this study is better than the literature while other algorithms also provide significant results

    Human Resources is an important asset in the company to be able to achieve company goals, the selection of the best employees is a way that companies do to motivate employee performance. Company leaders usually have difficulty in evaluating employee performance with various assessment indicators available. This results in decisions that are not objective, to be able to process the best employee selection data that is more accurate and more objective results. Then the Decision Support System is needed in the selection of the best employees. In this study there were 25 Alternative Employees who had met the best employee selection requirements that were processed using the Simple Additive Weighting method and based on 5 assessment criteria, namely the criteria of loyalty, responsibility, behavior / ethics, cooperation, and attendance. From the results of the calculation of the SAW method obtained a top 10 ranking and also obtained that employee work loyalty is very influential on the calculation results with a weight of 30% of the overall weight

    Intrusion Detection System (IDS) is a software or hardware that can be used to detect any abnormal activity in the network. Situations often arise from various network access in the form of information or data that can cause problems. Detection is a system for detecting activities that are disturbing data access in information. IDS has two methods of doing detection, namely Rule Based (Signature Based) and Behavior-Based. Anomaly traffic can detect an increase in the number of user access and at any time there will be an attack from another party on the network. This study uses 2 algorithm methods are Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM). Naïve Bayes results through the Distributions and Radviz graph data samples have a probability value of 0.1 and the highest probability value is 0.8. Support Vector Machine (SVM) produces a graph that has greater accuracy
