Edukasi Penggunaan Moda Transportasi yang Aman Bagi Pelajar SMK Purnama 01 Semarang
Get PDFThis community service activity aims to educate students of SMK Purnama 01 Semarang about safe transportation options, focusing on reducing the risk of traffic accidents involving students. The main issue is the high number of accidents involving students using private vehicles and their limited understanding of traffic safety. The objective of this activity is to raise students\u27 awareness of the importance of choosing safe transportation modes and applying the principles of "safety riding." The methodology employed includes field surveys, discussions with activity partners, and training on driving safety. This training covers the use of personal protective equipment and understanding traffic regulations. As a result, the activity led to an increase in students\u27 knowledge of traffic safety, particularly regarding the use of helmets and seat belts, as well as the application of safe driving principles. Additionally, the activity raised students\u27 awareness of accident risks and how to respond to them. The enthusiasm of the students in participating in the training and discussions indicates that this educational approach is effective in enhancing their understanding. In conclusion, this service has positively impacted the transportation safety of SMK Purnama 01 Semarang students and highlights the importance of integrating transportation safety education into the school curriculum to ensure safer travel for students on the road
Pelatihan Penggunaan Octave pada Pembelajaran Matematika untuk Guru-Guru SMA di Kabupaten Sukabumi Provinsi Jawa Barat
Get PDFAn important aspect that needs attention to support success in the learning process is the teacher\u27s competency. One of the key competencies required by teachers is mastery of technology, which supports the development of TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge)-based learning. Additionally, mastery of technology can help develop learning media and serve as a learning aid. One of the software that can be used as an option for learning media is Octave. Octave is open-source software, allowing teachers to access it for free. It can be used as a medium/teaching tool to explain various mathematical concepts, such as functions, function limits, derivatives, integrals, and more. This training was attended by high school teachers and took place at Al Bayan Superior High School, Sukabumi Regency. During the training, participants were taught how to use Octave in mathematics instruction to enhance teacher competency. The results of the training show that the use of Octave can support learning in schools by boosting teacher competency and inspiring teachers to become more professional. This, in turn, leads to improved learning quality in schools, which ultimately enhances the overall quality of education

No full textThe purpose of this study was to determine the Representation of Muslim Women in Wardah Advertisements. This study uses a qualitative method with an analysis of representation in Wardah\u27s advertisement Kisah dibalik Cantik "Palam Baru". The results of the study indicate that the concept of beauty contained in the Wardah advertisement "Kisah dibalik Cantik versi Halaman Baru" has changed. If so far beauty has been represented by the sensual appearance of women such as wearing minimal and tight clothes, then Wardah\u27s advertisement instead displays the concept of women\u27s beauty with Islamic clothing that is identical to a covered appearance. Wardah targets the market of all women in Indonesia as its consumers through the image of Muslim women. The beauty of Muslim women in Wardah advertisements is not only depicted by the covering of body parts by wearing a hijab. Wardah tries to invite Muslim women to combine make-up and hijab to be able to look beautiful, because the hijab is used as a symbol of the latest beauty fashion for Muslim women. Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to understand the meaning of friendship in cigarette advertisements with friendship in everyday life. The theory used in this study is Roland Barthes\u27 semiotics with his ideas known as the concept of denotation, connotation and myth. The results of the study show that the denotative meaning depicted in the U Mild Versi Bersaudara Itu Soal Rasa advertisement describes a friendship that is faced with challenges and competition in life that has very difficult trials. Furthermore, the connotation that can be described is that despite all these challenges, humanity must be prioritized. The struggle to achieve a desired goal will be easier if the activity is done or carried out together. However, if observed, the advertisement actually shows competition between individuals in achieving their goals. Thus, the myth that the advertisement tries to convey describes that in friendship relations, there is an individualistic attitude that will emerge in every effort to solve problems, challenges and achieve each other\u27s goals.Keywords: Message, Advertisement, Semiotics, Roland Barthe
Design and Development Optimized FIFO Queue System for Food Outlets
Get PDFIn today\u27s fast-paced food service industry, the efficiency of queue management is vital to operational success, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This study evaluates an integrated queue management system\u27s impact on these critical areas. The results show an average satisfaction score of 80.11% from customers and 90.37% from food outlet owners, demonstrating the system\u27s strong effectiveness. The research focused on the importance of reducing perceived waiting times through real-time updates, which enhance customer tolerance and satisfaction. By combining online and onsite ordering, the system provides real-time updates, order tracking, and notifications to boost efficiency and minimize cancellations. Despite some identified weaknesses, such as the absence of direct customer reviews and existing bugs, the system holds significant potential for improving user experience. These findings highlight the necessity for continuous development and maintenance to optimize the system further. Overall, this approach promises to advance the operational capabilities and customer satisfaction levels of food outlets
PENGARUH PENERAPAN ROUTING I-BGP TERHADAP WAKTU FAILOVER DALAM JARINGAN LOKAL
Get PDFKeandalan jaringan komputer menjadi elemen penting dalam mendukung berbagai sektor di era digital. Failover, mekanisme pengalihan otomatis ke jalur cadangan saat jalur utama gagal, sangat bergantung pada kecepatan respons dan kemampuan protokol routing. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi efektivitas Internal Border Gateway Protocol (I-BGP) dalam mempercepat waktu failover pada jaringan lokal berbasis Mikrotik yang terhubung melalui VPN. Performa I-BGP dibandingkan dengan OSPF, RIP, dan Static Routing melalui pengujian waktu failover, jumlah paket hilang, dan efisiensi bandwidth. Hasil menunjukkan I-BGP memiliki waktu failover tercepat (0,51 detik), kehilangan paket minimal (2 paket), dan utilisasi bandwidth tertinggi (95%). Uji ANOVA mengonfirmasi perbedaan signifikan antar protokol (F=776,898, p<0,001). Temuan ini menegaskan keunggulan I-BGP sebagai solusi optimal untuk failover cepat dan andal. Dimasa mendatang tantangan dan kompleksitas dari jaringan internet akan semakin besar, untuk itu perlu diadakan kajian komprehensif dan penelitian lebih lanjut tentang gangguan konektifitas yang berkaitan dengan faktor keamanan, dan solusi dengan penggunaan kecerdasan buatan.The reliability of computer networks is a crucial element in supporting various sectors in the digital era. Failover, an automatic switching mechanism to a backup route when the main route fails, heavily depends on response speed and the capability of routing protocols. This study evaluates the effectiveness of Internal Border Gateway Protocol (I-BGP) in accelerating failover time on a local network based on Mikrotik connected via VPN. The performance of I-BGP is compared with OSPF, RIP, and Static Routing through tests on failover time, packet loss, and bandwidth efficiency. The results show that I-BGP has the fastest failover time (0.51 seconds), minimal packet loss (2 packets), and the highest bandwidth utilization (95%). ANOVA testing confirms significant differences among the protocols (F=776.898, p<0.001). These findings highlight the superiority of I-BGP as an optimal solution for fast and reliable failover. In the future, as network complexity and challenges increase, comprehensive studies and further research on connectivity disruptions related to security factors and AI-based solutions will be necessary
The Threat of Virality Manipulation in Social Media Towards Deliberative Democracy
Get PDFIntroduction: The use of social media as a channel for political communication is becoming increasingly common in modern society. Some users seek virality to influence public opinion. Among them, some employ manipulative tactics to achieve virality, which can undermine deliberative democracy. Unfortunately, the impact of manipulative virality on deliberative democracy has not received sufficient attention. This study aims to describe how manipulative virality poses a threat to deliberative democracy. The researchers focus on five social media platforms--X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, because Indonesians widely use these for political communication.
Methods: The researchers use a qualitative, exploratory approach, focusing on relevant documents using interpretive analysis and observation to study of X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
Findings: Research identifies four methods of manipulative virality that undermine deliberative democracy: using fake accounts, deploying bots, paying buzzers, and spreading hoaxes. These practices threaten and subvert deliberative democracy by creating false appearances of support, potentially distorting public opinion, misleading policymakers, and damaging society. Manipulative virality often benefits wealthy groups, as they can afford to pay buzzers and deploy bots, unlike poorer groups.
Originality: This study explores the role of social media in public discourse to promote deliberative democracy. It offers novelty by presenting an in-depth analysis that digital media has the potential to undermine deliberative democracy due to the use of bots, fake accounts, and paid influencers. The findings emphasize the importance of preserving authentic public dialogue while addressing unethical practices that manipulate social media for personal or political gain.Public voices that go viral on social media often succeed in influencing public policies. This phenomenon indicates the public\u27s participation as a sign of the vitality of deliberative democracy in society. Therefore, people constantly strive to make their information on social media go viral. However, these methods tend to undermine deliberative democracy itself. This article focuses on the behaviour of individuals in seeking virality through means that undermine democracy. This topic is essential to address to maintain and enhance the quality of democratic practices. Unfortunately, there is limited attention given to this topic. Researchers uncover this issue through a qualitative approach, specifically exploratory research. The objects of this study are the social media platforms Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, as well as relevant documents. The researchers employ document analysis and direct observation of social media accounts. Based on the research, four methods of virality that undermine deliberative democracy are identified: the use of fake accounts, deploying bots, paying influencers for promotion, and the dissemination of misinformation. These four practices tend to violate the principles of deliberative democracy, potentially creating false public opinions, misleading policymakers, and even harming society. The researchers propose recommendations for the government, as the regulator ensuring the life of democracy through digital media, to establish rules that prevent and eliminate behaviours on social media that damage deliberative democracy

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui culture food pada anak stunting di wilayah Pagesangan Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus. Unit analisis yang menjadi sasaran pada penelitian ini adalah para orangtua yang anaknya terkena stunting, dan kader wilayah Pagesangan barat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun analisis data menggunakan interactive model dari Miles, Matthew Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kasus stunting masih banyak terjadi di Pagesangan Barat yang disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan orangtua terhadap kebutuhan gizi anak juga pola makan yang tidak teratur yang berkaitan dengan frekuensi makan, jenis dan jumlah makanan. Orang tua yang cenderung membebaskan anaknya untuk memakan apa saja menyebabkan pola makan tidak teratur sehingga berakibat terhadap kurangnya asupan nutrisi yang diperoleh oleh anak. Pola makan ibu sedari hamil, serta, adanya stigma negative tentang stunting yang ada di masyarakat menyebabkan orang tua menyangkal anaknya di diagnosis stunting dan tidak mengizinkan anaknya mendapatkan perlakuan khusus layaknya anak stunting

Sosialisasi Titik Kritis Keamanan Pangan dan Pembuatan Produk Saus Tomat Di SMK N 4 Kendal
Get PDFProgram pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa SMK N 4 Kendal terkait titik kritis keamanan pangan dan keterampilan memproduksi saus tomat yang aman serta berkualitas. Kegiatan dimulai dengan menjalin kemitraan dengan pihak sekolah dan menyusun media komunikasi berupa leaflet yang berisi informasi keamanan pangan dan tahapan pembuatan produk. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui ceramah interaktif, menitikberatkan pada aspek kebersihan bahan baku, peralatan, serta proses pengolahan. Evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa, dengan rata-rata pemahaman meningkat dari 60-70% menjadi di atas 80-90%. Metode yang diterapkan terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan materi secara praktis dan aplikatif. Selain memahami konsep teoretis, siswa mampu mempraktikkan keamanan pangan dalam pembuatan saus tomat, termasuk memilih bahan alami tanpa tambahan berbahaya. Program ini diharapkan berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesadaran dan kesiapan siswa untuk terlibat di industri pangan
