Get PDFHealth care field is one of the focused fields in Japanese economy because of the potential opportunities to develop new businesses based on rapidly advancing information and communication technologies (ICT) in Japan.In this article, the author demonstrates how large industrial organization embedded the health care business, which was far different from the existing businesses, in a broad-based and highly systemic way by presenting the strategic concept which conceptually made up of three nested layers - market space, business space and organizational space -. To challenge these business developments, the author presents key agenda, and also describes the basic thoughts and methods, which are common across almost all the new business development, based on more than twenty years frontline experience in operating and managing health care businesses
An Analysis of Interprovincial Labor Migration in China Base on Harris & Todaro Model
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to analyze factors of interprovincial labor migration in China from rural areas to urban areas and to amplify the validity of Harris and Todaro Model by examining the selection of variables and data.In 1995 the difference in financial investment provided a significant effect on labor migration. In 2000 wage difference between rural areas and urban areas gave a significant effect on member of labor migration. But in 2005 the difference among employees of non-government enterprises provided a significant effect on labor migration.By introducing time dummy variables to the model that shows structural changes by increases of estimated value of time dummy variable teams.It is indicated that in 1995～2005 labor migration is getting easier, and if means more people in rural areas tend to migrate into urban areas
