Health Risk From Radioactive Iodine (RAI) Therapy And Medical Imaging- A Short Review
Different role of radioactive iodine (RAI) has a different dosage. RAI is the effective treatment for cancer but has a short or long side effects such as xerostomia and loss of taste or smell. Ablation, adjuvant and therapeutic is the role of RAI and all of it has risk. RAI tend to increase the survival for the patient on progression-free survival and disease- free survival. Aside from that, computed tomography radiation has
been associated to a small but significant increase in the chance of fatal cancer during a person’s lifetime. This review aims to promote public awareness and lead initiatives to eliminate unneeded computed tomography scans. Despite evidence of recognized hazards of radiation-related computed tomography and cancer induction, the usage of pediatric computed tomography continues to rise. In the United States of America, more than 60 million computed tomography scans are projected to be conducted each year, with 7 million of those being performed on children. To decrease radiation exposure, pediatric radiologists employ the ALARA ('as low as reasonably achievable') concept. This idea is reinforced through education and lobbying directed towards recommending physicians. Clinical strategies that restrict computed tomography scanning and encourage non-radiation imaging modalities like ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging might help decrease radiation exposure even further. Although individual risk estimates are tiny, the widespread use of computed tomography in the community may result in future public health concerns

A Mathematical Model of Geared DC Motor Based of Overhead Crane Control System Prototype
Overhead crane system is largely used in the heavy industries as the main part of material handling mechanism. The overhead crane operated by the electric motor and its controller shall fulfill two major requirements which are fast response as well as accurate positioning during moving the goods from one location to another location. However, to simulate the real overhead crane system is tedious and time consuming due to the large structure and safety reasons. Thus, this project will try to simulate the performance of the prototype version of the overhead crane system that has been predicted to perform like the original one but in a small scale. In order to simulate that, a mathematical model of the geared DC motor-based of overhead crane control system prototype shall be formulated. The mathematical model is developed and tested by using Matlab/Simulink software. The mathematical model is being tested in two conditions, without controller and with controller. To acquire the gain value of the controller, first method of the Ziegler-Nichols method is applied. The developed model will be verified for various positions and loads. The performance of the model will be measure in terms of the time response which are rise time, peak time, percentage overshoot, and settling time as well as the steady-state error for the position accuracy. The results will confirm that a good mathematical model will give the best projection to imitate the performance of the real size of the overhead crane.

Conceptual Design And Simulation Analysis Of Dough Mixer-Maker Machine
Collecting information on the use of kitchen appliances i.e. dough mixers is important to provide a more efficient and high-quality system and design. Nowadays, dough mixers that can only knead the dough are widely used to get a complete dough while saving time. Therefore, a dough mixer machine that operates with two functions such as McDuo Maker Machine is developed to save users time in kneading the dough as well as forming the finished dough into a cake according to the set mold. Currently, the machines developed in the market only work for kneading dough. Therefore, this machine is developed to produce a machine that can operate with two functions namely mixing the dough and forming the dough into a cake
Design Modification and Structure Simulation Analysis of Tapioca Peeling Machine
This project works on the design of a tapioca peeling machine for peeling freshly harvested tapioca tubers with the capacity of peeling tubers of different weight and diameter sizes. The need to mitigate the low output, drudgery, high labor costs and losses associated with manual peeling called for the design of the machine to improve the agricultural yield of the crop. The objectives of the research were to study the existing tapioca peeling technologies, to select and size the machine components, to develop the layout of the machine and to carry out the cost analysis of the tapioca peeling machine. To solve the problem, the innovation was formulated to peel tapioca skin with two stage of peeling (the first layer and the second layer) to increase productivity. From simulation of eco-auto-tap , the design of machine can work succesfully, and be a great improvement in the tapioca machin
Photoelectrochemical Process of Producing Hydrogen Gas Energy from Brewery Wastewater
The major portion of the energy needs of the world are obtained from fossil fuels. However, the future of fossil fuel is beclouded with environmental threats and degradation, which has caused an adverse effect on human health. Therefore, seeking a non-polluting alternative energy source has become important and necessary. Hydrogen gas energy constitutes low-cost energy without any negative impact on the environment and human health. Furthermore, Hydrogen gas energy can replace fossil fuels based on its physical and chemical properties. This research aims to produce hydrogen gas via a photo-electrochemical process unit using brewery wastewater. The specific objective is to design and fabricate a new electrolyzer to produce hydrogen gas from brewery wastewater. A new fabricated photo-electrochemical electrolyzer of dimension 24 cm x 42 cm x 28 cm was designed with a 10-plate stainless-steel electrode. The electrolyzer was connected upwardly to a gas storage container, dc compressor, and a gas cylinder. The electrolyzer was connected to a 12 Volt 9 Amps battery, two-100W solar panels. A mixture of 8 liters of brewery wastewater and 160 grams of NaOH was charged into the electrolyzer, after which the electrolysis process commenced. The process was left for 5 days. Within these times, hydrogen and carbon dioxide gases were produced simultaneously and collected by the upward method. The produced gases were compressed by high pressured gas cylinders respectively using a compressor of 350 bars. Voltage and current supplied by solar panels to the electrolyzer were monitored. The maximum and minimum voltage and current readings were ranged between 3.63 V – 13.60 V and 1.83 A -7.81A, respectively. This result revealed that high voltage and near-constant amperage readings would produce more hydrogen gas than low voltage readings. The weight of hydrogen produced after 5 days of observations was 2.01kg. This study demonstrated that hydrogen gas energy could be produced from locally made non-polluting devices, turning brewery wastewater into a useful form of energy and creating a carbon-free environment.

The Beautiful Mind : A Case Report
Caring for a family member diagnosed with schizophrenia will not only impart a lifetime of emotional distress but also social and financial challenges. Failure to anticipate and cope with the burden of care responsibilities will add unnecessary risk to permanent injury resulting in substandard management of the patient and even death. We describe a case of successful removal of nine (9) constricting rings from the finger of both hands in a poorly taken care of an abusive relapse schizophrenia patient using an oscillating saw and ring cutter under procedural sedation combined with wrist block in the emergency department (ED). Early recognition and definitive treatment are of paramount importance to avoid irreversible ischemia and gangrene. The possible risk of negligence should be kept in mind bearing a link with depression among members caring for schizophrenia.
