The Influence of Banking Risk on Efficiency: The Moderating Role of Inflation Rate
The increasing business activities of state-owned banks in Indonesia increases risks. This circumstance can impact the level of state-owned banks’ efficiency. Thus, this research analyses the influence of banking risks on the state-owned banks’ efficiency in Indonesia from 2016 to 2019. Moreover, inflation as one of the macroeconomic factors may also affect the relationship between banking risks and efficiency; hence, this research also examines the inflation role as a moderating variable of this relationship. The samples of this research are all state-owned banks in Indonesia. Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression analysis shows that liquidity risk and credit risk have positive and significant influences on efficiency. However, inflation as a moderating variable has no significant influence on efficiency. Inflation also fails to moderate the relationship between liquidity risk and efficiency of state-owned banks in Indonesia. Nevertheless, inflation successful moderates the relationship between credit risk and efficiency

Consumption has been a fundamental driver of economic growth, and the insufficient consumption spending will lure firms to lay off workers which can lead to short run fluctuation in the economy. The study employed a dynamic panel model with a set of estimation strategies such as fixed and random effect, Anderson and Hsiao (1982) estimation, difference and System-Generalized Methods of Moment and Least Square Dummy Variable estimation methods to correctly assess how annual GDP growth affect consumption spending in these countries including additional variables such as, Lag consumption spending, foreign direct investment, consumer prices as a measure of inflation and a vector of control such as capital formation and annual population growth. The study found that annual GDP growth and Foreign direct investment has a significant impact on increasing consumption spending thus annual GDP growth is the most crucial factor for increasing consumption spending in these countries. Moreover, lagged consumption spending is also found to have a negative significantly effect in reducing current consumption spending while gross capital formation and annual population growth are found to have an insignificant effect in reducing consumption spending in all the estimates except in the Anderson and Hsiao (1982) estimation method which shows a positive relationship with consumption spending

Consistency and Law Comparison in Consumer Protection Law Design in the Light of the Socially Responsible Market Economy Approach
Social justice is an essential issue in the development of Indonesian law of the 21st century. Consumer protection is an aspect of social justice because it maintains "equality of arms" between suppliers and consumers. The more technological developments are integrated into social life and thus also into the business competition process, the greater the importance of consumer protection becomes, because the use of disruptive technologies, for example artificial intelligence, can shift the balance between providers and consumers in favour of economically strong providers. This will lead to the need to redefine the position of consumer protection in the Indonesian legal system. Law No. 8/1999 on Consumer Protection in its current form follows a rather ambiguous systematic approach by not clearly distinguishing between individual and social-functional protection purposes of consumer protection. The article argues for creating the methodological framework for a possible revision of the Indonesian consumer protection law with a strong integration of cultural-empirical and scientific-systematic viewpoints
