An UnWelcomed Visitor
Nnamdi
I can’t do this
I’m not good enough
Forget it
You are bad at this 
Rejected
Not worth their time
Your submission has been rejected
You hear their steps 
It gradually gets loud
It is knocking on your Door
 “I am not here sorry”
It is banging now
The hinges desperately call for help 
You try to give it support
But it is too strong
The doubts make themselves comfy 
They found their home
As my dreams pack away 
The fears roam
Enjoying the new place 
Their dirt fills
What was once a clean space
Days 
Weeks 
Months 
It stays
the mind games It plays
I am in a dark cave 
As it holds its sway
Looking beyond depths
In hope for a flicker’s gleam 
Wanting a spark of hope
To give life to a dead stream 
But for now, this is a setback
One day, I will be on the get-back
