Current Trends in Early Pedagogy
A child’s education at an early school age is a major challenge, both at theindividual and society levels. Its present shape is conditioned by, on the onehand, the development of science, especially psychology, pedagogy and didac-tics; on the other hand, by the changing socio-cultural, political and economicreality. Teaching English Elementary Pupils – Problems and Solutions
The article investigates some problems that foreign language teachers may face when working with young pupils. They include especially poor memory, difvculties of distinguishing similar sounds, understanding the relations of a letter and a sound, decoding single words and so on. Some learners with learning diuculties and disorders present even more challenges for their language teachers. Furthermore, the author provides guidance for teachers that may help to overcome these problems. Thus, it is hoped the present paper will contribute not only to a better understanding of the problem area of diucult learners, but will also encourage teachers to implement some new solutions in their regular lessons

The article emphasizes the fact that intercultural dialogue influences education. Europe faces this process nowadays and that has an impact on the notion of meaning of life. The article attempts to point out that the notion of meaning of life is a topical, stable problem also in the period of globalization and cultural clash.
