Get PDFLiteracy is believed to contribute plenty of benefits to both students and community helping them understand problems more clearly. One way to develop literacy is through building up reading habit. The border community, residing the border of Indonesia and Timor Leste, badly needs the literacy development both conceptually and feasibly through some practical techniques. One of the methods offered here is Mind Mapping. Mind mapping method gave benefits for users effectively and efficiently when they had implemented it simultaneously. People could write and took main issues from materials studied and kept long term. This activity was targeted at the OKL Street Library community or users that comprised students and volunteers who actively interacted at the OKL Street Library reading Venue. The aim to be achieved, was the enhancement of students and volunteers’ knowledge and skills towards a concept or a learning material in a more creatively, innovatively and participatorily by utilizing the mind mapping method. Students were also given a couple of books to increase their literacy culture. Such activity was carried out with the coordination of OKL Street Library, in terms of problems identification, determining the problem focus and for the mind mapping practiced and also books sharing which was collectively implemented by the team-work. Every students, volunteers and OKL SL founder felt happy and got benetif of these activities included understanding mind mapping and created point of view about how to maintain home and class freshly. The students modified it to state daily habits to be successed in their hobbies in future. We were looking forward to having more such activities or other development activities specially for lower primary students at OKL SL to help them enhance literacy competence that could benefit the whole community

Get PDFManagement of organic and inorganic waste is carried out in an integrated and sustainable manner to overcome its negative impact on the environment. Processing organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is one of the efforts to overcome waste problems and provide added value for the community. Household organic waste processing can be done with the help of black soldier fly (BSF) larvae so the processing is fast and efficient. Black soldier flies are potential organisms that function as decomposers of organic waste. This community service activity has been carried out in Sumberjo Village, Gondang District, Nganjuk Regency. The purpose of this activity is socialization and training on the manufacture of POC from household organic waste with the help of black soldier fly. The series of activities carried out are coordination and outreach to partner communities, production of liquid organic fertilizer processing equipment, training on making liquid organic fertilizer, and evaluation of community service activities. The people of Depok Hamlet, Sumberjo Village, Gondang District, and Nganjuk Regency welcome the activity of utilizing household organic waste. Socialization and training in making POC went well and smoothly. The community is quite understanding and interested in making liquid organic fertilizer. This activity provides direct benefits for the community regarding the innovation of making POC from household organic waste with the help of black flies and strengthening partnerships between higher education institutions and the community
Pendampingan Pembuatan Nata De Fish Dari Limbah Rebusan Lemuru Sebagai Diversifikasi Produk Berbasis Zero Waste and Halthy Food di Desa Bomo Banyuwangi
Get PDFBomo Beach or commonly called Ria Bomo Beach is one of the beach destinations that has begun to be famous in Banyuwangi Regency since the last three years. One of the marine life commodities caught by fish that is still often found is lemuru fish. Lemuru that is caught is usually sold to the market or sold to local residents at a low price, but if it still does not sell well, the local community reprocesses it into several processed lemuru, one of which is commonly found is pindang lemuru. The decoction of lemuru from household industrial food (PIRT) in making lemuru pindang is usually thrown in the sewer that empties into the sea, thus impacting water pollution. Lemuru decoction actually still contains protein, fat, and omega 3, it can still be reused into processed fish products to increase the added value of a commodity, namely nata de fish. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Programe (PKM) activities are carried out with the aim of increasing the level of fishermen's income by making nata de fish products based on product diversification "zero waste and healthy food" whose main source of ingredients used is lemuru stew (waste from making lemuru pindang). The first step taken by the team was preliminary research aimed at obtaining the right formulation in making nata de fish. The formulation became the standard for making nata de fish to become the latest superior product based on "zero waste and healthy food" for the people of Bomo Banyuwangi. During the focus group discusion, training and socialization of nata de fish making, product packaging, and socialization of PIRT permit certificate registration were carried out. To support the bomo community in the process of making nata de fish, the team provided a fermentation incubation that functions to minimize pathogenic bacteria so that contamination does not occur during the fermentation process. The final result in socialization and training activities, the Bomo community succeeded in making nata de fish with raw materials for lemuru stew waste
Training and Making Guidelines for Organizing Hybrid Exhibitions
No full textExhibition is a sub-sector of the creative economy and part of the tourism industry that developed well in Indonesia before Covid-19. Exhibition activities, which were actually gathering large numbers of people, became one of the industries hardest hit and even stopped completely, even though alternative technologies that facilitated online meetings began to develop at that time. Currently, after the handling of Covid-19 has improved considerably, the concept of hybrid exhibitions has begun to emerge and provides an alternative for industry players in conducting exhibitions. Unfortunately, many industry players do not understand how the concept of hybrid exhibitions does not try to completely replace conventional exhibitions. In addition, there is a need for training and guidance that will facilitate industry players in carrying out hybrid exhibitions. Community Service with this community partnership program (PKM) scheme helps ASPERAPI (Exhibition Organizer Association) DPD West Java as a partner in making Hybrid Exhibition Organizing Guidelines and training its members. Another objective is to provide additional skills and knowledge for ASPERAPI members in facing the challenges of present and future exhibition activities. The challenges facing partners today are how to restore business while at the same time reaching more audiences by utilizing hybrid technology/applications. The implementation method is mentoring, training and making guides with the outputs of intellectual property rights and scientific articles and service articles as activity reports
Persepsi Pengunjung Terhadap Pengelolaan Objek Wisata Pantai Kahino Desa Popilo kabupaten Halmahera Utara
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi pengunjung terhadap objek wisata alam pantai Kahino Desa Popilo dan mengusulkan rencana pengembangan sarana penunjang Objek Wisata Pantai Kahino Desa Popilo. Metode pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara Quota sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah pengunjung berjenis kelamin pria jumlahnya lebih banyak dari pengunjung wanita. Pengunjung yang belum berkeluarga lebih banyak dibandingkan yang telah menikah. Berikutnya dari kelas umur, tidak ada kelas umur yang dominan, semuanya di kisaran 20-30%. Sementara itu dominasi tingkat pendidikan pengunjung adalah tingkat SMP/SMA. Wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Pantai Kahino, sebagian besar memanfaatkan waktunya untuk berwisata, selebihnya digunakan sebagai tempat ibadah. Wisatawan menyampaikan bahwa objek wisata pantai Kahino dari segi kebersihan pantai adalah sangat bagus (54%), selebihnya mengatakan bagus. Hasil wawancara juga menyatakan bahwa objek wisata ini aman untuk dikunjungi. 
Respon Masyarakat terhadap Pelestarian Hutan Mangrove di Desa Amarwawatu, Seram Bagian Timur
No full textHutan mangrove merupakan suatu ekosistem yang kompleks dan khas, serta memiliki daya dukung yang cukup besar terhadap lingkungan disekitarnya. Hutan mangrove itu terdapat disalah satu Desa yang ada di Kecamatan Gorom timur Kabupten Seram Bagian Timur (SBT) yaitu Desa Amarwawatu, yang ada dua jenis mangrove yaitu (Mangrove Rhizopora Apikulata dan Sonneratia Alba) yang namun kenyataannya menunjukan bahkan kurang adanya kesadaran masyarakat untuk memperhatikan dan menjaga keutuhan hutan tersebut, agar dapat bermanfaat bagi kelangsungan hidup masyarakat setempat. Bertolak dari latar belakang diatas maka penulis tertarik mengadakan penelitian dengan judul.“Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Kelestarian Hutan Mangrove di Desa Amarwawatu”. Untuk Mengetahui Persepsi Masyarakat Terhadap Kelestarian Hutan Mangrove di Desa Amarwawatu olehnya itu, Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian deskriptif kualitatif pada masyarakat Desa Amarwawatu untuk dapat memperoleh informasi secara detail tentang persepsi masyarakat terhadap kelestarian hutan mangrove. Dengan prensentase jumlah responden 70 Kepala Keluarga (KK) dan populsi diambil sampelnya 32 responden. Dari hasil penilitian masa lampau maka hutan mangrove pada masa lampau terdapat < 3 hektar. Data menunjukan bahwa A. luas sekali 5 orang (15,6%) dan B. Cukup luas 17 orang atau (53,1%) sedangkan menyatakan C. Tidak begitu luas 10 orang atau (31,2%) kondisi luas hutan mangrove yang dimaksud. Hasil dari responden yang menjawab Desa Amarwawatu disepanjang pesisir pantai menganggap keberadaan hutan mangrove. Pada masakini masyarakat Desa Amarwawatu berpresepsi bahwa keberadaan hutan mangrove sangat penting dari 32 Responden yang menjawab A. Ada 29 orang (90,6%) sedangkan B. Tidak ada 1 orang atau (3,25%) yang menjawab C. Tidak Tau 2 orang atau (6.25). Dalam hal ini masyarakat Desa Amarawawtu yang berada di pesisir pantai manganggap keberadaan hutan mangrove di wilayah mereka sangat penting, masyarakat sangat menyadari pentingnya hutan mangrove di tempat mereka, namum disamping itu ada sebagian orang juga belum paham dan menyadari pentingnya keberadaan hutan hutan mangrov

There are 11 villages in Muncar sub-district with the average livelihood of the community is as a fisherman. One of the factors of coastal areas is women, coastal women play an important role in households that rely on marine resources. In domestic economic activity, coastal women contribute and even dominate. Over time from year to year, there is a continuous exploitation of fish or marine resources in Muncar that causes difficulty in obtaining fish. Moreover, the conditions of extreme season change (catching and paceklik) make the acquisition of fishing businesses and household income of traditional fishermen decrease so that it requires income outside the capture business. It becomes the basis that the existence of women or fishermen's wives as a support for household income income is needed, but to support the potential of fishermen women in economic improvement, it is necessary to formulate a strategy of empowering women through the concept of eco-coefficient. Penguatan Lembaga Adat Tuha Peut Dalam Penyelesaian Sengketa Di Kecamatan Sawang
Get PDFSocialization and legal counseling on the Tuha Peut Traditional Institution in dispute resolution in Sawang District are part of community service activities. The background of this activity is that in the Qanun of Customary Institutions, Tuha Peut is one of the customary institutions that has the authority to settle disputes between members of a community of a village. In Sawang Subdistrict, Aceh Utara District, there are still many customary disputes that have not been resolved by customary settlement in the village and many have been reported by the community to the police. This is also due to the lack of knowledge of the Tuha Peut Customary Institution in resolving disputes at the village level. This socialization and legal counseling was carried out by presenting the material and continued with a discussion of questions and answers and swearing back. The results of socialization and legal counseling in Sawang District found that the results of the feedback provided by participants experienced an increase in understanding of the role of the Tuha Peut Traditional Institution in dispute resolution. The implementation of this activity received a good response from the Tuha Peut Customary Institution, because they increased their knowledge and they rarely got activities like this

So far, the process of increasing the functional position of educators is based on the results of the processing carried out based on the work unit in the HRD. For the sake of appropriateness of the process of increasing the academic position of lecturers and the suitability of the points required, a support system for the decision to increase in academic functional positions is made for educators. The data used are in the form of previous rank files along with educational and teaching files, scientific papers, community service and support. The econometric analysis method is used to calculate statistically. The test results carry out structural and functional checks to determine whether the system being made is in accordance with the design or not.

Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Dengan Kepuasan Kerja Sebagai Variabel Moderasi
Get PDFThis study aims to describe work motivation, job satisfaction and employee performance and to analyze job satisfaction in moderating the effect of work motivation on employee performance. This research method with qualitative and quantative approaches. The population of this study were all employees of Hotel Pardise Batu, so that the sampling used total sampling technique. Descriptive data and moderated regression were used as data analysis. The results show that work motivation has an effect on employee performance, job motivation, job satisfaction and the interaction between work motivation and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and job satisfaction moderates the effect of work motivation and employee performanc
