A STUDY ON THE FUNCTIONS OF FIELD LABELS IN DICTIONARIES: THE EXAMPLE OF “KAZAK TILINIÑ TÜSINDIRME SÖZDIGI”
This article focuses on the subject-based tagging of words in a general dictionary that does not require expertise and examines existing monolingual dictionaries of the Kazakh language and their tagging of language and literature, medicine and related field terms. The scanning model was used in the study, and the data were examined using the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The aim of the study is to discuss the basic subject conceptualization, tagging in dictionaries and the way terminology is included in dictionaries, and to provide information about what terminology entries in general dictionaries are from a lexicological perspective and how they are processed. The process of separating basic lexicographic units from terminology and its consequences for dictionaries are also briefly examined. In order to understand the “referentiality” of the entry head with a term-unit tag in a monolingual dictionary, an example study was conducted on the general dictionary of the Kazakh language, and the efficiency, benefit and effectiveness of domain name tags were also discussed.

TECHNO-ECONOMIC ANALYSIS AND COST-EFFECTIVENESS OF PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS FOR RESTAURANTS IN MACEDONIA
The technology of photovoltaics is constantly improving with increased efficiency and effectiveness, enabling lower investment and operational costs, as well as comprehensive solutions to address challenges such as mitigating price shocks and reducing dependence on fossil fuels. This, in turn, contributes to environmental protection by avoiding carbon dioxide emissions when compared to a power plant of the same installed capacity that uses fossil fuels as its energy source.
This paper presents a techno-economic analysis for the installation of a photovoltaic (PV) system on an average restaurant in Macedonia. The objective is to determine the feasibility of a photovoltaic system for an average restaurant that procures electricity from the open market, with the goal of reducing the energy dependence of restaurants and encouraging investments in PV systems by these commercial entities. Such investments can significantly contribute to increasing domestic electricity production from renewable energy sources. The analysis is based on the electricity consumption of an average restaurant and the electricity production from a PV system with a total installed capacity of 40 kWp, simulated using PV*SOL premium software. By comparing the hourly electricity production from the photovoltaic system, obtained through PV*SOL premium, with the hourly electricity consumption of the restaurant, derived from the standard load curve for restaurants, a techno-economic analysis was conducted in accordance with the forecasted electricity prices on the open market, taken from the HUDX electricity exchange. The analysis also considers the cost of the photovoltaic system, as well as its operational expenses
GEOHAZARD PHENOMENON INDUCED BY SALT EXPLOITATION AND APPLIED NEW METHODS FOR MONITORING GROUND SURFACE MOVEMENTS
The subsidence occurring in the city of Tuzla in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) is an important issue which has caused several damages in the past decades. This phenomenon is related to the massive extraction of salt and the presence of salt caverns below the city. The salt mine was closed between 2006 and 2007 by means of filling the salt mine rooms with water, but the subsidence still continues over some parts of the city. This paper presents geohazard phenomenon caused by the exploitation of the salt mine in Tuzla, as well as the interpretation of themonitoring results of subsidence measured by new satellite technology together with the previous results, i.e., 2004 – 2007 by GPS, 2013 – 2024 by GPS, 2014 – 2019 by DInSAR technology, and 2019 – 2024 by DInSAR from authors. The time transition for the subsidence obtained by DInSAR shows a good agreement with the monitoring results by GPS. It is found that the subsidence in Tuzla is still on-going at a rate of 1 – 2 cm/year in the measured points of salt deposit, while point number 16 and its surroundings currently have greater subsidence compared to the remaining part of the Tuzla salt deposit. This paper concludes that DInSAR technology has proven to be an excellent method for monitoring the subsidence of the terrain at the city of Tuzla and would represent an accurate and reliable approach for monitoring similary affected areas
EXPLORATORY ANALYSIS OF COURT EFFICIENCY: THE CASE OF FIRST INSTANCE COURTS IN NORTH MACEDONIA
This paper explores the performance and efficiency of first instance courts in North Macedonia by assessing the key performance indicators: clearance rate and disposition time.
Our
work contributes to a better understanding of court efficiency in
North Macedonia by analyzing geographical disparities between
first-instance courts. The study encompasses data for 27 first-
instance courts organized into four groups based on which
appellate area they belong to. The analysis covers the period from
2015 to 2023. The primary goal of our study is to ascertain
whether a disparity exists in the efficiency of courts. Our empirical
strategy includes the utilization of the Kruskal-Wallis non-
parametric test; thus, we do not aim to explore which courts
exhibit superior or inferior performance. The results suggest that
both clearance rates and disposition time did not differ
substantially from 2015 to 2022 in civil cases. However, in 2023,
there were statistically significant differences among the observed
indicators. Concerning criminal cases, until 2021, the clearing
rates and disposition times did not significantly differ among
various court groups; however, findings from 2022 and 2023
revealed statistically significant disparities. We propose
conducting further research at a first-instance court level to
evaluate individual courts’ efficacy and determine the underlying
reasons for divergence of the key performance indicators between
the different appellate areas
