Variation in fruit morphology among individual plants
Morphological measurements of Tribulus cistoides fruits from two natural populations (AB and EG) on Santa Cruz island. We sampled 15 individual plants on each site, from each of which we collected four complete (i.e., uneaten) and mature fruits (schizocarps), with each schizocarp having 4 to 5 mericarps. From each mericarp we registered length (mm), width (mm), upper spine size, presence of lower spines, and mericarp mass (mm)
Temporal overlap: top-predator decline
Camera data used to analyse changes in temporal activity on the Tasmanian mainland in response to Tasmanian devil population declines. This data file was used in the analysis of circular overlap, and was used to produce the left column of Figure 2 from our paper in Ecography. See README for details about variables
Supplementary Figure 1
Bar plot of the means and standard deviations of the H/L ratios in (A) all of the adult specimens (Welch’s t-test: t = 2.8395, df = 167.56, p-value = 5.1 x 10−3), (B) in morphotype B (Welch’s t-test: t = 1.5646, df = 114.7, p-value = 0.12), (C) in morphotype S (Welch’s t-test: t = 2.9211, df = 52.548, p-value = 5.1 x 10−3), and (D) in juveniles (Welch’s t-test: t = 2.0779, df = 70.788, p-value = 0.041). n indicates the number of valves. The numbers in the bars indicate the mean ± standard deviation
Evolving Communities Two Species Raw Data (Part 1 - Symmetric Resources and Sym and Asym Competition)
WARNING: ~ 3.6 GB when expanded. Contains all raw simulation data for the two-species simulations with symmetric resource distribution and competition from the manuscript "Asymmetric Competition Impacts Evolutionary Rescue in a Changing Environment"
Vegetation transects
100m by 1m belt transects in forest, counted and identified all plants, counted and identified all ungulate sign
