PERTUMBUHAN PENJUALAN DAN LABA USAHA KERUPUK DI KECAMATAN X KOTO SINGKARAK KABUPATEN SOLOK SUMBAR
The ability of business management in establishing policies related to operational activities plays an important role in increasing the operating profit. Increased profit obtained is a picture of the increased performance of the business concerned. The main goal of the company is to maximize profit. Growth of operating profit is important for internal and external companies. The ability of a company to generate profits, during a certain period, can be seen in the income statement of the business concerned. The purpose of this activity is to know the development of cracker business in Kecamatan X Koto Singkarak Solok District and the sales and operating profit. Methods of this service activities are performed with several stages: initial discussion, implementation of activities, providing motivation and business assistance. Based on community service activities conducted, it can be concluded that: Community service activities in District X Koto Singkarak received a good response from Partners Working Business Crackers (Yus Family and Kapuah Saiyo). Cracker business is a household business, which can growing and improving. Yus Family business development has increased, this is evidenced by the innovation of products that are in demand by consumers. Growth in sales and operating profits are up in line with expectations, although they have not improved, as businesses have not been well-organized
Estimasi mode shift angkutan umum ke Trans Padang di Kota Padang
Abstrak- Kondisi pelayanan angkutan umum di Kota Padang sudah sangat memprihatinkan yang di dominasi oleh angkutan berkapasitas kecil yang menambah kepadatan dan kesemrawutan lalu lintas. Kondisi ini semakin diperparah oleh perilaku pengemudi yang ugal-ugalan karena berebut penumpang sehingga aspek kenyamanan dan keselamatan penumpang menjadi terabaikan. Di samping itu, Indonesia menggunakan bahan bakar minyak sebagai sumber utama energinya, yang sebagiannya adalah di impor. Fakta ini tentunya akan semakin memperburuk dampak negatif dari transportasi darat, termasuk di Kota Padang. Saat ini terdapat angkutan umum Bus Rapid (BRT) Transit Trans Padang yang sudah beroperasi sejak tahun 2014. Dalam rangka meminimalisir dampak negatif transportasi darat, maka direncanakan untuk mengembangkan koridor layanan Trans Padang dari semula 1 menjadi 6 Koridor. Untuk itu perlu di estimasi potensi demand nya, khususnya yang akan berpindah (mode shift) dari angkutan mobil penumpang umum (MPU) ke BRT Trans Padang yang merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Luaran dari penelitian ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai pertimbangan sebagai informasi dalam penentuan prioritas koridor yang yang dikembangkan oleh stakeholder terkait.
 
Analisa Faktor-Faktor Mempengaruhi Penyimpangan Biaya Material Terhadap Kinerja Biaya Akhir Proyek Gedung di Kota Padang
In the implementation of construction projects there are often irregularities in costs caused by, among others, materials, equipment, labor, subcontractors, overhead, and general conditions. Material is a major cost component in construction projects, so that poor material management can lead to project cost deviations. The occurrence of cost deviations can be seen from the difference between implementation costs and planning costs. To minimize these cost deviations, project control is carried out aimed at detecting as early as possible the factors that affect the cost deviations, especially in material costs.
This study uses a questionnaire instrument involving 20 respondents consisting of contractors contracting M1 and M2 qualification buildings in Kota Padang, which are filled by site managers and logistics implementers. The analysis used is descriptive descriptive analysis with the help of the Statistical Product Solution Service (SPSS) program for Windows version 23.0.In this study, there are 6 sequences of dominant factors that influence material cost deviations on the final cost performance of the building project in Padang city. Among the sequences of these dominant factors, the first is external factors, namely changes in economic conditions and the occurrence of unexpected things in the force majeure, the second is material procurement factors, namely scarcity and difficulty in procuring materials on site, changes in company policy in purchase, and material cost deviations, the third is the logistical factor, namely the high rate of material damage during storage in the warehouse, the fourth is the supervision and control factors, namely the low evaluation and decision-making system, the fifth is the quality control factor which is wasteful use of material on site and the sixth factor planning and scheduling, namely errors in predicting field conditions, and future conditions and errors in planning the scope of work
Pengaruh Kemiringan Saluran Terhadap Fenomena Flooding Dengan Gangguan Pada Aliran Udara–Air Dan Udara–Minyak Tanah
Some equipments which are used in petroleum industries, chemical industries, steam power-plants and nuclear reactors must avoid the flooding phenomena in order to work at optimal condition. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effects of inclination and obstacle on flooding onset at counter-current air-water and air-kerosene flows with porous inlet and sharp outlet. The model of obstacle was conformed to industrial application i.e .pipe joining or pipe scaling. Experimen
ts were conducted in a plexyglass pipe of 25.4 mm diameter and 2500 mm length of test section at annular flow pattern. The variation of inclination of ducts are 90o, 80o and 60o. The geometry of the obstacle is a ring with rectangular cross sectional which is installed with a distance 600 mm or 1200 mm from the inlet. The result of the research indicated that the effects of inclination and obstacle of ducts are significant toward flooding onset. Flooding phenomena was indicated with drastic increase of pressure gradient above the liquid inlet. Flooding phenomena happened earlier of larger inclination of the ducts and nearer obstacle of the inlet. This phenomena also early happened at kerosene which have higher viscosity and lower surface tension than wate
Perencanaan Perawatan Mesin Pengupas Sabut Kelapa
Coconut is a versatile plant and almost all parts of coconut can be utilized by humans. In the processing of coconut fruit, namely stripping, decomposition and sieving, but in the stripping process there are still many uses manually. Therefore, coconut husk peeler is made. This machine can facilitate the stripping of coconut fiber to separate it from the coconut shell. The working principle of this machine is to use knives that are located in the shaft and connected to the motor as a driver by using electric power. The way to do it is that the coconut that has been taken from the tree that is ready to be peeled is placed on the shaft, pressed using a lever to the shaft that has a knife, then the shaft will rotate and the knife will pull the coconut fiber. For the smooth use of coconut coir peeler, proper and efficient maintenance planning is needed so that the engine can run continuously, where the engine components that are treated are shaft, motor, gear, pully and belt. In planned care includes daily, weekly and monthly care. So care must be done well and optimally in order to get good treatment result
Pengoperasian dan Perawatan PLTMH pada Pembangkit Listrik Mikro Hidro (PLTMH) di Sungai Batang Geringging Kota Padang
Water turbine is a tool to convert the potential energy of water into mechanical energy, this mechanical energy is then converted into electrical energy by a generator. Crossflow turbines are radial, small pressurized turbines with tangential injection from fan rotation with a horizontal shaft. The flow of water flows through the pipe entrance, and is arranged by a propeller and into the turbine fan rotation. After the water passes through the turbine fan rotation, the water is at the opposite fan rotation, thus providing additional efficiency. Finally, water flows from the casing either freely or through a tube under the turbine so that it rotates and turns the generator so it can produce electricity. Maintenance of PLTMH is carried out namely preventive maintenance such as; cleaning, lubrication and periodic checks. Maintenance corrections are carried out with the aim of being able to maintain the PLTMH component. Predictive maintenance of a treatment carried out in accordance with the conditions of the PLTMH and predicting damage that will occur in PLTM
Pengujian Alat Modifikasi Alternator Mobil Menjadi Listrik Rumah
This paper discusses the use of alternator cars into home electricity. This paper aims to overcome the energy crisis by reducing dependence on fossil energy sources by utilizing alternative energy sources or by developing technology in the form of alternator modifications, and also from this paper we can find out the optimum conditions of rotation and generating electricity. The workings of this alternator modification tool so as to produce electrical power that is using a motor as a drive connected to the alternator produced mechanical energy converted into electrical energy and from this alternator a voltage of 12 volts comes out and goes into travo to increase the voltage to 220 Volts. From the results of the testing of this final project, the effect of rotation on the production of electrical energy coming out on this alternator modification tool is if the rotation produced is high then the power output is also good and if the rotation is slowed the power coming out will also be small. The optimum condition of this test is at 1600rpm. Pengujian Kincir Air Hidrokinetik Undershoot Di Irigasi Limau Manis Padang
The power produced by a hydrokinetic turbine depends on the interaction between the rotor and water. Therefore, the optimal rotor geometry must be designed and built to capture maximum water energy and convert it into usable energy. Hydropower is one of the potential renewable energy that can contribute to the need for electricity. Hydropower generator is pollution free so this generator can answer environmental problems and the availability of renewable energy sources. The aim to be achieved in this study is to produce a turbine hydropower with good performance if it operates on an irrigation channel and is applied as a power plant. This research was developed to get the right specifications for the use of hydrokinetic turbines in the irrigation canal area. There are several methods carried out in the design of hydrokenetic turbines, namely by designing blades based on the shape of water flow, repairing the transmission system, and selecting the right generator. In this study, we tested the sweet lemon irrigate applied and tested in the area of Padang Sumbar Sweet Limes Pauh, the results obtained were that the turbine can produce power of about 12.6 watts
Analisa Investasi Pemilihan Hydraulic Exavator Dengan Pertimbangan Aspek Teknis Dan Ekonomis
The ownership of heavy equipment is one of the most interesting business at this time, because the indonesian government is actively developing infrastructure, mining, plantation and agriculture sectore. So, it will be very profitable to do this heavy equipment business if it followed an accurate investment analysis. In this research, researchers took a case study on analyzing the selection of hydraulic excavator from 5 different brands, its Komatsu, Hitachi, Caterpillar, Kobelco and Hyundai with 3 different classes (economical, medium and high mode).This research was conducted by collecting primary data (interviews and field surveys) and secondary data (previeos research journal and literature studies) as supporting data. Data processing with reference to Permen PU no.11/PRT/M/2013. Decision making analysis is based on calculation of Nett Present Value (NPV) method, Internal Rate of Return (IRR) method and Break Event Point (BEP) method.
After conducting the research, researcher concludes as follows : in the economical class, researcher recommends CAT 313D2 to be invested for the purpose of being rented or used alone. In the medium class, researcher recommends Kobelco SK 200-10 to be invested for the purpose of being rented. In the high mode class, researcher recommends Kobelco SK 330 to be invested for the pupose of being rented. The recommendation that the researcher describes are not absolute decisions to be followed and only as a consideration for investors. 
The Nature of Managerial Work: A Book Review of Mintzberg
The purpose of this paper is to review an old holy book of management: the nature of managerial work’s Mintzberg which originally published since 1973. The book is the answer of the young Mintzberg on what was his father do at the office. Mintzberg then details the kind of managers’ activities, managerial work characteristics, managerial basic role, managerial jobs variations, and management science. Briefly, the aim of the book is to develop a manager job description through management science approach. This book review paper emphasizes the last chapter as integrated basic research findings in three previous chapters. In literature review, there is explanation about the outline of the analysis that how theory is developed. The implication for stakeholders around manager and future work as discussed.
