    Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung merupakan salah satu dari 11 kecamatan yang ada di Kota Padang dan juga merupakan batas Kota Padang dengan daerah tk.2 lainnya yaitu Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Tidak jauh berbeda dengan di tempat-tempat lainnya, kelompok-kelompok kecil warga seperti kelompok PKK RT juga ada di sini dan cukup solid dalam melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan ataupun mengatasi berbagai permasalahan keluarga yang timbul. Salah satu kelompok PKK tersebut adalah kelompok PKK RT 03 RW 03 Kel.Bungus Timur. Selama ini kelompok PKK RT 03 RW 03 Kel.Bungus Timur yang beranggotakan ibu-ibu sebanyak 20 orang cukup berkontribusi dengan baik dalam menunjang berbagai kegiatan seperti kegiatan di bidang pertanian, yang merupakan mata pencaharian utama bagi masyarakat di wilayah ini. Bidang pertanian merupakan salah satu upaya ketahanan pangan dalam menghadapi pandemik Covid-19 karena bagaimana pun pangan adalah kebutuhan pokok manusia. Namun demikian untuk perkembangan tanaman pertanian yang lebih baik, apakah itu persawahan ataupun perladangan tentunya membutuhkan pupuk. Dengan adanya pembatasan pergerakan orang selama pandemik Covid-19 ini maka pemenuhan kebutuhan pertanian terhadap pupuk yang selama ini sebahagian besar dibeli juga mengalami gangguan. Tim pengabdian masyarakat memberikan penyuluhan, sosialisasi tentang  cara pembuatan pupuk cair berbahan dasar air bekas cucian beras, yang merupakan satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka Stay At Home. Pelaksanaan pembuatan pupuk ini sangat mudah, dengan bahan yang mudah didapat dan biaya yang sangat murah. Nantinya diharapkan ibu-ibu kelompok PKK dapat memproduksi secara mandir/berkelompoki kebutuhan pupuknya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dapat memberikan wawasan, meningkatkan keterampilan/skill dan keinginan berinovasi bagi ibu-ibu kelompok PKK RT 03 RW 03 Kel.Bungus Timur, yaitu dengan membuat pupuk cair dengan bahan limbah

    Melihat besarnya peran koperasi dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat, maka banyak bermunculan koperasi, baik koperasi sebuah komunitas maupun koperasi karyawan suatu lembaga/badan usaha. Dalam perannya, koperasi kerap memberi bantuan, seperti kredit atau pinjaman dana kepada anggota dalam hal finansial. Pembentukan koperasi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial masyarakat di Indonesia. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pada Koperasi Karyawan PT. ASKES Sumatera Barat yang kini telah berganti menjadi BPJS Kesehatan. Besarnya potensi pertumbuhan usaha koperasi karyawan PT. ASKES Sumbar tentu saja harus dibarengi dengan peningkatan kemampuan pengelolanya dalam menyampaikan laporan aktifitas dan keuangan koperasi. Karena terbatasnya kompetensi SDM pengurus dan pegawai  mitra serta kurangnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya pencatatan dan laporan keuangan, untuk membantu mitra menyelesaikan permasalahannya akan diberikan pelatihan pencatatan dan penyusunan laporan keuangan dalam bentuk program pendampingan implementasi sistem pencatatan akuntansi dan pengendalian internal. Luaran yang akan dihasilkan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah terlatihnya pengurus dan staf dalam melakukan pencatatan akuntansi dan penyusunan laporan keuangan. Pendekatan yang ditawarkan pada mitra adalah; melakukan penataan pembukuan akuntansi pada unit usaha simpan pinjam di mitra, workshop dan pelatihan sistem pencatatan akuntansi dan pengendalian internal bagi usaha koperasi serba usaha, serta melakukan pendampingan implementasi sistem pencatatan akuntansi dan pengendalian internal pada Koperasi Karyawan PT. ASKES Sumbar. Selain itu juga akan dihasilkan modul sistem pencatatan akuntansi dan pengendalian internal pada koperasi serba usaha yang dapat dipedomani oleh Koperasi Karyawan PT. ASKES Sumbar

    Indonesia's petroleum production continues to decline while energy demand continues to grow. As a result, there was an increase in imports of crude oil and imports of fuel oil products. The government issued a number of policies to reduce fuel use. One of the efforts is to manage renewable energy power plants such as wind energy. The wind turbine is a windmill that is used to generate electricity. The basic principle of working of a wind turbine is to convert wind energy into mechanical energy at the mill, then the rotation of the mill is used to rotate the generator which will produce electricity. One of the things that need to be considered in designing wind turbine blades is the size (radius of the rotor), airfoil section, chord length, and blade pitch angle. The blade chord length is the length of the straight line connecting the front and rear edges of the turbine blade. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of blade chord length on the performance of a vertical axis wind turbine, including shaft rotation, wind power, generator power, rotor power, torque, Tip Speed ​​Ratio (TSR) and power coefficient. This research was conducted using a vertical axis wind turbine, with 4 L-type blades made of 60 mm thick aluminum plate, with variations in chord lengths of 140 mm, 170 mm, and 200 mm.     This study aims to determine the effect of Covid 19 and IHSG on the Rupiah / USD exchange rate during the COVID-19 pandemic. The data used in this study are daily data on confirmed cases of Covid 19, daily data on the IHSG and Rupiah / USD exchange rate from March 2 to April 30 2020. The results of this study are partially Covid 19 has a negative effect (coefficient value -0.128) but not significant alpha 5% (0.871> 0.05), JCI has a negative effect (coefficient value -0.542) and significant alpha 5% (0.017 <0) . , 05).     Menjalankan solat secara khusuk adalah hal yang penting dan harapan semua muslim. Namun hal tersebut terkadang tidak mudah untuk menjalankannya. Dengan menimbang kondisi pandemi Covid-19, maka Politeknik Negeri Padang (PNP) melalui Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat mengadakan pelatihan solat khusuk yang hanya ditujukan kepada para Ketua Rukun Tetangga (Ketua RT) dan RW Kelurahan Limau Manis, Pauh sebagai mitra. Adapun masalah yang dihadapi mitra adalah mereka ingin meningkatkan kualitas salat mereka sehingga bisa menjalankan salat khusyuk. Mereka mengeluhkan pentingnya salat khusyuk dalam kehidupan, namun belum pernah ada pelatihan salat khusyuk di Kelurahan Limau Manis. Oleh itu, solusi yang ditawarkan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) adalah mengadakan pelatihan salat khusyuk bagi mitra. Pelatihan diberikan melalui metode ceramah interaktif, diskusi (sharing) pengalaman salat yang dijalankan sehari-hari dan latihan. Materi ceramah yang akan diberikan meliputi hakikat dan urgensi salat khusyuk dan memaknai gerakan salat. However, most drying processes are done naturally. This method has many constraints. By improvement of solar collector technology, the drying processes could be done more better. Unfortunately, most solar collectors still have many limitation due to generating high output temperature. Therefore, in this present study, the solar collector is tried to optimizing by enlarging area of frontal surface of solar radiation and increasing rate of air flow out in term to maximize the drying processes.     The rains will make a serious problem for the transportation sector in Indonesia, especially in areas that do not have permanent access roads (asphalt or concrete roads). Heavy vehicles such as oil palm trucks will go into the skid when crossing muddy dirt roads, and it makes an impact on the logistics delivery process. It is necessary for designing a support system, especially on the part of the wheel, to reduce the risk of skidding or rolling. Anti-slip shoe wheels of the colt diesel double (CDD) type truck is used on the rear-wheel-drive as a tool for handling slippage. Calculations and corrections are performed for maximum traction of the ground rolling resistance at ≥ 396 kg. Furthermore, the value of soil cohesion and soil shear angle was determined from the previous studies. In this study, a calculation simulation was carried out to obtain the design of the main components of an antislip wheel of a truck, which is in the form of a traction rod fin using steel UNP SNI 07-0052-2006 with a fin depth of 4.5 cm and a length of 20 cm. These dimensions are effective enough to increase the truck wheel traction of 8 tons when used to cross muddy roads with a maximum water content of 59.6% and a minimum cohesion value of land (C) of 0.108 kg/cm

    Study of Intersection Coverage Area for Pedestrian Overpasses as Vertical Evacuation from Tsunami in Padang, West Sumatra

    Padang City, as one of the highest vulnerable from earthquake and tsunami, has been transforming to become disaster smart city. However, the inadequacy of horizontal evacuation routes is caused by numerous tremors in 2007, 2009, 2010, and 2016 are indicating it is lack of occupancy for evacuee. Then, these condition is decreasing by traditional behavior evacuee are still using the vehicle and unwell planned evacuation as personally or in the community. The small number of vertical evacuation building and lack of awareness of community, and unmanaged the evacuation facilities make emergency response from earthquake and tsunami is uncontrolled in 0 – 20 minute for 30 minutes remaining time evacuate to inland in personally or community. Padang city has people density in the more than 1,317 people/km2 in the coastal area numerous potential for earthquake and tsunami risk. Pedestrian overpasses as primary facilities in many main roads in Padang City should be utilized for people to cross the road but it does not work properly but in fact, type of material, steel construction, was not durable with the climate in Padang that have coastal climate and a high number of behavior for crossing road in uncertain places. Regarding of the vulnerability in earthquake and tsunami risk, unmanaged construction and bad culture in crossing the road, pedestrian overpasses, especially in the intersection, will be redesigned to be a vertical evacuation. It will have a multifunction structure that is not simply for passing the pedestrian but also comprises remarkable facilities as a meeting point, commercial place and public facilities. Pedestrian overpasses for vertical evacuation from the tsunami will solve lack of area for construct vertical evacuation in the community. It can duplicate easily for any coastal cities that require vertical evacuation structures. Apparently, area availability will determine how vulnerable the site for vertical evacuation will suit for evacuee who living surrounding. Road intersection will be a good site for redesigning vertical evacuation Intersection of the road and have large space will be a good candidate for redesigning pedestrian overpasses as vertical evacuation structure. Road Intersection as vulnerable routes for horizontal evacuation is already happened in several occurrence of earthquake in Padang City. Based on google maps, every road will contribute a number of evacuee and mostly by using vehicle and fewer people who will evacuate by walking. The Study of coverage area intersection pedestrian overpasses as vertical evacuation from tsunami in Padang, West Sumatra will describe about how large the estimated capacity of pedestrian overpasses can be suit for vertical evacuation and how wide the area can be facilitated by this evacuation site. Remaining time of tsunami, walking space, readiness evacuation time, and time to reach upland. Those will be determined into how far the evacuee can reach the site. Based on the population density, it can observed the length of the radius can be serviced the evacuee to evacuation structure. People density will influence how large the coverage area for each site. According to this study, horizontal evacuation from tsunami in Padang city is still vulnerable for the people who living in coastal area. Bottleneck evacuation can be solved by build a vertical evacuation near by the bottleneck zone.     Pemakaian bahan bakar minyak (BBM) cenderung meningkat selaras dengan pertambahan jumlah kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia. Pada level nasional, BBM adalah sumber energi utama dimana mayoritasnya dikonsumsi oleh moda transportasi darat seperti mobil pribadi/kendaraan penumpang dan angkutan barang. Sedangkan angkutan umum hanya mengkonsumsi 9% saja. Terdapat peluang untuk mengurangi konsumsi pemakaian BBM oleh sektor transportasi khususnya transportasi darat, melalui peningkatan market share penggunaan angkutan umum dengan mengajak pengguna jalan untuk beralih dari pemakaian mobil pribadi ke angkutan umum/BRT seperti yang diharapkan oleh pemerintah. Untuk itu terlebih dahulu perlu di analisis karakter pengguna jalan eksisting agar dapat di rancang skema angkutan umum yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dan kepuasan pengguna jalan yang merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini.
