STUDY OF SURFACE FINISH OF STEREOLITHOGRAPHY (SLA™) PRODUCTS
Recently, development of Rapid Prototyping technique refers to Rapid Tooling (RT) application. Unfortunately, considering the limitation of technology available and suitable material, the research activities are respectively stagnating on improvement the method using building tool with recent technology and material. However, the problem being faced by researchers are not only limitation pre-mentioned above but also due to difficulties to gain tool with high part qualities. Therefore, in this present research, the part qualities especially surface finish would become primary consideration. Moreover, the obstacles in gaining the part with high surface finish on RP technology is the staircase effect, which is influenced by orientation angle. So, to reach the aim of research in observing the orientation angle for which part would have good surface finish, the orientation angle will be varied. The result shows that surface roughness of SLA built on 0 and 11,25 considerably have good impact on surface finish of the part building directly from Rapid Prototyping machine
UJI PERFORMANCE MEJA GETAR SATU DERAJAT KEBEBASAN DENGAN METODE STFT
In this research, it has been constructed a prototype of vertical shaking table, then its performance is tested and analyzed using the vibration signal processing. From this vibration signal can be acquainted the response of shaking table. In theoretical, a degree of freedom of vertical shaking table will have a perfectly stationary signal at all times of measuring, in the other side in experimental, the response of this shaking table has some frequencies. When this signal is processed by using Fast Fourier Transform or FFT, it will result the frequency spectrum which appear like a stationary signal at all times of measuring, so the time of vibration in time domain that will be undetected. To overcome the lack of FFT method, the vibration signal can be analyzed by using the Short Time Fourier Transform or STFT method. The results of this method can be viewed in spectrogram. Analisis Prototype Pengering Gambir Dengan Memanfaatkan Energi Surya
Indonesia is one of the countries which has high intensity solar radiation. This is very useful in term to exploite solar radiation for drying gambir processes. In Indonesia many people in west Sumatra worked gambir. More than 80 % produce gambir in Indonesia came from west Sumatra. Konsep Smart Building Pada Kenyamanan Termal di Laboratorium Teknik
Engineering Laboratory is a place where students can learn the theory and then practicing of machines operate. Teaching room should be made as comfortabel as possible so can improve students. Room condition whereas there are practicum machines makes the room hotter.. Inadequate room capacity makes students uncomfortabel with the conditions of the practicum. The focus in this study is to examine the thermal comfort obtained by students, measurements of temperature and humidity. The method used to calculate the temperature index by calculating the Predicted Mean Vote Index (PMV), Predicted Dissatisfied (PPD), and Heat Stress Index (HSI). Result for This calculation is then used as a reference in the improvement analysis. The results obtained from the PMV calculation are 2.11 PPD 81.67%. Analisis Banjir Sub DAS Cilemer HM 0+00 – HM 53+00
Rivers as natural water sources provide benefits for human life, flora, and fauna. The river is also a natural drainage channel to prevent flooding if it is managed properly. Most of the rainwater that falls to the land surface, flows to lower places due to gravity and eventually overflows into lakes or the sea. Along with changing conditions in the river basin, changes in land use and population growth have made the river not function optimally as it should have, causing flood disasters. A flood is an event of river water overflowing beyond the riverbed or standing water that occurs in low and non-drainable areas (SNI 2415: 2016). The purpose of this study was to determine the areas affected by the flood of the Cilemer River in Pandeglang Regency at HM 00 + 00 to HM 53 + 00, which can then produce policy recommendations in flood prevention so that the objectives are maximally achieved. Research supporting data was obtained from the Banten Province Water Resources Management Center. The analysis was carried out with several tests and the MAF method (Mean Annual Flood), process data using HEC-RAS 5.0.3, and ArcGIS 10.2.2 software. The results showed that the Cilemer River area HM 35 + 00 to HM 53 + 00 experienced flooding because the existing reservoir could not accommodate the planned discharge of 210.617 m3/s in Pagelaran and Patia areas, Pandeglang Regency
PKM WEB PROFIL UNTUK RUMAH TAHFIZH DI KOTA PADANG
Di era yang serba canggih dan terbuka ini penggunaan media informasi berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi bagi suatu lembaga sangat diperlukan karena terbukti dapat meningkatkan visibilitas / kehadiran lembaga, menyediakan informasi profil lembaga secara detail, mengkomunikasikan produk dan jasa lembaga, meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan meningkatkan kredibilitas lembaga. Dengan demikian kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat (PkM)ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan media informasi dan komunikasi antara rumah tahfizh dengan masyarakat. Mitra dalm PkM ini adalah Rumah Tahfizh Ahlul Quran yang sudah beroperasi cukup lama dan sudah menjalankan berbagai program dan kegiatan, namun masih belum mempunyai media informasi dan komunikasi yang efektif. Pemodelan Pemilihan Moda Transportasi Darat Antara Angkutan Kota dan Gojek di Kota Bukittinggi dengan Teknik Stated Preference
Transportasi darat merupakan elemen penting dalam pengembangan sektor perekonomian Indonesia, karena berkaitan erat dengan pendistribusian jasa, barang dan tenaga kerja. Di kota Bukittinggi, transportasi darat juga berperan dominan sebagai sarana pergerakan masyarakat di dalam kota, sehingga perlu dikelola dengan baik. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, masyarakat kota Bukittinggi sekarang sudah mengal moda transportasi online berbasis aplikasi pada perangkat Android. Akibatbya muncul kompetisi antara angkutan kota (angkot) dengan Gojek di kawasan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan pemilihan moda transportasi darat di kota Bukittinggi dengan studi kasus rute Jambu Air – Pusat Kota dan Pusat Kota – Pasar Aur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan penyebaran kuisioner dengan teknik stated preference. Pengolahan data dan analisis melibatkan program SPSS. Analisis deskriptif terhadap data karakteristik dari 400 responden menunjukkan bahwa pengguna moda transportasi darat dalam kota Bukittinggi didominasi perempuan (69%) berpendapatan rendah yakni di bawah Rp. 1 juta (62%). Pertimbangan utama dalam pemilihan moda adalah waktu tunggu, waktu perjalanan, jarak akses moda, kenyamanan, serta tarif. Pemodelan dengan metoda binomial logit selisih berhasil menjelaskan faktor yang diprediksi sebagai alasan pemilihan moda tersebut. Analisis korelasi dan analisis regresi linear berganda telah dilakukan untuk melihat hubungan alasan pemilihan moda dengan perubahan nilai utilitas moda menggunakan 6 (enam) atribut pada level signifikan 5%. Berdasarkan hasil pemodelan diperoleh nilai utilitas selisih moda Y= 3.362 - 0.244X1 - 0.0004X2 - 0.0006X3 - 0.122X4 - 0.011X5 - 0.065X6 dengan nilai R2 = 0,507 (P value < 0.05 ). Nilai probabilitas pemilihan moda menunjukkan preferensi terhadap Angkot konvensional adalah sebesar 42 % dan Gojek sebesar 58%. Hal ini menunjukkan moda transportasi darat yang semakin kompetitif
Andromeda Table
Pada umumnya, sebagian besar pelajar-pelajar di Panti Asuhan setelah tamat dari SMA/SMK tidak melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang perguruan tinggi karena terkendala biaya. Sebagian dari mereka, akan melangkah ke dunia kerja. Namun melihat lapangan kerja yang ada, untuk tamatan SMA/SMK akan sangat sulit bagi mereka untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan yang baik dan layak. Oleh sebab itu, anak-anak Panti Asuhan harus dibekali dengan pengetahuan, wawasan, skill serta kreativitas untuk dapat menuangkan berbagai ide kreatif yang dapat membuka lapangan kerja sendiri.
Salah satu upaya membuka lapangan kerja adalah dengan Andromeda Table (kayu bekas dengan resin). Andromeda Table bisa menjadi alternatif jitu untuk sumber penghasilan dan membuka lapangan kerja dalam rangka meggalakkan wirausaha mandiri untuk menghasilkan produk inovatif dalam menghadapi dunia kerja yang semakin sempit. Andromeda Table mengusung konsep eco living (hidup hemat energy dengan tujuan melestarikan alam) dapat diolah lagi menjadi perabotan rumah tangga dengan biaya yang jauh lebih ekonomis. Dengan sedikit kreativitas, Andromeda Table ini juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk ide-ide komersil lainnya. Materialnya mudah didapat, tidak sulit dalam pengerjaannya, tidak membutuhkan biaya tinggi, menghasilkan produk yang unik, elegan dan bernilai jual.
Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dapat memberikan wawasan, meningkatkan ketrampilan/skill dan keinginan berwirausaha mandiri bagi anak-anak Panti Asuhan. Yaitu dengan mengolah sisa-sisa kayu yang terbuang menjadi sebuah furniture baru yang unik, elegan, bernilai seni dan nilai jual tinggi dengan penambahan resin dan pewarna
