Studi Perbandingan Emisi dan Kinerja Motor Bensin dengan Bahan Bakar Campuran Etanol
The rapid development of transportation can have an impact on the surrounding environment such as congestion, air pollution, noise pollution, accidents, delays, and increased fuel consumption. Alternative fuels are very necessary and needed to minimize the dangers of the impact of increased motorized vehicles, especially air pollution and increased fuel consumption. Ethanol is one of the alternative fuel sources to replace or as a fuel mixture that is classified as biofuel. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of ethanol-blend use on exhaust emissions and engine performance in gasoline motorcycles. The ethanol-blend variations used as fuel start from pure pertalite (PE0), pertalite + 5% ethanol (PE5), pertalite + 10% ethanol (PE10), pertalite + 15% ethanol (PE15), and pertalite + 20% ethanol (PE20). The results of this study show that the use of ethanol-blend has an impact on engine performance and exhaust emissions of gasoline motorcycles. PE5 fuel is the best fuel variation with CO exhaust emissions of 0.13% and HC of 26.7 ppm at 4000 rpm engine speed. Meanwhile, the highest torque engine performance was achieved with PE5 fuel with a torque of 114.9 Nm, and the engine power reached 71.6 HP with PE20 fuel. Compared to the use of pure pertalite fuel of 113.6 Nm at 2500 rpm engine speed and 69.0 HP at 5000 rpm engine speed, respectively
Analisis Pengaruh Lingkungan Kerja, Disiplin, Motivasi, dan Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Produktivitas Karyawan
This research aims to analyze the influence of the working environment, work discipline, work motivation on productivity through leadership styles as intervening variables. The research sample consists of 100 teachers working at public schools in Lamongan. Sampling is by using a saturated sample of the entire population. The data analysis technique is using SEM PLS from the PLS ver 3 smart application. The results of the study were: (1) the influence of the working environment on the leadership style is significant, (2) the impact of the work discipline on the management style is non-significant, (3) the effect of the motivation of the job on the style of leadership is insignificant,(4) the impact on the productivity of the labour environment is significant; (5) the effects of the labor discipline upon the productiveness is not significant; (6) the influences of the employment motivation on the production style are not significant, (7) the influencing of the leadage style upon the production of the productive style is nonexistent; (7) the impacts of the employing environment on production through leadership are not significant; (8) the influencies of the disciplinary work on productiveness through the lead ability style are non-substantial; (9) the influencer of the training discipline over productivity through the leading style is not important; (10) the influency of work motivation upon productive mode is not substantial
Kontribusi Perempuan Berwirausaha Untuk Meningkatkan Pendapatan Keluarga di Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kab Solok
The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of women in working as entrepreneurs to family income in Bukit Sundi District, Solok Regency. The research method used is a descriptive analysis method. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data in the form of the amount of family income sourced from the income of women/wives, husbands' income and the income of other family members who work. Data were collected directly from respondents, namely 35 respondents who are entrepreneurs in the beef rendang industry and 30 respondents who are entrepreneurs in the cassava cracker industry, using interview techniques. The collected data were analyzed using the income formula and the share index formula (contribution) with the help of the Microsoft Excel program. The results of the analysis showed that the contribution of women in entrepreneurship to increase family income in Bukit Sundi District was 27.87% which came from the income of women working in the beef rendang industry with a contribution interval scale in the moderate criteria. While the contribution of women working in the cracker industry was 35.28% with a contribution interval scale in the sufficient criteria
Anatomizing Taylor Swift’s ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ Album
This qualitative study examines the parallelism in 21 songs from Taylor Swift's '1989 (Taylor's Version)' album at the morphological-lexical and phonological levels, as well as the figurative languages used. The study has two research questions: (1) What are the occurring parallelisms in the album in terms of Morphological–Lexical level and Phonological Level? (2) What are the different types of figurative languages employed? Content analysis was used to determine morpheme, word, and phrase repetition, while Cambridge Dictionary was used to identify assonance, alliteration, and consonance repetition. Inter-coding was also used. The study is grounded in Leech and Short's Foregrounding Theory and Perrine's Figurative Language Theory. Word repetition was the most frequent, followed by morpheme repetition. The findings revealed that Taylor Swift employed parallelisms in the said album such as morpheme, word, and phrase repetition. The word repetition got the highest frequency number with two hundred fifty-one (251), followed by morpheme repetition with one hundred sixty-seven (167) frequency number. The top five most prevalent figurative languages in the songs were metaphor, hyperbole, paradox, simile, and personification. The current study is presented using a formalist perspective, the study suggests using a different lens of analysis—the functionalist approach
Pelatihan Peningkatan Keterampilan Presentasi Bagi Siswa SMAN 1 Padang
This article contains community service program activities for lecturers in the Information Technology department, in order to fulfill the Tridharma of Padang State Polytechnic Higher Education for the 2024 fiscal year. The activities carried out are providing Presentation Skills Improvement Training for SMAN 1 Padang students with the aim of equipping students with good communication skills. effective, especially in the context of delivering material orally in public using the Canva application. This training is motivated by the importance of presentation skills in supporting academic and career success in the future. The methods used include lectures, interactive discussions, and direct practice involving presentation simulations. Participants were also given tips and techniques for mastering material, using body language, voice intonation, and managing nervousness when speaking in public. The results of this training showed a significant increase in students' confidence and their ability to use Canva and deliver structured and engaging presentations. Thus, it is hoped that this training can improve the quality of students' communication skills which are useful both in academic and social environments
Perancangan Kalkulator Elemen Mesin untuk Perencanaan Poros
To design a transmission shaft requires quite complicated calculations, the calculation time is also quite long and the calculations must be careful because they are done manually, as has been done so far. The calculation results must also be accurate because the size of the shaft that does not meet the requirements can result in failure. To meet these needs, calculations in shaft design can be done with a tool, namely a software application that is run on a computer. The purpose of this study is to produce a software application or machine element calculator for shaft planning using the Matlab GUI, and to increase the efficiency of shaft planning in terms of time. This machine element calculator is designed by selecting the Matlab GUI menus according to the calculation formulas for the torsional load shaft diameter, namely Edit Text, Static Text, Panel and Push Button. Then arrange and edit the GUI menus through the Property Inspector and create a program (Matlab Code) for calculating the shaft diameter through the Callback menu. With this calculator, calculations in transmission shaft planning can be accelerated, which is an average of 24.8 minutes faster than manual calculations, which is an average of 34.8 minutes
Analisis Aplikasi System Ai Robotnisasi pada Kualitas Permesinan Mesin CNC di PT Evergrown Technology Batam
This study aims to analyze the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotization systems on the machining quality of CNC machines at PT Evergrown Technology Batam. The research focuses on two primary indicators of machining quality: surface roughness and product cylindricity, which were experimentally measured in a controlled laboratory environment. Additionally, production process efficiency was examined through indicators such as production time, production costs, defect rates, and tool wear. Data were collected from 25 observation units selected through purposive sampling and analyzed using a quantitative approach with the assistance of SPSS version 2.3. The analytical methods employed include descriptive statistics, simple linear regression, one-way ANOVA, and comparative analysis to evaluate pre- and post-implementation conditions of AI and robotization systems. The results indicate that the implementation of AI and robotization has a significant impact on improving machining quality and production efficiency, as evidenced by a significance value of p < 0.05. These findings suggest that integrating AI and automation into production processes is a strategic move for advancing modern manufacturing industries
Pengaruh Pembelajaran Mendongeng Terhadap Karakter Peduli Lingkungan pada Anak di RPTRA Beringin Indah Rawamangun
Sistem pengelolaan sampah yang kurang baik serta adanya pencemaran air dan udara menyebabkan kualitas lingkungan hidup yang rendah di masyarakat karena mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan. Keadaan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepedulian lingkungan di masyarakat masih sangat rendah. Setiap individu memiliki peran dan tanggung jawab dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sebuah tindakan guna meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan di masyarakat sejak dini. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah dilaksanakannya pelatihan mendongeng bertemakan lingkungan pada anak di RPTRA. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan dalam beberapa proses yakni tahap perencanaan, tahap asesmen, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan pelatihan ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan pada anak di RPTRA. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peningkatan nilai pre-test post test sebesar 26% serta kemampuan anak untuk mendongeng bertemakan lingkungan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diharapkan mampu memberikan perubahan yang baik bagi anak-anak di RPTRA dalam peningkatan karakter peduli lingkungan. Pengaruh penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, kegiatan mendongeng tidak hanya mengajarkan nilai – nilai lingkungan, tetapi juga mengembangkan kreativitas dan kemampuan komunikasi anak - anak. Dengan demikian pendekatan melalui pelatihan mendongeng dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai kepedulian lingkungan sejak dini

Variations in ship propulsion are needed to assist in the water transportation purposes that will be used. Waterjet becomes one of the efforts for variations of the ship propulsion system on the waterjet occurs because the action of the thrust force that occurs causes the ship to move at a certain speed and the reaction of the fluid. The use of 3D Printing is starting to be developed and researched whether it is feasible to use in water transportation. 3D Printing technology or known as Additive layer manufacturing and the famous technology is Fused Deposition Modeling this technique is used to print products using filaments as material, the printed product has ideal geometry if it has a precise size and perfect shape. The testing process carried out at the Bangka Belitung state manufacturing polytechnic obtained the highest thrust results 30˚ angle with the number of blades 5 has the highest value with a thrust of 206 N and the lowest 45˚ 5 blade with 135 N thrust, the difference in angle affects the thrust generated
Interactional Metadiscourse Markers Used in Opinion Articles of Rappler on Charter Change
The study aimed at identifying interactional metadiscourse markers utilized in the opinion articles of Rappler on charter change. Following the framework of Interpersonal Metadiscourse Model proposed by Hyland in 2005, three (3) opinion articles were selected to be examined and analyzed in the lens of Corpus- Assisted Discourse Analysis. Accumulated the highest metadiscourse markers present in the 3 opinion articles are the Engagement articles with 69 frequencies with 9 metadiscourse markers which fulfills the process of negotiation. Attitude Markers acquired 1 occurrence which has the lowest frequency among all metadiscourses. These interactional metadiscourse markers identified paved the understanding of using metadiscourse markers to express the opinions, stance, and the usage of these markers to attain persuasive goals
