Analisa Tegangan Maksimum Pada Desain Struktur Mesin Pengering Bekatul dengan Tebal 0.7 mm dan Variasi Material Menggunakan Metode Elemen Hingga
Rice bran is one of the parts produced from rice milling, this part contains more than 20% dietary fiber. Rice bran has many useful substances, but its use is hampered by bran itself because it is easily damaged due to hydrolytic and oxidative activity. To overcome this problem, another method is needed so that the Bekatul can last longer. A drying machine is a machine used to reduce the air content in a substance. The aim of this research is to design the structure of a rice bran drying machine with various types of selected materials to obtain stress and cooling values. The method used in this research is finite element simulation. The materials varied in this research were AISI 304, Aluminum alloy 6061 and Galvalume Steel with thickness 0.7 mm. From the test results, it can be stated that all materials are safe to be used as the main material for making structure. Optimalisasi Teknologi Dalam Pembelajaran Komputer Akuntansi Pada Siswa dan Guru SMK di Dhamasraya
Over the past five years the development of technology has experienced rapid growth and development, including computerization in the field of accounting. With the use of technology, all financial management can be done quickly, precisely and accurately. One software that is widely used by small and medium industries that is used for bookkeeping financial statements of various types of companies is the accurate accounting application. This application in the future will be tested on vocational students in the form of a Skills Competency Test (UKK). UKK results for students will be an indicator of achieving graduation competency standards. Meanwhile, for stakeholders, the UKK results are used as a source of information on the competencies possessed by prospective workers. However, currently there are still many teachers and students who cannot operate the accounting application, including at SMKN 1 Pulau Punjung school. Therefore, the community service team of the accounting department of Padang State Polytechnic had the opportunity to visit SMKN 1 Pulau Punjung, Dhamasraya Regency, to carry out training and assistance to teachers and students, so that these students have the competencies expected by the industry. In addition, an evaluation was also carried out to see the extent of the increase in students' understanding and skills in optimizing the accurate accounting application in managing financial data after the training was given, so that the knowledge provided was truly useful and could be used even though this service activity ended
Pelatihan Aplikasi Cad Cam ZW3D berlisensi Bagi Siswa SMKS Dhuafa Padang
Artikel ini memuat kegiatan Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat bagi dosen di jurusan Teknik Mesin, dalam rangka memenuhi Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi Politeknik Negeri Padang tahun anggaran 2023. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah memberikan Pelatihan Aplikasi Cad Cam ZW3D berlisensi bagi Siswa SMKS Dhuafa Padang, serta beberapa pengajar yang bertugas di sekolah tersebut. Aplikasi ZW3D adalah sebuah alat yang dapat memberikan kemudahan, dalam perancangan gambar teknik dan program G code pada pemesinan computer numerical control (CNC). Alat ini dapat menggambar 2 dimensi, 3 dimensi assembly komponen dan simulasi kerja perkakas bantu. ZW3D juga dapat melanjutkan dari pekerjaan gambar kerja menjadi program G kode pada mesin yang menggunakan NC. Gambar kerja sebuah komponen yang dibuat dengan 2D dan 3D, kemudian ditentukan material serta mesin yang akan digunakan. Menentukan alat potong serta pekerjaan potong yang dilakukan sehingga menghasilkan simulasi pengerjaan dan program G kode yang akan dimasukan ke mesin cnc. Import data g kode ke mesin cnc yang akan digunakan. Permasalahan yang ada pada mitra saat ini adalah masih rendahnya informasi tentang pemakaian aplikasi – aplikasi gambar desain dan kerja yang digunakan di industri pemesinan. Analisa Variasi Jumlah Mata Pisau Pada Mesin Pengiris Bawang Merah
The slicing process of shallots using simple tools remains a major obstacle to increasing production capacity and efficiency in the processing industry. To address these limitations, an analysis of the blade count variation in shallot slicing machines is required to produce more efficient and uniform slices. This study aims to optimize the shallot slicing process, enhance production efficiency, and evaluate machine performance with blade count variations of 2, 3, and 4 blades.The methods employed include documentation, direct experimental observation, and systematic data collection through treatment of experimental variables. The results show that the use of 2, 3, and 4 blades yields slicing capacities of 62 kg/hour, 70 kg/hour, and 78 kg/hour, respectively, with an average slice thickness ranging from 0.8 to 1.1 mm.These findings indicate that the number of blades significantly affects slicing productivity and efficiency, with the 4-blade configuration demonstrating the best performance. This study provides valuable insights for developing more effective and efficient shallot slicing machines, contributing to increased productivity in the shallot processing industry
Pengaruh Harga Tiket Masuk Terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung Pada Objek Wisata Pulau Pimpiang Alahan Panjang
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh harga tiket terhadap keputusan berkunjung pada objek wisata Pulau Pimpiang Alahan Panjang. Penelitian survei dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, menggunakan kuesioner sebagai pengumpulan data dengan jumlah responden 100 orang. Metode analisis menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Pengujian data menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji asumsi klasik yaitu uji normalitas, lalu uji hipotesis dan koefisien determinasi dengan menggunakan SPSS 29 sebagai alat bantu pengolahan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; harga tiket masuk berpengaruh terhadap keputusan berkunjung. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan statistik uji t variabel harga tiket masuk dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 6,912 dan t tabel sebesar 1,661, karena t hitung > t tabel maka H1 diterima. Dan bahwa harga tiket masuk berpengaruh terhadap keputusan berkunjung di objek wisata Pulau Pimpiang dengan R square sebesar 57,3%
Perkembangan Kualitas Lubang Komposit Serat Daun Nanas dengan Menggurdi Bertahap Kecepatan Tinggi
Composites are materials consisting of reinforcement and matrix. Reinforcing materials of composites consist of synthetic materials and natural fiber materials. One of the natural fibers that is currently being developed is pineapple leaf fiber, where several studies have found several ways to process pineapple leaf fiber so that it can be used as a substitute for synthetic fibers. One of the studies is looking for good machining parameters to process pineapple leaf fiber with a peck drilling canned cycle process which in this research objectives to see how the development of hole quality in the peck drilling canned cycle process. The stage in this research starts from the material being drilled with the stepwise dredging method, after the dredging process the holes are viewed using a digital microscope and then measured using Digimizer image processing software. The results of this study are roundness deviation, cylindricity deviation, axis perpendicularity deviation, and delamination ratio. The results obtained from this study will be subjected to statistical tests in order to obtain tested values using the ANOVA statistical test with the approach used, namely the fisher individual test in order to see the real impact of the machining process carried out
Analisis Performa Kampas Rem Rekayasa Ramah Lingkungan: Peran Phenol Formaldehyde dan Aditif Biokomposit
The issue of environmental damage is increasingly becoming a concern of the global community, including in the automotive industry. The use of environmentally friendly materials and the reduction of dependence on mineral-based or synthetic materials have become challenges that need to be overcome. Brake pads, as one of the components that have a vital role in a motor vehicle, are generally made of heavy metal materials, asbestos, and synthetic resins that can pollute the environment during the production process. The use of environmentally friendly raw materials such as wood powder, cocopeat and coconut shell carbon is an alternative in the brake pad production process. This study aims to analyze the performance of brake pads made of phenol formaldehyde with the addition of environmentally friendly biocomposites in the form of wood powder, cocopeat and coconut shell carbon. The method used is an experimental laboratory designed to evaluate the friction coefficient, wear rate, and microstructure of materials through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The results of the study show that this biocomposite brake pad has good wear resistance at high temperatures, especially with the carbon content of coconut shells which helps improve thermal stability. However, the value of the friction coefficient of brake pads still does not meet the minimum standard set by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 09-0143-1987, which indicates that this material is not yet fully feasible for automotive applications with high friction demands. Further research is needed to optimize the composition of materials, especially in increasing the friction coefficient to match industry standards
Analisis Kuantitas, Kualitas, dan Kontinuitas Air di Sejumlah Pelanggan PDAM Tangkiling
This study aims to find out how the level of demand for clean water from the PDAM that is used by some people in the Bukit Batu District area in terms of technical factors and economic factors. Because there are several problems for PDAM Tangkiling related to public complaints about the pungent smell of chlorine, cloudy water, and bad taste that affect the number of customers, a study was conducted on the quantity of water used in each household, the quality of clean water from the PDAM that is used by some people in the Bukit Batu District as a fulfillment of their daily needs, and the continuity of the flow in PDAM Tangkiling and the level of customer satisfaction with PDAM Tangkiling services. This study uses the literature study method from data owned by PDAM Tangkiling. The analysis results show the quantity of water in PDAM Tangkiling regarding technical factors; as much as 63% of respondents stated that the distributed water meets the need for clean water. The quality of the water was distributed to several customers of PDAM Tangkiling; as many as 80% of respondents said that the water quality was cloudy, as many as 67% of respondents said that the quality of the water smelled, and as many as 56%respondents said water tasted .The continuity of water flow to several PDAM Tangkiling customers is scheduled daily for 12 hours, from 05 a.m to 05 p.m. Based on the research results, the linear regression equation is obtained as follows: Y = 0.285X1 + 0.396X2 + 0.386X3, and the mileage of each variable is positive
Pengaruh Penambahan Limbah Flue Gas Desulfurization Gypsum Terhadap Karakteristik Tanah Lempung
Clay soil is a type of soil that has problems because it has high plasticity, a low carrying capacity, and is prone to settlement. This soil condition can be found in the Hanging Tramble, Pangkalpinang City. This study aims to determine the effect of FGD waste gypsum on clay soils, the maximum value of soil shear strength, and the minimum value of soil consolidation settlement. The stabilizing agent used in this study was Flue Gas Desulfurization ( FGD) waste gypsum with a mixture of 10%, 15%, and 20% FGD waste gypsum from the dry weight of the soil., for a total of 39 samples of the test object. Testing in this research uses Indonesian National Standards (SNI).The test results obtained the maximum value of the shear strength of the soil in the FGD waste variations of gypsum at 15%, which is 115.243 kN/m2, and in the 20% FGD gypsum waste mixture, the value of the shear strength of the soil decreased by 79.634 kN/m2. The minimum value for consolidation settlement was obtained from FGD waste variations (gypsum 20%), which is 0.683 cm. The minimum value obtained for consolidation settlement is influenced by the calcium content in the FGD waste gypsum, which can bind soil minerals so as to increase soil strength. It can be concluded that the maximum soil shear strength value occurs in the 15% FGD waste mixed sample variation gypsum, while the minimum soil consolidation settlement value is in the 20% mixed FGD waste mixture gypsum
Rancang Bangun Alat Ukur Torsi dan Putaran Untuk Pengujian Turbin Savonius Pada Wind Tunnel Berbasis mikrokontroler
The objective of this research is to design and develop a torque measurement device using a braking system and a rotational speed measurement tool for a Savonius turbine shaft, applied in a wind tunnel, with data acquisition controlled by an Arduino Uno microcontroller. The methodology employed in this research is the design and build method. The testing results indicate that the torque measurement device controlled by the Arduino Uno functions effectively. Comparing the results of braking force measurements using manual methods and data acquisition revealed a 2, 231 % error. Additionally, the rotational speed measurements using a tachometer and those using an encoder controlled by the Arduino Uno showed a small error of 0,59 %. Data were continuously monitored on a laptop screen during testing. Thus, this device can be utilized as an auxiliary measurement tool to assess the performance of a Savonius turbin
