    Studi Kelayakan Struktur Dermaga Meulaboh Aceh Terhadap Beban Layan

    This research aims to conduct a feasibility study on the Meulaboh port dock in Aceh. The port dock is a key infrastructure in supporting shipping and trade activities in the region. With continued economic growth and changing trade patterns, it is important to evaluate the feasibility and need to upgrade the Meulaboh port dock. The port dock feasibility study involves reviewing several analytical aspects, including technical, economic, environmental, and social aspects. However, in this research, the researcher only reviewed the technical aspects. Researchers will evaluate the physical condition and capacity of the pier so that barges can dock safely. The research methodology involved field surveys, secondary data analysis, and interviews with relevant stakeholders. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide clear guidance for decision-making regarding investment and development of the Meulaboh port pier.The research entitled Feasibility Study of the Meulaboh-Aceh Port Pier resulted in the conclusion that the pier can be berthed by barges measuring 270 feet. It is hoped that the results of this research can also be a basis for intelligent decision-making in efforts to improve and develop this important port infrastructure. The results of this research indicate that there has been damage to the jetty pier structure and significant corrosion to the breasting dolphin structure. The deformation due to service loads is very large in the damaged area of the pier jetty structure so it will definitely endanger users. Recommendations for this pier to continue functioning as public infrastructure require repairs

    There is an ongoing effort to develop and improve the quality of briquettes, which could become an alternative fuel source. This can be achieved by exploring the utilization of raw materials like kerosene. The goal of this study is to analyze the convection and conduction processes occurring in the combustion of tree ferns. It is conducted to explore the use of tree ferns as a raw material for the production of briquettes. The prototype briquette made using tree ferns is characterized by a honeycomb design with 14 holes and a diameter of 20 cm. It is made using a mixture of 20% adhesive and 80% tree fern charcoal. The various factors that influence the combustion process include the initial temperature, the pot wall temperature, the environmental temperature, and the moisture content of the briquette. Different instruments such as anemometer, an infrared thermometer, a stopwatch, and a moisture meter are also used in the study. The study revealed that the tree fern briquette made from 14 holes exhibited a convection heat transfer power of 4302.444watts and a conduction heat transfer power of 5106.5watts. The efficiency of the two processes allowed the briquettes to burn for about 2 hours and 30 minutes, and they could sustain a moisture content of 12%. The study indicates that tree ferns can serve as an energy source alternative to kerosene. This presents a sustainable and eco-friendly way of meeting energy demand

    Behavior in Using Video Streaming Technology: Facilitating Conditions and Habits

    The research was motivated by the phenomenon of active Twitch users in Indonesia, both as streamers and viewers, which had decreased from the previous few years. When compared to neighboring countries such as China, Japan and Korea, Indonesia has the lowest number of total users. The decrease in the number of users has an impact on Twitch's market penetration efforts into Indonesia and for streamers from Indonesia who are building their careers on the Twitch website. Research was conducted to obtain an overview of the level of acceptance of Twitch video streaming technology in Bandung. The use of the UTAUT2 model was implemented to obtain factors influencing the level of acceptance of Twitch usage. The research method uses quantitative, namely distributing online surveys from Google Form to the population and samples using the purposive sampling method. Distributing the questionnaire via social media then collecting the data in Microsoft Excel and SPSS for data processing. The research results show that the behavior of using Twitch video streaming is influenced by facilitating conditions and habits

    SMK Dhuafa adalah sekolah milik Yayasan Bakti Nusantara Isafat dengan tujuan membantu pendidikan kaum dhuafa dengan mendirikan sekolah gratis. Sekolah kejuruan teknologi satu-satunya yang gratis di- Sumatera Barat adalah sekolah ini. Beberapa bidang keahlian di SMK Dhuafa adalah Teknik Bangunan, Teknik Listrik dan Teknik Mesin.Saat ini SMK Dhuafa sudah memiliki sarana untuk praktikum pengendalian motor tiga phasa menggunakan PLC berbasis papan Arduino baik perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunaknya. PLC ini bersifat open source sehingga dapat dibuat sendiri, oleh karena itu Politeknik Negeri Padang (PNP) berkontribusi memberikan pelatihan kepada siswa untuk dapat membuat PCB PLC berbasis papan Arduino secara mandiri agar nantinya jika fasilitas sekolah tidak mencukupi maka dapat dilengkapi sendiri bahkan dapat melakukan produksi alat tersebut untuk tujuan komersialisasi. Mitra SMK Dhuafa Padang mengucapkan terima kasih dan memberikan apresiasi kepada PNP karena telah membantu menambah keterampilan siswa. Selain itu SMK Dhuafa Padang berharap kerjasama yang berkesinambungan dengan PNP tetap terjalin dalam inovasi teknologi tepat guna khususnya di bidang pendidikan yang terbukti saat ini membantu mereka dalam melengkapi sarana belajar mengajar

Indonesia perlu suatu inovasi yang bisa memanfaatkan teknologi untuk bisnis.     One example of the current development of the plastic industry is Anti-Bacterial Plastic. Anti-bacterial plastic is a plastic that can store food well, even for a relatively long time compared to plastic in general. In the industrial world, companies are required to continue trying to find various ways and efforts to be able to compete with other companies that have the same business field. Defective products are products produced from a factory or industry where the product does not meet predetermined product quality standards. According to consumers, a good quality standard is if the product can be used according to consumer needs. However, if the product cannot be used according to consumer needs, then the product can be said to be a defective product. By analyzing defects in the antibacterial plastic manufacturing process, it can be useful to find problems that arise in the plastic packaging manufacturing process. The research method is carried out using a process of experimentation and measurement as well as checking defects visually. From the research results, three types of defects in anti-bacterial plastic products were found, namely eyelets, shrinkage and dimensional defects.     Peanuts are a plant that is widely cultivated in Indonesia, but the process of peeling the skin is still often done manually, which requires a lot of time and effort. To increase efficiency in this process, a peanut peeling machine with a horizontal cylinder design was developed. This innovation is designed to make it easier for farmers and small entrepreneurs to peel peanuts with a larger production capacity. This peeling machine is equipped with a nut discharge regulation system and uses a 1 Hp electric motor with a speed of 1400 rpm which is transmitted to 700 rpm. The stripping process is carried out by putting the dried peanuts into the hopper, then the knife cylinder rotates to separate the husks from the peanuts. The system is supported by a belt and pulley mechanism that ensures smooth operation of the machine. The test results showed that this machine was able to peel peanuts with a capacity of 64 kg/hour, providing a significant increase in productivity when compared to manual methods. This machine is expected to provide a more efficient solution for the agricultural industry and home businesses in peanut processing

    Seiring kemajuan teknologi pengukuran, berbagai metode pengukuran baru telah muncul dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Metode ini banyak digunakan dan diterapkan di bidang konstruksi. Teknik pengukuran modern memberikan banyak manfaat, seperti data yang lebih akurat, cakupan area yang lebih luas, dan waktu pengukuran yang lebih singkat. Teknologi pengukuran terbaru meliputi penggunaan Total Station dan GPS Geodetik. Mempertimbangkan kebutuhan dunia kerja akan tenaga ahli di bidang pengukuran, kompetensi ini juga dijadikan kompetensi dasar di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Materi pengukuran ini juga diajarkan di jurusan Teknik Bangunan. Untuk meningkatkan pemahaman akan teknologi pengukuran terbaru, pelatihan bagi para guru di SMK N 1 Padang, khususnya jurusan Teknik Bangunan pada program studi Teknik Desain Pemodelan dan Informasi Bangunan (TDPIB), perlu dilaksanakan.     Cantilever beam structures are part of civil building structures that are efficient in supporting loads without requiring additional structures. The reasons for using cantilever beams are that they can reduce weight compared to prismatic beams so that costs are reduced, architecturally they provide visual beauty and are aesthetically attractive, they can increase structural rigidity, they can reduce deformation to maintain structural stability and performance and they can produce innovative designs according to needs. The research method used is a quantitative research method using material data, geometry and cross-section of structural components. Model and analysis using SAP2000 software. In this research, 5 models have been made consisting of 1 reinforced concrete prismatic cantilever beam model with a ratio of end beam height (h1) and base beam height (h2) h1/h2 = 1/1 and 4 models (model 2, model 3, model 4, model 5) reinforced concrete nonprismatic cantilever beam with variations in the nonprismatic ratio of end beam height and base beam height with ratios h1/h2 respectively 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5. The dimensions of the beam are 450 mm wide and 1000 mm high with a beam length of 4000 mm. The beam is modeled as a shell element with rectangular and triangular element models. The position of the base of the cantilever structure is fully clamped. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that decreasing the height ratio (h1/h2) of the reinforced concrete non-prismatic cantilever beam or reducing the concrete volume for each model causes an increase in deflection and a decrease in the maximum principal stress (Smax) for the reinforced concrete prismatic cantilever beam model

    Optimalisasi Penempatan Tower Crane Pada Proyek Pembangunan Gedung Pascasarjana, Universitas Riau

    The increase in building and infrastructure development in Indonesia demands effectiveness and efficiency in construction projects, particularly in the selection and placement of heavy equipment such as tower cranes. This study focuses on optimizing the placement of a tower crane in the construction project of the Graduate Building of Universitas Riau, planned to have 6 floors with a height of 31.45 meters. The main issues include delays in structural progress and the tower crane being positioned close to the maximum jib reach, which decreases lifting speed and increases cycle time, ultimately raising operational costs. The research aims to find a placement that maximizes productivity and minimizes operational costs. The methods employed include direct observation and interviews. Observations were conducted on 20 columns at elevation 13.45 meters on the 3rd floor to determine the tower crane cycle time. Data analysis compared cycle times between the existing placement and two alternative placements. The study results indicate that the existing placement requires 598.195 hours with operational costs of Rp1,402,373,077.80, while alternative 7 requires 590.637 hours costing Rp1,389,917,824.27, and alternative 9 requires 606.393 hours costing Rp1,415,882,093.32. The time and cost difference between alternative 7 and the existing setup is 7.558 hours faster and Rp12,455,253.54 cheaper. Hence, the optimal position for the tower crane is alternative 7 at coordinates 764722.537; 53537.493. This placement demonstrates that a shorter distance between the tower crane and the supply point enhances productivity and reduces operational costs
