    Rollins College Naval Unit

    Rollins College established a Naval Unit during the First World War, which carried on after the armistice in 1919. Students were able to take basic and advanced courses in Naval training during and after the war in order to prepare themselves. All students who were not participating in recognized athletics were required to take a class in the Naval Unit
