No full textThe taxonomical revision of the genus Poa in the flora of the Altai Mountain Country within Russian, Kazakhstanian, Mongolian and Chinese Altai has revealed 40 species within 8 aggregates. One taxonomical combination was made: Poa argunensis Roshev. f. tshuensis Serg., which were treated later as P. attenuata subsp. tshuensis (Serg.) Olonova, suggested here as P. tshuensis (Serg.) Olonova, comb. et stat. nov. Lectotypus of P. argunensis Roshev. f. tshuensis Serg. is designated here: "Altai, walley of Chuya river, near the mouth of Tyottygem river. 8 June 1903. P. Krylov" (TK). The nomenclature quotations, data about habitats and geographical distribution are given for each species. The key for identification of all species and aggregates is suggested. In some occasions the taxonomical notes have provided. The special units, aggregates, were accepted here. Due to hybridization and apomixes the hybrid complexes were arisen, consisting of different populations. In most cases, they were of unknown status and relationship. Some local races, poorly isolated morphologically, in different "Floras" were treated as species. Because of the lack of data, which could argue against their current taxonomical status, they are treated here as a species as well, but within these special units. Thus, untill obtaining the results of molecular analyses, which could find out the relationship and confirm their taxonomical status, the morphologically and geographically isolated races, having presumably similar (mainly hybrid) origin, are joined in these units. The ignoring of different morphological deviation could resulted in the lost of true rare forms, caused genetically, and lead to the lost of biodiversity

Get PDFResults of the critical revision of Central Kazakhstanian Ranunculaceae collections from the herbaria LE, TK, KUZ (Russia), AA, KG (Kazakhstan) carried out in 2008-2015 are presented. An updated checklist of Ranunculaceae of the Central Kazakhstan includes 58 species from 17 genera. In compare with data of "Flora of Kazakhstan" (Gamayunova, 2. 1961) the list of Ranunculaceae of Kazakh Upland is increased by 13 species. Some new localities for several rare species are revealed. Distribution of each species is given according to the botanical-geographical division of Kazakhstan. For the rarest species localities are also cited. The species new for the flora of the Central Kazakhstan recorded after "Flora of Kazakhstan" (Gamayunova, 1961) publication are marked in the checklist with a sign "+"
