Changes in Images about “Student Guidance and Counseling” by Teaching Practice
The purpose of the present study was to investigate effects of teaching practice on images about student guidance and counseling. Thirty undergraduate students volunteered to this study. They asked to answer questionnaire twice; pre- and post- teaching practice. Twenty-three undergraduate students answered both questionnaires. As images about student guidance and counseling, most participants answered “correcting errors” and “teaching rules” both at pre- and post-teaching practice. However, “assisting growth” was answered only at post-teaching practice. From these results, The role of teaching practice on changes in the images about student guidance and counseling was discussed
An investigation of naru and suru syntactic/semantic ‘change’ usages : Analysis of errors created by learners of Japanese as a foreign language
Naru and suru syntactic/semantic usages expressing ‘change’ are difficult for learners of Japanese as a foreign language (JFL), even at the advanced level (Iori, Takanashi, Nakanishi and Yamada, 2000). Thus, the present study investigated naru and suru mistakes created by JFL learners. The error analysis indicated that JFL leaners’ mistakes are fundamentally caused by confusing the contrastive nature of naru as a transitive and suru as intransitive, especially applying them for expressions of tense and aspect
Anode properties for lithium ion battery of surface-modified carbon materials using pressure-pulsed chemical vapor infiltration technique
Pyrolytic carbon (pyrocarbon) was coated on the anode carbon such as graphitized Mesocarbon Microbeads (MCMB) and natural graphites (NG) form 30 % C3H8-H2 at 950 ˚C using pressure-pulsed chemical vapor infiltration technique. It was revealed from TEM, XRD and Raman spectroscopy that the crystallinity of pyrocarbon films was lower than that of the graphitized MCMB and NG as the core carbons. Large irreversible capacity was observed in the original core carbons in PC/EC/DEC (2:1:1 vol.%) electrolyte, however, irreversible capacity was reduced by coating with 3 mass% pyrocarbon, which would be attributed to the low crystallinity of pyrocarbon. Under the condition of high current density of 450 - 600 mA/g, capacities of the pyrocarbon-coated samples were higher than those of the original core carbons
