    Determinants of Profitability in Indonesian Islamic Banking: Case Study in the COVID-19 Period

    With a high level of COVID-19 virus spread throughout the world, Indonesia is one of the countries in Southeast Asia affected by the largest transmission chain. This affects various layers of the industry in this country, one of which is financial institutions and the banking system. This paper tries to look at the performance of Islamic banking in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Using the linear regression method, the authors use ROA as the dependent variable. Whereas CAR, NPF, FDR, and BOPO as independent variables. The results show that CAR and BOPO have significant results while the rest do not show satisfactory results. It can be concluded that during the pandemic, Islamic banking experienced a pretty good and convincing performance

    THE EFFECT OF PERCEIVED VALUE ON E-COMMERCE APPLICATIONS IN FORMING CUSTOMER PURCHASE INTEREST AND ITS EFFECT ON USER LOYALTY

    This reserach gives special attention to the value that drives users to engage in trading activities through e-commerce. The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of perceived value on user buying interest, the effect of purchase intention on the level of trust, the effect of trust on the level of satisfaction, the effect of trust on the level of loyalty, and the effect of satisfaction on the level of loyalty. This research uses Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) analyzed by SPSS AMOS software. This study proves that perceived value is able to influence purchase intention and user trust, which in turn will form loyalty. The practical implications of this research are to provide input on the importance of perceived value to build customer loyalty, which in turn can provide sustainable benefits

    AbstractThis study aims were to determine the effect of cash flow-based earnings management on firm value as moderated by the variable Good Corporate Governance. This research is explanatory research. The research population is manufacturing companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2015. Methods of data analysis using Moderating Regression Analysis (MRA). This study explains that cash flow-based earnings management has an effect on firm value. Auditor quality has a significant effect on firm value.     Ownership Structure, Bank Stability and the Financial Performance of Commercial Banks in South Sudan

    Since independence in 2011, the Republic of South Sudan has witnessed growth in the financial systems and the overall economy. This has led to growth in the number of financial institutions in the country. There is however minimal research on their overall performance. Hence the current research sought to determine the effect of ownership structure, bank stability and the financial performance of commercial banks in South Sudan. The population for the study was all the 29 commercial banks in South Sudan. Secondary data was collected for the period 2012-2017 from audited annual financial reports of individual banks and the Central Bank of South Sudan reports while primary data was collected by the use of a semi-structured questionnaire. Collected data was edited, sorted and coded into SPSS 23 for subsequent data analysis using SPSS 23 statistical analysis tool. This research utilized both descriptive and inferential statistical methods in the analysis. Statistical tests to be utilized in the study included t-tests, f-test, regression models and ANOVA models. Findings of the research were presented using frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviation, correlation coefficients, charts, tables, and other statistical measures. Results of the study indicated there was a statistically significant moderating effect of ownership structure on the financial performance of commercial banks in South Sudan. This study recommends that the government should adopt better measures to safeguard public-owned commercial banks to improve their efficiency and performance

    Increasing Innovative Performance through Organization Culture, Work Satisfaction and Organization Commitments

    This research was conducted to measure innovative performance of teachers at the State Vocational High School Kolaka, Kolaka District, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Variables used in this study are organizational culture, job satisfaction, organization commitment and innovative performance. Organization culture, job satisfaction as an independent variable in analyzing organization commitment variables. While other variables namely innovative performance as the dependent variable. Sampling technique in this study was to use a census method with a total of 98 respondents, while those collected were 82 questionnaires. Data analysis in this study uses smart PLS (Partial Least Square). Finding of this study found that organizational culture and job satisfaction have positive relationship on organization commitment. Moreover, organization culture, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment have positive relationship toward innovative performance

    Existence Of Company Size In Control Towards Family Ownership And Debt Policy Value Of Companies

    This study aims to examine the effect of family ownership, debt policy on firm value with firm size as a control variable. The sample used was a family company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to December 2017. The type of this research was quantitative using Agency theory and Signaling Theory. Analysis technique with multiple regression analysis. The results showed that family ownership had a positive and significant effect on firm value, and debt policy had a negative and significant effect on firm value. While company size as a control variable in this study cannot control the relationship of the influence of family ownership and debt policy on firm value, in other words, company size as a control variable does not have a significant effect on the relationship of family ownership and corporate value policy debt

    JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong is a hotel that carries an iconic, majestic and spectacular concept. This hotel is the first five-starred hotel in Banten by providing various luxurious facilities and equipment that makes it famous as “Jewel of The City”. This research aims to reveal the Influence of Human Resource Management on Employee Job Satisfaction in JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong. Data in this quantitative research gathered using questionnaire given to 100 employees of the hotel and then processed by SPSS 23. The result shows that the mean of human resource management in JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong is 4.65 stating the excellent human resource management already exists in JHL Solitaire, meanwhile the mean for the variable of employee job satisfaction in JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong is 4.65 stating very high of employee job satisfaction in JHL Solitaire. The influence of human resource management on employee job satisfaction in JHL Solitaire Gading Serpong is 98.21%, and the other 1.79% is influenced by other factors that are not involved in this study

    This research aims to determine the strategy of business development of patchouli oil farmers in improving economic welfare, to analyzing obstacles or barriers in running the cultivation and production of patchouli oil in central Meranti The district of Pintu Pohan Meranti Toba Samosir Regency. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach because the research intends to understand what phenomena experienced by the subject of research. The method of determining the area of the research use Purposive technique or deliberate with consideration of Central Meranti is one of the villages that the majority of its citizens still hang the livelihood as a patchouli oil farmer. Data collection methods are obtained from primary data and secondary data where primary data is obtained through interviews with Informans as well as direct observations of the field, and secondary data is obtained from the relevant agencies. The Data obtained is then analyzed using SWOT analysis. The results showed that there were only 2 families that still maintain patchouli oil farming efforts with patterns and strategies to develop this business in a simple way. Patchouli marketing is also do by selling directly due to price fluctuations that happen very often. In addition, the limited information such as the writing and socialization of a patchouli is still very limited from the government to the farmers so that more and more farmers are switching commodities

    Analysis Of Financial Performance PT. Pusri (Persero) Palembang

    This research is titled financial performance analysis P.T Pusri (persero) Palembang, this research has a purpose for assessing the financial performance of  PT. Pusri (Persero) Palembang when viewed from the ratio calculation. In collecting the data the unstructured documentation and interview method is used. While the analysis techniques used for this study are the liquidity ratio (Current Ratio, Quick Ratio), profitability ratio (Net Profit Margin, Return On Investment, Return On Equity) and activity ratio (Total Asset Turnover, Fixed Asset Turn Over). The report used is the financial statements of  PT. Pusri (Persero) Palembang in 2016-2018. According to the calculations carried out, the results are as follows, The performance of  PT Pusri (Persero) Palembang in 2016-2018 is seen from the liquidity ratio experiencing an increase and the results are liquid, although in a liquid condition the conditions are not good, especially in 2016 and 2017 because they are under industry standard. And for the financial performance of PT Pusri (Persero) Palembang in 2016-2018 seen from the profitability ratio has decreased and in unfavorable conditions because it is below the industry standard because the price of goods in the company is low this can be understood because companies, especially PT Pusri ( Persero) Palembang is a state-owned company under the auspices of SOEs so that this company receives subsidies from the government. While the company's financial performance in 2016-2018 is seen from the ratio of activities experiencing improvement but at a less favorable condition because it is below the industry standard
