Each town is seen like a center at local level and like a periphery at regional level. This notions, center and periphery are relatives, depending of the scale. Considerations regarding Buhăieşti – Roman railway
Get PDFBuhăieşti-Roman railway crosses the western part of the Moldavian Central Plateau, from south-east to north-west, connecting the railway thoroughfares from Moldavian Plateau. Some characteristics of the railway, bridges and footbridges, measures taken for the embankments stabilization and consolidation of the slopes along the railway are presented. Some historic aspects about the construction and the role in the First World War are also presented. Even this is a secundary railway, the role in social and economic development of the crossed area it was and it is important. The historical value of the railway, the contribution to the emerging from the isolation of this area, the sustaining of the communting towards Negreşti, Vaslui, Roman and Iaşi, the fact that it represents the main transport mode before 1989, these are few aspects which are emphasizing the importance of this railway

Get PDFAgro-economic composite indicators of the Moldavian rural spaces.The concept of rural areas can hide many ambiguities, given the modest rural circumscription of the term, which can mean both a defined territorial administrative structure and social reality characterized by simplicity relations intra / inter-community, or when the term „environment” is joined can identify over-geographical structure, ordered by several interrelated nature shells, dominated by primary functions, with the natural influences that remain evident.From the theoretical point of view, these conceptual distinctions can be seen as outdated in a post-modern reality that requires the internationalization and top-down integration of the geographical space through global and/or glocalizant developments.Capturing these trends provide the theoretical framework of the present study that by using statistical-mathematical and modern cartographic methods aims to achieve the following objectives:-highlighting the importance of local conditions in the construction of partial indices classifying elements of rural development;-developing a synthetic index that correctly trace the limits of justice and territorial cohesion;-building a typology of rural areas, able to capture the attention of general mechanisms of emancipation of rural components, mechanisms centered on the degree of socioeconomic integration of agricultural activities but exposed by post-modern trends of social and spatial manifestation: farm multifunctionality and rural family multiactivity

Des aspects nouveaux de la dynamique atmospherique de la zone equatoriale
Get PDFThe launching of meteorological satellites started in the 60’s, and they are more and more advanced every year. Therefore, the processing of the huge amount of meteorological data provided on internet by specialized institutes, mainly NOAA, led us to the conclusion that our perception on different meteo-climatologic phenomena (even on some important ones) does not correspond anymore to the reality. Analysing the latest data we concluded that what is normally called Inter - Tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is not really a convergence, but a well defined atmospheric belt, with its own characteristics and dynamics presented in this paper. The main characteristic of its dynamics is represented by the movement of the whole air mass from east to west. This analysis also led us to the conclusion that many cyclones (hurricanes) developing in the south – south-western sector of the Northern Atlantic are born on the African territory, within the equatorial atmospheric belt – what we called Equatorial Easterlies in this article
Clivages démographiques dans l’espace eurasiatique. Etude de cas: la population russe/les populations turques
Get PDFThis demarche advance one analysis of the spatial differentiations issued about the demographical evolution of the Turkish populations and the population of the Russian Federation. This comparative demarche started of the analysis of the spatial distribution of the Turkish peoples and continued with the study of the demographical differential existing between the Russians and the Turkish peoples. The analysis focused the origin and the evolution of this differential. The statistical series processed relates to a long period (1970 - 2008) and demonstred the existence of a coherents types of the demographical evolution which dissociate the two ethnical categories of population. Is one of the most importants demographical clivages from the Eurasia. His importance it’s so much greatest in the geopolitical contexte of the concerned areas and along the evidence of a verry complicated distribution of these populations. The future of the relationships between the Russian Federation and the Turkish states is contradictory, considering the absence of the claimed unity of the last states, but the weight increase of these populations in the Russian territory, including the recently economical migration, may be change the situation
Tăul Zânelor from Colibiţa – morphotouristic characterisation
Get PDFThe Colibiţa cauldron benefits from important attractive resources and represents an area with a touristic vocation, as ever since the beginning of the 19th century and up to the year 1976 a climacteric resort functioned here. Nowadays the local and district authorities stipulate the re-launching of this resort and the optimal capitalization of every attractive resources hereby. Tăul Zânelor is a mountain lake situated in the south-eastern part of the cauldron and, thanks to its morpho-functional features, it represents an attractive objective acknowledged both locally and regionally. In this context, the present study is meant to bring a series of information of a genetic-evolutional order, so as to emphasize the role of the geomorphologic factors in shaping the touristic image of the lake, of the surrounding area and cauldron limits, as well as to imagine future touristic products that rely on the relief’s attractiveness
